Greg and his team are the most professional, thorough, and fair appraisal my wife and I have run into in this industry, bar none ! I spoke to Greg on the phone last week and was able to schedule an appraisal for the following Monday. I met the appraisal at the property, who showed up 5 minutes early, and he was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The appraisal took about an hour to complete and within 3 business days I received the appraisal report from Greg and a detailed email summarizing the report. Within 5 minutes of receiving the email, Greg was courteous enough to call me personally to make sure that I received the report via email and to follow up on the experience as a whole. While I was on the phone, Greg was willing to answer any questions that I had and to go over the main points in the report. We requested a certified, professional appraiser via Angie's List. We spoke initially with Greg over the phone. He was very forthcoming and patient with my questions and how to approach the appeal process with Fulton County. Since I had been through this process with Fulton County in the past, Greg was able to fill in some of the issues I needed to resolve on this go around. During our phone discussion he quoted a price for the appraisal that I felt was fair based on previous appraisal fees. No sales pressure was applied. He indicated that when I was ready, just give his office a call or send an e-mail to set up the appointment. I contacted his office, they were very prompt with scheduling a date and time. Greg showed up at the appointed date and time ready to go. He did a detailed inspection of the house, lot and took plenty of pictures and asked questions as needed. As he was finishing up, he took the time to go through what independent appraisers had to master to be licensed and certified. I was very comfortable with his attention to detail. I received his completed appraisal at the end of the week. It was a 28 page document that was well done. Additionally, he provided bullet points to present at the BOE (Board of Equalization). If you are not familiar with the appeal process, it is the second appeal in a three-appeal program. The first appeal is almost always declined by the county. It is part of the County Assessor's twisted and convoluted roadblock to try to dissuade the taxpayer with challenging the outrageous assessment the county makes against your home. The second appeal allows you to go before a tribunal (with real people appointed by Superior court) called the ?Board of Equalization?. If you show up loaded for bear with solid documentation, you?ll win. Sorry, I went on a rage and tangent. Lastly, with Greg, it ?was worth every dollar?...to quote a phrase.

My words cannot express sufficiently enough on how glad I am that one of my neighbors recommended ?Worth Every Dollar Appraisals? to me. ?Worth Every Dollar Appraisals? did a formal property appraisal on my residential property as part of my DeKalb County tax assessment appeal. After appealing my case through to the ?Board of Equalization? the County did not lower my tax assessment sufficiently enough. As a result, and after conferring with Greg Wilkinson, I decided to continue my appeal to the DeKalb county court. Mr. Greg Wilkinson provided expert testimony on the true fair market value of my house. As an expert witness Greg was impressive, extremely effective, and very articulate. He was able to articulate to the jury what the fair market value of my property was and he was also able to effectively refute the county?s comparable properties as in fact not comparable to my property at all. The bottom line is that Greg is every bit a professional, experienced, and extremely knowledgeable about property values in the Atlanta area and presented a very effective expert testimony in court. I firmly believe that as a result of his testimony the jury found in my favor and lowered my tax assessment substantially, saving me money not only on my property taxes, but also in my attorney fees and other court fees which the county now has to incur. This is the second time we've used Worth Every Dollar Appraisals, and the second time we've been completely satisfied. Greg and his staff were responsive, punctual, easy to work with, and -- above all -- knowledgeable. They provided us not only the appraisal, but a detailed set of points / arguments we can opt to use as we make our appeal to DeKalb County for their inflated tax assessment. Prior to listing our home for sale in the Douglasville area we decided to evaluate its current value with shortage of housing inventory on the market and the upgrades since we purchased. I contacted Greg thru Angie's List on a Sunday and was surprised to hear from him that evening. He explained "Worth Every Dollar'" is one of the largest appraisal companies serving all of Atlanta and he had particular knowledge of the location of our home in Douglasville. Greg coordinated the day and time to accommodate everyone's schedule and assured the process would take little more than one hour. The 29 page report was completed and in my hands by end of that week!....The appraisal included many graphs and drawings of the land with drawings of the property layout and the size of rooms as well. The photographs were very good and the detail provided on the comp's was thorough and informative. \ An estimate was provided for our consideration as to listing value as well as market value. Well, there simply aren't enough words to describe the process / interaction with Greg. We have been on this "home renovation journey" for several months, and have spent a lot of money already - but no renovation work has started. Greg was very "informative" about our renovation plans, and whether those plans would yield a profitable ROI (should we decide to sell in the future). I would MOST definitely recommend Worth Every Dollar, and will use his services in the future.

Appraiser was on time, and very personable. He took pictures, measured rooms, and asked a lot of questions about upgrades, etc. performed on the property. We received our report a day later than promised, but it was very thorough. I would use this company again.

Mr. Wilkinson was very professional and knowledgeable about his field of work. He took time to explain the process as well as the results of his review of our home, and the sale of other homes in our neighborhood. There was one person and it took him/her a couple of hours. what stood out was that they had a good overall attitude and had good suggestions.

Karen was timely and worked with my schedule. The report was detailed and gave us a good idea of the price point to use when selling our house. I thought the fee was a bit high compared to what we paid when we did an initial appraisal before buying the house 5 years ago.

After submitting an inquiry, I was promptly contacted to schedule an appointment, and I was able to schedule an appointment very quickly. Greg showed up within 10 minutes of the scheduled time. He explained to me the appraisal process, and that he would provide a retrospective appraisal (as of December 2013), which is the appropriate appraisal for the purpose of determining 2014 property tax liability. He also provided me a lot of very helpful information about how the appeal process works. He did a thorough review of our property, and provided a detailed report, along with a "plain language" explanation in less than 3 days. He did the inspection on a Thursday, and provided the report that Sunday, so that I would have it in time for my appeal deadline on Monday. He also responded promptly to a question that I had. I would definitely recommend this provider, and will work with them again if I need another home appraisal in the future. They were amazing. For about 2 weeks, I spoke with the manager, Greg. He was really good at responding to my messages and promtly scheduling the work. When they initially came, my children were sick. He was very accomodating, and rearranged his schedule to return at a later date. Any questions I had very quickly and thoroghly answered. I thought it was great that the guy that came, Brandon, took all of the measurements by hand. He laid out very detailed drawings so that everything was very clear to me.

The gentleman that came out did an excellent job. We found him on Angie's List. The price was very competitive and he showed up promptly at the scheduled time.

This was a very good experience for us. We found Gary on Angie's List and agin we are not disappointed with the is service. He arrived early at the home, and my wife joined him after an hour or so into his inspection. He really concentrated on the safety issues and mechanical systems. He did great work in pointing out the things we need to know. We're somewhat experienced at home renovation and can get the domestic things done, but the details like cabinets attached with nails and not screws is important. He worked with us to expedite information to a roofing professional who we also found on Angie's List and we are able to proceed with the purchase. I can tell Gary and Megaera take pride in their business and follow through with great service.

Bottom line, We hired them to get a real an non biased appraisal and that is exactly what we got! They were awesome and we would use them again in a heartbeat and will refer them to friends and family.
