Called Dixie and they sent a guy who didn't replace lock and charged $60. Called another company and they used SAME person. He charges me an additional $100 for 30 min labor to replace lock. Was quoted $30 and up. Maybe shouldn't blame DIXIE totally because this was AUGUSTA LOCKSMITH that came back (even though it was same technician). This was same person who asked to play our piano when he came the first time. Very unprofessional and too expensive for work performed.

After checking out Dixie on Angies List, I called Dixie around 8am on Friday, December 19th. I was told it would be before 12 and it was...about 10:30. Cody Sweeney,the Dixie Tech, showed up on time and well dressed, good work shoes, clean clothes, and most importantly a very pleasant disposition. He had the right knobs, tools, and knowhow! The work went smoothly and was done to my complete satisfaction and more importantly was done to my wife's satisfaction when she returned home from shopping.I do have some more lock work in the very near future and I will ask for Cody...great job Cody...thank you!!!

The Service man was very professional and quickly did a great job. He was more than willing to look at any other problems I had related to his area of expertise.

They actually did really well as far as I can remember! Since I was completely locked out of my house I wasn't too concerned with the price but I don't remember being particularly upset with them but they did great. They were there pretty quickly after I called them.

My Friend locked key's in the car and was stranded in the North Augusta court house parking lot. It was getting late when I received the call for a locksmith. I immediately searched Angie's list and got Dixie Lock and Safe, inc. Within 30 minutes they arrived and unlocked my Friend's car. My Friend said the cost was more than fair.

The tech was great, even helped remove a broken off key in a lock. Would definitely refer/use them again.

The locksmith was wonderful. He got the lock open, the damaged key extracted and he even gave us a new key - no charge. Excellent service. We will definitely be calling again.

Great. They were here quickly to let in my house sitter. I put $60 as what I paid but cannot remember.

they were punctual. they had one large truck and one small truck. There were four men. They worked very hard. they did not damage any of the walls at either location. No damage was done to any of the items moved. The price that was quoted was the same as charged. It was worth every dime.

The tumbler mechanism was missing pieces, but they were still able to use it and was able to repair it to a functional state.

Very profesial ,he went on time and gave me good advice who to contact for other ishues we had in the house.I would highly recomend thios company.

I have used Dixie Lock and Safe at two different business. They have handled rekeying the business several times. They have handled special security areas for the business that have federal regulations that must be met. I have also used them for my home and other family member’s houses. After using a couple of other locksmiths, I will only trust Dixie Locksmith with the security of my employees and family. The personal service that they offer is why I will turn to them for any future needs. You will not go wrong using this company!

)On Feb 15 2013 , we noted that if we locked our front door, we could not unlock it unless we went ouside with a key. We called Dixie locksmith. They came out right away(less than one hour) and repaired the lock. Since we had considered replacing the entire lockset with a double keyed lock,we discussed this with the technician because we wanted the outside of the door to have a decorative handle. He informed us of the type of lock and handle set to purchase.He returned on the 3/8/2013 and professionally installed the lock.

Super professional from the phone call to the person sent to the job. These folks are courteous, professional and trustworthy. He not only fixed the broken lock without damaging anything, he also fixed a door that was not closing all the way and found that thebuilder had not put enough big screws to keep the door aligned and he fixed it! If you need lock services, these are the folks to call! And to top it off, they are very reasonable with the charges! A+++

Front door lock would not open. Tech came and discovered that the door was warped and it wasn't the lock. Tech shaved wood door around the lock plate and fixed the problem. Great customer service!

Dont waste your time or money here. The guy was extremely rude, non careing that he gave me bad advise and made me haul it all the way down to his shop. perhaps they should give more accurate information on the phone or ask more questions about whats wrong so they dont waster your tiem taking a half of a day of work only foir them to tell you NO. Even if they were somewhat concerend over the trouble they put customers through might go a long way, But not here.

Called the day before to have the locks on our new house re-keyed. The dispatcher couldn't guarntee me next day service, which was fine, but did say he would try to get us in time permitting. Otherwise, we scheduled an appointment for 2 days following. I got a call from the locksmith the next day and they were able to do the job that day. The locksmith was very professional, fast and pleasant. I felt that the services were very reasonably priced since he had to take apart 7 different locks and deadbolts to do the job and it took him less than an hour. I would definitely use them again.

Excellent experience in these days of gouging and finding unnecessary additional services or repairs. He arrived promptly and went right to work. He was very pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. He finished the repair in a reasonable amount of time and was very professional. I will definitely use them again.

Dixie was fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. My overall experience was excellent.
