crew was efficient - 9 hours from start to finish - a few minor nicks and dents while moving but overall they paid attention to detail and were very cooperative. I got my money' worth and would use them again

Ernesto and his crew did a fabulous job! They arrived on time, and worked quickly and efficiently all day. All the furniture was wrapped to prevent scratches, and there was no damage to anything. Overall they were cheerful, polite, and professional. This is the second time I have used Truck and I, and I received the same excellent service as the first time. If you are moving, this is a great company to use!

The crew of 4 arrived 30 minutes early....not a problem, but a little surprised...better than arriving 30 min late. They somehow let themselves into a security building, and the first I knew they had arrived was when they actually knocked at my door on the 8th floor. I had most personal items and kitchen wares packed in boxes which they took out quickly. They wrapped the furniture and area rugs and took my bed apart quickly and efficiently. However, the wardrobe boxes that had been recommended and then reconfirmed a week in advance when I called to ensure everything was on schedule were no where to be seen and were not on the order according to the crew leader. So my hanging clothes were rolled up and wrapped rather than put in a wardrobe where they wouldn't be all wrinkled and squished together (which they were when they were unpacked at the new place.) This was not really a big deal, just not what had been recommended by Yolanda and ordered accordingly. They also carefully wrapped all of my pictures. They would not, however, bring my lamps because they said they were too fragile since I did not take out the extra protection insurance offered at the outset. (This caused me to make a couple extra trips myself back and forth to get them moved.) I was also advised to disassemble all of my computer equipment and transport that myself which I did. The crew worked quickly and arrived at the other location the same time I did. It was a rainy morning, but they put runners down on the hardwood floors and brought things in even while it was raining....except for a few minutes when it just poured. I had marked the boxes for location in the new place and was able to quickly direct them to the right place for ease of unpacking. In the end, they finished 30 minutes earlier than had been estimated, nothing was broken, and I haven't discovered any missing items. They were also careful not to bump walls or scratch things. They put my bed back together quickly. My move was not complicated and I had very few fragile items that they moved so I was very pleased overall. But I think I would caution anyone with lots of fragile items like lamps, chandeliers, fine china, etc to possibly at least review other options with companies who specialize in that type of move or insist on an onsite supervisor for the move. Except for having to make extra unexpected trips to finish transporting some fragile items, it all ended well for what they did do. If you know to ask all the right questions in advance you will be very pleased with this moving service. I would most likely use them again.

I contacted three movers and Truck and I were the most professional. I was especially appreciative of how they treated their employees. The move coordinator, Yolanda, who provided the estimate was accompanied by a male employee. I thought this was a great commitment to the safety and security of employees. The employees they hire are permanent employees and are not seasonal. They guarantee a certain number of hours to keep them employed. I feel that when a company cares about their employees, they also treat their customers well. On moving day, the moving team got a little lost and were an hour late, but since it was a short local move, there was no harm done and customers don't get charged until they show up at your door. The movers were extremely polite and took great care with all of our belongings. The day of the move, it poured down rain off and on, but that didn't stop them from completing the job as efficiently as possible. Everything arrived undamaged and we were very pleased with their service. We would definitely use them again.

Great! Alex and his crew, Eduardo and Roberto, did an excellent job! First of all this was on Memorial Day so we appreciate the fact they came out and not charging special rate like some other moves do. They arrived around 8:15AM instead of 8:00AM but they did call ahead to inform us so that was not a big deal at all. Upon arrival Alex greeted us and introduced his crew. He walked through the house with us to get an idea of the number of furnitures, etc. Established the charge / service rate, signed the paper, and they got right to work. They made the entire process easy for us. They are courteous, careful, and pay attention to detail. They laid down pads around to avoid walking on carpet and floor. Wrapped everything they possibly can with blankets. As we ourselves try to move some smaller items around, they offer to carry them to the truck for us whenever possible. There were times I wasn't sure what else to do... The off-load was as pleasant as the loading experience. What made it worse for them was the rain started to pour. I offered if they'd like to wait a few minutes, but Alex insisted they don't mind continuing. He repositioned the truck the ramp was closer to the front door. Again laid down more walking rugs all over the house to avoid messing up the floor. Their attitudes remain the same, professional and courteous, through out the process. Asked us where would we like our things, if we are sure, and continue to spend their effort to ensure we are happy with where things are. The entire process lasted about 6 hours. Minus 45 minutes for their lunch break and such. There's really nothing interesting to say as it was just a great experience. Thank you again, Alex and crew.

I chose Truck & I based on their excellent reviews on Angie's List. Yolanda was my moving coordinator, and I liked her too. I was a bit concerned because I never received confirmation of my move from her, nor did she follow up with me afterwards to find out how it went. But Eddy and his team arrived promptly at the start time 9:00 a.m. and were professional. They started out robustly, but I noticed some guys standing around and not working from time to time(a concern when paying by the hour). They had all things moved out in 3-1/2 hours, leaving our current home by 12:40 p.m. They did not show at our new home(3.1 miles away)though, until 2:20 p.m., yet credited us only 30 minutes for a lunch break. I stood at the truck to direct each item going into our new home and noticed that many guys would take only 1 small, light item(rather than 2 or 3)at a time to a room, as if they had been coached to do so to run up the time. Later that afternoon I was coming out of a bedroom just as 2 guys were carrying a large antique chest upstairs and watched them whack the chest against the wall of the stairs. When they saw me(and realized I had seen them do this)they said nothing. When Eddy told me they had finished(around 5:30)I asked him to check our treadmill that had what appeared to be paint scratched all over the front of it. He disappeared to check it out(I assume)and then reappeared at 5:55 to have me sign the paperwork showing a completion time of 6:00. It cost me $132 just to get him to check and clean what I believe was their damage to one of our pieces! Although the guys were friendly, responsive and professional, I was disappointed with their carelessness with those 2 items and lack of diligence that I interpreted to be an attempt to run up the bill. What they estimated to be a 7-hour move(possibly 6, Yolonda said)turned out to be 8-1/2 billed hours. They did have some trouble getting up our driveway(and had to swap trucks at one point), but Yolonda had seen both properties prior to the move, and I don't think that accounts for so much extra time. Later, I discovered that they lost a ladies' dress skirt during our move. It was packed, moved, and unpacked by Truck & I in their wardrobe boxes and, unfortunately, was the same color as the boxes (making it easy to miss in the bottom of a box). I initially asked that they look for it. They claimed they could not find it, so I field a claim for replacement of the skirt. They declined the claim on the basis that it was packed by owner. When I told them that was not true, they then denied the claim on the basis that they had looked for it and could not have lost it. We declined insurance on the move, so their liability was a maximum $300. I cannot believe they would give me such a hard time over such a small matter, especially on a $2300 move! I have been extremely disappointed in their complete lack of customer service.

They were professional every step of the way. They did a wonderful job packing and moving, nothing broke. They were extremely reasonable in price.

Professional. Fantastic. I would definitely refer and use them again. The service, starting from the beginning with the ladies in the office, was fantastic and very informative. I told them I found them on Angie's List and they honored the 5% coupon. The movers themselves, Ernesto and two other gentlemen, were five minutes early. Very prompt. Very efficient and very fast. They were really awesome. They got us completely moved in about four or five hours. They even did some additional things that weren't part of the move, with no questions asked. They were just wonderful. They're the best movers I've ever used, honestly, and I've been moving for a long time. I would absolutely use them in the future.

Movers arrived on time and were very professional. They sent one more man than expected and didn't charge extra. The took care with all the furniture and wrapped each piece. The movers loaded and unloaded very efficiently and placed each piece of furniture and box where instructed. I would definitely call them again.

It was a good experience. The staff that I spoke with on the phone was great at scheduling and calling me to confirm the date and time. The movers showed up on time and with plenty of people to have everything moved in a half of a day as they had promised. Nothing was scratched or broken.

THEY WERE TREMENDOUS throughout the entire move, and while they are on an hourly rate, I never once doubted that they were working at all times. It was a four hour job, just as they estimated, and they performed like champions. THANK YOU!

It went flawlessly. They were fast, professional, and very careful with my belongings. They didn't waste any time, worked very, very hard in the super hot sun. They wrapped all furnishings with the moving blankets to ensure no damage.

They helped pack everything up. They didn't break anything. I had a good experience with them. They were right on time and they were very easy to work with.

The price might have been more than others, but worth it. They were very professional and timely. They did quality work and took extra care with our furniture to make sure they didn't damage anything. They were especially careful on the new hardwood floors. They are the best moving company I have ever used.

Excellent service. They arrived on time and worked hard to move my belongings as quickly and safely as possible. They were very "gentle" with my belongings and protected the pieces that were too big to be boxed. They were extremely courteous when asking for/receiving my guidance on where to place the boxes and furniture. The pieces I needed assembled were done according to my specifications. They protected the hardwood floors and walls so that no damage occurred. They also removed all packing materials used to protect the larger pieces.

They were very careful with all of our furniture. Their truck was very neat and clean. I have recommended them to our daughter. They were excellent! They came early. They just picked up the items we had already packed.

The person performing the estimate was a pro, was sitting in front of my house 1 hour prior to appointment time so we started ahead of schedule! Quote was off only by 300 lbs. Booking was a breeze even right around the holidays. Company called to confirm. Crew showed up on time and worked cleanly and efficiently. Contacted within a couple of days of move with storage final price.

We used Truck and I when my husband moved his office furniture to our house and were very pleased. When my daughter had to move to SC. we called them and they do some long distance moves as well as local. We were very pleased with their professionalism. Angel and his crew showed up on time, removed the furniture quickly. They dismantled beds and were very careful not to mark any walls. The whole packing up only took a little over an hour. Then they drove to Greenville, unpacked and set up the beds, etc. at the new house. They called ahead of time so the person could meet them at the house and he said they did a great job at that end too. We know we are going to move in a couple of years and will definitely call on them again.

This move was to help my father move from an apartment to an assisted living complex nearby. He had about one room of furniture and some possessions. They took good care of everything so that nothing was damaged. They had come out the week before to assess the job so everything would go smoothly and it did.

When the crew arrived (on time),we did a quick walk through the house to note all items they were to move. They quickly got to work wrapping and loading items. Their speed and efficiency was amazing. I felt quite lazy standing there watching them! Once we got to the new place, I directed them to the correct rooms as they removed items off the truck. They covered my hardwood floor with a protective mat and never rolled or dragged anything on my floors. They were very friendly, and I would absolutely use them again. It was the best money I spent, and next time I would have them move everything.

The crew worked like gangbusters! Five men showed up instead of the quoted four, so the hourly rate was a little higher, but they moved so quickly that they came in under the estimated time frame. They showed up on time and went straight to work. This was Angel's truck and he was very easy to work with. Very responsive to our requests.

Overall, I was rather happy with this company. I got a discount for using an Angie's List coupon. They did bang into a few walls though and made a few scrapes in my new house. It also took them an awful long time to dismantle a very easy-to-dismantle desk I had. I wondered if they were trying to waste time to make more money. They were very punctual, however, and the items they packed were pristinely wrapped and boxed. They also did not appear to waste time aside from that one incident with the desk. I was impressed with their detailed wrapping and would use them again in the future.

I am happy to report this company greatly pleased me. They were very punctual, highly professional, and very accommodating. Furthermore, they were very careful with my items and I felt that I was treated like a valued customer at all times. I cannot exactly recall what we paid for their services but I want to say it was over $1000 but under $2000 and I thought that was quite reasonable.

The entire process from getting an estimate, to having cartons delivered, to actual move date went very smoothly. The team was courteous and neat and obviously had a great deal of experience. They took great care of our possessions. It was very difficult to get a truck to the house from which we were moving. The team graciously made some on the spot accommodations to avoid problems. I forgot to show my Angie's List coupon in the excitement of the move, so I emailed them later. The company promptly issued me a refund for 5% of the total cost of the move. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them very highly.

I am happy to report they are a top of the line company. They are punctual, thorough, and careful with your belongings. I would highly recommend their services to other locals because they were a hassle-free company.
