 + -1 moreThis man is Black in a predominantly upscale and White county. I am originally from the Northeast and do not have a prejudice bone in my body. I have made every effort to compliment this gentleman on his craftsmanship, have been cordial, as well as purchasing other products from his shop. He is standoffish, expensive and I will no longer do business with him.
Description of Work: Heels and partial soles.

 + -1 moreHowever, I did find a GREAT place for Shoe Repair. It was the Vaughn Square Laundry, that has a sub-contract shoe repair service. It was very resonable and fast. Quality of the repair was very good. I had a zipper replaced in one of my hunting boots for $20. That repair saved my around $200 for new pair of hunting boots. Now I can get an extra season or two out of this pair. I would highly recommend this service. It also appeared that they had drop off laundry and dry cleaning.
Description of Work: I was never able to get through to them, just a machine, then no return call.

 + 0 moreThe quality of the work was excellent. If I didn't know where the repair is, I wouldn't be able to see it. Fast work - I took it in on Friday afternoon and was able to pick it up Saturday. And the price was only $6.
Description of Work: He repaired the strap handle on my leather computer/brief case. One side of the handle had ripped away from the body. The handle was re-stitched onto the case.

 + -1 moreGlenn is the owner and he's a great guy! He does excellent work. My shoes always look brand new and they last longer too. His prices are so reasonable, I can afford to take several pairs at one time. Friends have commented that my shoes always look new. Double-O-Sole is my secret! Saves on purchasing new shoes because my shoes last longer! I've sent friends and family to him.
Description of Work: Twice a year I take my seansonal shoes to Glenn for some TLC. He polishes, cleans and makes any necessary repairs. He has re-soled several pairs and does some of the most difficult repairs. I had a pink pair of silk dress shoes that I wore to an outdoor event and got grass stains on them. Glenn cleaned the shoes and put a fabric protectant on them. He saved an expensive pair of shoes!
