Response from Zurn Plumbing Service Inc
I would like to start by saying how disappointed I am that we were not able to serve this client at the price he was expecting. I have personally reviewed the matter from his review on Angieslist, our work order, and discussed the issue with my technician that came to his home. I think there may have been a breakdown in communication between our technician and the client. We quoted 2 separate prices one price was to fix 3 freeze breaks and replace 2 valves and we told him it would likely take 2.5 to 3 hours and that price was $573 for his well system repairs. The Second price was for repairing a hot and cold water supply pipes that had sustained freeze damage that leads to his outdoor kitchen and pool shower and that would likely take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, that price was $368. The total job would take a minimum of 4 hours if all done the same day and more than likely it would’ve taken a little longer due to the complexity of the situation where some of the freeze damage had occurred. I am personally a little put off by the “F” in professionalism this client gave us; I understand he didn’t like the price but to give us low marks on professionalism because of that seems out of line. I would also like to say that I’m relieved that we didn’t do any work for this client being so familiar with his attorney’s fees. Respectfully, Matthew Zurn General Manager
