There customer service was pretty good. And I will not use them a gain in the future.

Price increases twice in the past two months.

We experienced an ice storm that shut down our electrical service for about 40 hours. The alarm system was on battery for almost the complete time. Shortly following the return to service a signal was sent indicating trouble with the system. Actually it was that the battery had run down so low that it was not providing a connection. We received a call concerning the "alarm." I called back to inform them of the condition and we reset the system time and date via phone. The total contact time was about 5 minutes and the service was accurate and smooth. No problems.

The servicing of this alarm company, that is, the day to day monitoring is the most expensive in the business. I had them for years for smoke and security detectors with the service to call into the fire and police departments automatically. Once I found how much more expensive they were compared with any other company in the area, I cancelled my service. They had just received a payment and indicated that they would refund my money immediately. I cancelled in October and received the refund in February!! The service in general was ok, but my problem was that the monitoring was more than double the going rate.

The experience with them was fine. I had no problems. I think I paid them $400 or something, but then I got a rebate because there was some special offer going on for my complex. There were really no problems. The only issues I had were with the rebate. Another guy knew about it and so I got some bad information. The installer was supposed to give me a form or a check list. The rebate required a copy of the check list. I guess its proof of having the work done. The original guy had said that there was no form for me to fill out, and it turned out that there was. A form had to be filled out in time but for the actual work there was no problem. The work was fine. I really didn’t do any comparison with regard to price and so I don’t know if their price was okay or not. I will use their services again in the future if I need to.

I am using a local representative of them. It didn’t cost anything to set it up because the equipment was already in the house. All I had to pay for was the monthly fee and it is $26.99 monthly. They haven’t had to come back since they set it up. My experience with them was very good. The representative came over and we talked about what would be done. A few days later, the installer came. The alarm works fine and I have not had to get any repairs or anything like that done.
