We have lived here less than a month and I have requested at least 10 repairs. Appointments are not available for repairs for at least a week - even for a non-working toilet! They repairmen are overworked, overbooked, and therefore always late, if they come at all. The supplies needed for repairs are often unavailable for days. The yard workers are maniacs on large machines. They do a terrible job in every aspect. When I call the office to ask about anything, much less complain, I am treated with disdain. Do not ever live in a rental managed by Balfour Beatty! The only reason I gave them a C under "Quality of Work" is the actual repairmen who do the work seem to be qualified. It's the management that is the problem!
Description of Work: We moved to Ft. Gordon and live on post in the privatized housing managed by Balfour Beatty. They are responsible for all home maintenance as well as the yard. The house is supposed to be perfect when you move in. In 3 weeks, the toilet has been stopped up at least a dozen times. Most recently the flushing mechanism broke and it took 4 days to get someone out to fix it. The floor is coming up in 2 places, all the light bulbs have burnt out, the battery in the smoke detector died, the gas stove wouldn't light, the pilot on the hot water heater has gone off twice, the power has been off at least 6 times and the water has been off twice!
