Called Certrapro in August to get an estimate. The rep showed up on time, looked over the job, and gave me a verbal estimate to be followed by an email estimate. A few days later I still had not received the email estimate, and after I contacted the rep he did send me the email estimate. I told the rep that I would like the job done the last week in September because i would be out of town until then, and he said that was probably fine but that somebody would contact me to set it up. A few weeks went by and nobody contacted me about setting up the job, so I assumed it would not be done the last week in September. However, the last week in September I got a call from the paint crew who were on the way to my townhome. I was not at my townhome when I got the call, so I had to rush there to meet the paint crew. The first day the crew pressure was the front of the townhome. The second day the painting was done. The original estimate was $1100, but I was charged $1600. I think this was because the original estimate was for one coat of paint and the estimate said that a second coat would be $500. According to the paint crew only part of the exterior got a seond coat, the trim around the windows and the gutter. Since the whole job was not given two coats and the part that did get 2 coats was so small, I think the $1600 was not a fair price. The crew was courteous and professional, did a good job, and cleaned up well. The two negatives were the lack of communication about the date when the work would be done, and overcharging on the small area that was given a second coat.

Steve Grumman, Residential Sales Associate for CentaPro, provide us with a very detailed estimate/proposal of work that would be performed. Estimate included photos of work to be performed. Painting crew (3) were punctual, courteous, thorough, and very hard workers. I was very satisfied with their painting performance and the cost was reasonable. They did a very good job of cleaning up after each work day. I have no hesitation in recommending this particular local Independent Franchise CertaPro Painting company, owned by Sheri Osburn, to others.

They were punctual, professional, and friendly. They were pricey, but they did a good job.

I called their local number, and was automatically routed to a regional or national call center. They took my information and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. The local representative showed up at the scheduled time, was very polite, courteous, and had outstanding customer service skills. Seemed very knowledgable about the products they offered and the services they render. Even though we elected to go another route for our project, we were very pleased with their estimate.

I cannot say enough good things about CertaPro! We have had interactions with many painters over the years, and CertaPro was by far the best painters we have ever used. Key points: 1) Quality of the work was superb. The painters were very professional/competent and the end result was outstanding! 2) Communication with us was excellent. They kept us in the loop at every stage of the process. There were no surprises (other than pleasant ones) 3) Professionalism: Every person in the CertaPro franchise was polite, respectful, and punctual. 4) They cleaned up everything after they were done. 5) The initial visit by Sheri Osburn was amazing. She listened carefully to what we needed done, and then worked with us to plan the entire project. She was very helpful in picking out paint colors. She also walked around the house to carefully assess what needed to be done and took digital pictures of key parts. Then she drew up her estimate, included the pictures and written details and printed a copy for us to read and sign (she had all this with her).

I liked that they were on time and dependable. They did what was on the quote but it was really a 2-coat job instead of the 1-coat they had priced so I wasn't really happy with the estimate. Evidently their coat wasn't as thick as my coat.

The painter arrived on time and worked for 2 full days. The second day he had a helper. The painting was well done. Preparation of the last room painted (a bedroom) was less complete than the other rooms. When the painter was leaving I asked if he painted under the light fixtures because I knew I would be changing all of the fixtures. He said no and that he only did that when he was told to. My contract stated that light fixtures would be loosened - I assumed that meant that the area under the mounting would be painted (why else would they be loosened???). I received a call regarding the fact that painting had not been done under fixtures because I completed an online evaluation and mentioned this. I was told that I would be contacted within 2 days to arrange a time for these areas to be painted. That was several weeks ago and I haven't had any further contact with Certapro. I'm going to have to hire someone to fix this problem in the bathroom since it involves wallpaper. For the other rooms, I am now going to have to purchase ceiling paint (they don't leave that) and either paint the unpainted area myself or hire someone. I'm in my late 60's and try to avoid ladders but I'm not sure I want to pay for additional paint AND someone to do paint the small areas. I'd let it go but it really looks unsightly. What they did they did well but cost was excessive especially considering my additional costs now. Some services were not completed as I understood they would be. The painter had me complete an evaluation of him while he was standing there. He told me a good evaluation would be helpful to him. I asked if I could send it in and he said it was better if I gave it to him. Certainly, evaluations completed in this manner are not reliable! I was disappointed in the evaluation process. I recommend customer evaluations obtained in this manner be discounted. I do not recommend CertaPro at this point and certainly will not be using them in the future. I thought I was paying a premium for the best - which turned out not to be true.

Overall the service was pretty good. The staff was very nice. The next day I found a piece of unpainted area, and they came out a few days after that and were very gracious about painting it at no extra charge. As a suggestion I would say the company needs to make it clearer what "trim" entails.

We had several proposals. Certapro gave us a detailed work plan and stuck with it. They were very punctual and professional.

I had never contracted painters before so I wasn't sure what to expect. The person from CertaPro who came out and gave me the estimate was a woman and I was very happy about that. She did a good job in helping me pick a color for the living room and hallway and easy to talk to. The painters came out the following Saturday. They were on time and worked the entire time they were at my house. They didn't even take a lunch break either day. They did a great job prepping and painting and cleaned up after themselves. They offered to go ahead and put primer on the backsides of the doors that I planned to paint myself at a later date. I am very satisfied with the job CertaPro did.

The owner was good. They did quality work.

When we made the appointment after the Home Show with Sheri Osburn we just wanted our new deck stained since we were planning to side the house. She simply asked if she could also give us an estimate on what it would cost to paint the house, saying 'it would be a shame to cover the beautiful cedar wood'. We also thought the same thing but had convinced ourselves that we didn't want to have a house that needed continual maintenance in the future. We were assured the paint would be top quality (Sherwin Williams), the guarantee was more than we expected as well as the reasonable price helped us make our decision! We decided to have the house painted. We felt very good about the decision and we were not only about to keep the natural cedar wood, we saved a lot of money in the process. When the crew came out to begin the job, they were on time, polite, accommodating, offered advice, and did a wonderful job. They cleaned up each day and left the property in excellent condition. We are very pleased with the final job, the colors were what we expected and we just couldn't be more pleased. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone and would use them again ourselves in the future. What more can I say; dependable, professional, considerate, excellent work!

The people were clean and curteous. They arrived about 1/2 hour late the first day, 3 hours late the next and 1 hour late the next. The length of time worked varied from 5 to 7 hours per day. The work area was left clean every day. Unfortunately a light fixture fell while being removed for painting and damaged the sink and counter top. The damage was slight about 10 nicks or chips. Unfortunately one of the nicks exposed the sink metal. When they tried to repair the fill did not match the original countertop. I accepted the repair and chalked the damage to fate. The light fixture was repaired but the process required about a month (ordering parts for an old light fixture. They were the highest bid, but my husband was impressed with the sales representative. The overall quality was average, but not outstanding. The attitude was stellar. very professional. The bathroom was very clean afterwards and there were no problems with clean up.

They did very well. I was very happy with what they did. They came out, and they inspected and estimated the work. The estimate was right on. The work was of top quality. They were timely. I had no complaints at all. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

They did a good job. I would recommend them. I have a huge home and with the deck, the trim and a basement and on 2 sides of it, it's like a 3 storey and I spent under $7000. They were timely. They came when they said they were going to come. They finished the job when they said they would finish it. The professionalism of the manager and the lead painter was an A, but some of them in the crew got sneaky. I don't think they realized that my daughter was coming. I gave that feedback to the lead painter.

The estimator showed up when she said she would, walked around the house with me, and produced a written estimate that described the work and services to be performed. The cost was in the middle of the estimates I received and she worked with me to set a convenient schedule. She told me who would be in charge of the work. The foreman called first then showed up when he said he would. He walked down the job with me and confirmed the work to be done. He told me who would come out and when and guess what - that's what happened!The foreman introduced the workers to us and what each one would be doing. They worked very efficiently and cleaned up EVERYTHING at the end of EVERY day. After they left each day, you could not tell any work was being done on the house until they showed up again the next morning. We had one rain day and the foreman called me and apologized and explained why the particular work scheduled that day couldn't be done in the rain. He then re-scheduled with me when the work would resume. When new workers showed up at various parts of the job, the foreman introduced them to me on their first day. I always knew who was there and what they would be doing. When the job finished, the foreman walked down the entire job with me and made sure I was satisfied with what they'd done. It was excellent - we've painted the house twice before and this was definitely the finest job. Then the estimator came by for her inspection. She found some details we had missed and called the foreman and arranged for it to be taken care of. Again, the foreman called, made an appointment, and then showed up on time and fixed the item quickly. Finally, the local manager called to make sure we were happy with everything, I couldn't ask for any better, or for any different service. The workers were polite and cordial and hardworking. I work in an industrial environment where safety is a primary concern and these people definitely worked to the standards I am used to. The communications and commitment were outstanding. Their system is excellent - every problem you've ever heard about regarding contractors working at someone's house has been covered.

They have come in at two different times, of which once was back in June. It cost $500 for one bedroom and $450 for the master bedroom. I think that they did an excellent job but they were expensive. They did excellent clean up. Their employees were very knowledgeable and quiet.

It started when a young man knocked on my door and asked if I needed any painting done. When I said yes, he scheduled an appointment for me to get an estimate. The owner, Sheri Osburn, then called and confirmed the appointment. She showed up with a laptop, folder of customer references, and paint samples. We then picked out the best type of paint and the color. She then measured the areas and entered the data into her laptop and computed the estimate.The estimate was for less than I had been expecting. She also mentioned a one year no-interest financing plan that we used to spread out the payment. It took several days for her painters to complete the job. We were so pleased with their work that we added additional areas to the original job.

Sheri and her crew did an excellent job at our house. She was prompt with her quote. Price was extremely reasonable. Sheri's crew was professional and prompt. They cleaned up after themselves. PLUS Sheri followed up after the work was over. She really wanted to make sure we were satisfied. She made us feel like we were her only customer.

The experience was excellent. Sherry was extremely helpful, very professional and we were pleased with the results. I will use them again in the future.

The entire experience from start to finish was great. From the person who did came to do the estimate to the phone calls from assistant to the painters themselves everybody was very punctual. We were told the job would take 5 days (2000 sq ft house.) and that's what it took. The painters were here promptly at 8 am and out by 4:30 pm every day. They worked quickly and carefully. At the end of each day when they left they cleaned up after themselves, except for the minute dust particles (see comment) that settled after they vaccuumed and the slight smell of paint you would've never know they were in the house. The painters were always courteous and worked around our scheduled ensuring we could use the kitchen at the end of the day and sleep in our own bedroom at night. A great job done by all, out ceilings are rid of that dingy dust ridden popcorn crap and replaced with nice smooth what ceilings. I'd also like to thank them for turning me on to Sherwin-Williams paint. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the low odor paint they used so I'll definitely be using it to paint the walls this fall. Comment: As was mentioned to me and my wife during the estimate, that there would be dust particles as at the end of each day during clean up there is still dust lingering in the air. The amount was minimal, I would say equivalent to a weeks worth of normal houshold dust except that it happens in a day. Again...Great Job.

Although the initial contact was professional and prompt, that was where it ended. It was a nightmare experience with a parade of painters with poor work ethic and even worse, their skills were substandard to say the least. The first painter would come for a short time in the morning and then disappear for days. The wallpaper not removed or properly prepared for paint. One coat was applied when 2 coats were specified and the owner attempted to return the same incompetent painter to have a second shot at the job because it was having to come out of her pocket if a new painter was sent to do the job.That is not a position the client should have to defend...ever. It turned out the second painter was nearly as poorly qualified as the first one. Nice guy but when he left our home, we had to hire someone else to come in and sand and skim-coat the bathroom because the texture was so poorly applied. I am watching my paint bubble up in my kitchen over the wallpaper right now. Even though the work is supposed to be guaranteed, the quality of the painter is just a shot in the dark, I won't be calling them to come back here. So all around it was a very frustrating experience which held up other projects in our home. Would definitely not be able to recommend them to a friend. Very disappointing.

The guys that came out were fantastic. They did exactly what we asked them to do. Also they were kind, clean, and polite. We dealt with Sherryl from Certapro. She was very kind, but their initial quote was about 3 times what we actually paid. They were over priced, so we told them our budget, and they contracted the work out instead. We didn't want to pay the high amount, and we ended up getting what we wanted for a lower price. The guys that came out where young guys that did great work.
