First be aware that Mr. Hall who is the owner and sole employee does this part-time, but this fact was not disclosed upfront. Hall was given 5 uninterrupted weeks to do this job in an empty house. It took 3 months, which doubled our living cost. Hall came recommended through our realtor and home inspector. He started off strong and kept fading, at one point he pretty much had to be called almost daily to be asked if he was going over to the house to work, he would put in a couple of hours here and there through the week and put in about the same on weekends. He was more concerned to make it to the drag racing track as opposed to completing the work. As to his work it was horribly shoddy and sloppy. Everything involving plumbing has required other professionals to come in and correct. I had a bathroom mirror medicine cabinet that he installed that fell out of the wall a month after he "finished" his work. Come to find out he laid down nothing (e.g. Underlayment, CBU) between the subfloor and tile floor, so to say the least it is cracking and will require replacement. The stand up shower tile floor is not properly sloped towards the drain (only level thing he installed, but it was the only thing that was NOT supposed to be perfectly level) so water puddles instead so draining fully out at the end of your shower, all the tile work was eyeballed, which upon closer inspection does not give a uniform look and he got mudding grout everywhere including down the drain and failed to clean it up before it dried, causing drainage problems. Overall everything he did was horribly done and will need to be redone. 6000.00 down the drain, no pun intended. BEWARE he is a "nice guy" who will do bad work and never follow up, so don't be fooled. Take your money add a few more thousand and hire a real professional, not this part-timer with no real know how and/or expertise. Don't listen to Meybohm or Hargrove Inspections if they recommend him to you. Stay away or you will end up paying for work and materials twice. I know this review is 2 years late, so to those who might have hired him since. I just saw him last week driving a truck which was an upgrade from his prior truck and had his business name on the side. I could not believe he was still in business, so I became motivated to see if Angie had him listed and to write a review if she did. So here it is.
