I had Mr Simmons replace the unit after getting two other companies give me a price quote...He had the best price and I felt comfortable with his company.........So far , the system has been cooling great
Description of Work: My unit went out and a friend recommended Mr Simmons to come out and look at the air condition unit. He came out the same day and told me the 13 year old unit needed replacing because the compressor was bad and of the age too. Mr Simmons recommend a 15 seer unit so I could save on electric bill and I could get a rebate also.

I had my AC unit serviced less than a year ago by another company, so it seemed unusual that the unit would turn on, but only output warm air. I contacted Doug Simmons' HVAC and he promptly came out to my home within a few hours of the call. Mr. Simmons was very respectful of my home, using the doormats each time he entered my home and also offering to assist us after I mentioned that I had no idea where the AC filter was located. He walked us through the attic, removed the old filter and made sure we had the correct size to purchase a new filter and instructed us on the frequency of which to change them (I am a complete novice about such things). I was very grateful that Mr. Simmons took the care to show us how to care for the unit. Mr. Simmons found evidence of the not-so-competent work done by the company who serviced my unit less than a year ago. A completely loosened nut that allowed freon to leak was tightened and was done for no charge. Doug Simmons HVAC was pleasant, prompt, professional, courteous and very reasonably priced. I am very happy with the service I received from the company and will recommend to my friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: Charged air conditioning unit that output warm air with six lbs. of freon, checked AC unit, checked filter. Fixed a connection causing freon leak.
