Aiken Augusta Rennovations Inc

My first meeting with Nico was on a Monday. I was impressed with his knowledge and stated experience. He took detailed notes, measurements, spent over an hour discussing the job. I told him up front to let me know if he was too busy or, for any reason, could not get back to me promptly with an estimate; as I do not wish to waste his time or mine. He assured me he would have it by Wednesday. On Thursday afternoon, I called. He said he was busy and would call me that same evening. Nothing. On Friday afternoon, I called again. Not answering his phone, a recording stated his voicemail could not accept messages. I do not understand this way of doing business and would not trust him further with mine.

I first met Nico (the owner) at the Augusta Home Show as I was interested in Simonton windows. We set up an appt at the house and he was very corteous and knowledgeable about the product and installation and gave us an estimate and ordered the windows. He had all the equipment he needed at our house and was very careful about removing my old windows and saving them for me and he was really careful to keep both the inside and outside of the home neat and clean. His asst did the shutters and they look great. Probably the only negative I could say was he was slow but I was in no hurry and it took about a week to do 13 windows. I would rather have someone be slow and meticulous than fast and sloppy anyway. It does take awhile to bend flashing correctly and caulk . He measured everything twice and all the windows fit perfectly except one which was the factories fault (he gave them the right measurement) and he came back as soon as he had the correct replecement. I have recommended him to friends as well.

I contacted Aiken Augusta Renovations regarding remodeling work on my house. I chose the company based on their rating by the Better Business Bureau. My initial impression of Mr Gumus was favorable. He seemed knowledgeable and experienced in the type of work I needed done. I sent him some further information and we scheduled a time for him to visit the property. He didn't show up and didn't call to reschedule, only calling me after I e-mailed him asking if he was still interested. Though we rescheduled the site visit I decided that I was unwilling to proceed with Aiken Augusta Remodeling if this was how Mr Gumus started out with me.

It was great. We enjoyed working with Nico and would use his company again.
