They pick up twice a week. I have been using them about an year. They have a yard waste and recycling pick up also and we like this.

when a pick up problem came from snow and ice problems they came back to pick up out of sequence because I asked. Whenever I have called with a problem, they have made it right no questions asked. Great company

I was referred to the company by a friend. We moved into our home on a Thursday, I called the following Monday morning to establish service. The phone was answered on the second ring, the representative was very responsive. After I told her we had just moved into the area she asked if I'd like the container delivered that morning so the service could start on Wednesday......ABSOLUTELY....was my response. It was great because I had been unpacking for days and had already collected enough trash to fill the container. The representative was very professional and responsive.

My husband and I are moving into a new house from a townhome and needed to set up garbage pick-up services. I had noticed their cans in the neighborhood of our new home and had seen them listed in good standing on Angie's List. Over the past 2 weeks I have called this company and left two detailed messages that we are moving into a house and require services and to please return my call along with two different phone numbers where we could be reached. On the 3rd attempt, which happened to be during their "normal business hours" (3:15 pm on Friday), the phone was finally answered, but the lady told me that she was already off for the weekend and that I would have to call them at 8:00 am on Monday. Apparently they do not need my business, so I took it elsewhere. Poor customer relations.

Columbia Waste has been an excellent garbage collection company for me. I hired them as soon as I moved to the area and for five years they have provided excellent and professional service. Even when I forget to put my trash out, I have called them and they have volunteered to pick it up before my next due date for no additional charge. They are local and small, but they have nothing to envy from the bigger companies. I wuold recommend them any day.

I would use their services again in the future.
