Description of Work: Overgrown area cleaned

Description of Work: Augusta lawn and turf performed landscaping work in our back yard, including a sprinkler system, stone patio, sod, bushes, and Palm trees. It started well enough, and we were reasonably pleased with the work after it was finished. The only issue we had at the time is with one section of the yard where they were suppose to lay down pine straw, and they never did. We had a few issues with the sprinklers, which they did come fix for free. The problems started when the bushes they installed around the pool started to die, and we had them come to replace them a couple times. I kept asking what the issue was, and they told me to turn the sprinklers on and off throughout the week as the flower beds got too saturated or too dry. After researching the bushes myself, I found that they need to be in well-drained beds, when the whole reason for them being there was to help deal with flower beds that frequently are flooded due to poor drainage. Also, we had a giant lake forming in our back yard whenever it rained before the landscaping, so we told them about it and they said they would grade it to help runoff. They never did, and told us to install gutters. We did, which did not help. The main issue we had with them though, is responsiveness on the phone. I would call them to discuss issues we were having, they would never answer, and I would leave messages to not just come over, but call me so we could discuss it. In a week, I would find them in my backyard without a phone call or even ringing the doorbell. This happened multiple times. We had huge weed problems after they were finished, so we hired them for weed and fertilizer service. The sod they installed in the backyard is now overgrown with weeds, so we eventually cancelled the service. I actually believe they never fertilized the back yard, as I found that at some point our Orkin guy had locked our back gate, and the fertilizer service tech never told us, so he simply didn't fertilize the back. Now we basically get to start over with the entire area they laid down sod. The last time we had them out we informed them that we had about 12 bushes that were dead again, and one palm tree. He said that he would replace them and give us a call. It has now been over a year, and we have not heard back. Our stone patio is not completely level, and we have spots on it that pool with water when it rains, causing moss to grow between the stones. I do not recommend this company for anything more than minor work. They seemed professional when they came out the first time, but over time the "quick fix" methodology of their work has become apparent.
