Truck and I

They moved everything but caused an unnecessary amount of damage to both the home we moved out of and to the home that we moved into. They scratched wood floors and damaged walls and even ceilings requiring me to hire painters to repair their damage in both homes. After causing damage, the crew was unreceptive to advice "to be more careful" and resorted to speaking amongst themselves in Spanish about my comments. If you hire them you need to be prepared to watch their every move, follow them through out the move process to make sure that you home and belongings are treated well.

They took longer than needed because they did not show up with the supplies they were suppose to. Only 1 of the 4 men spoke any English. But other than that all went well.

They were professional and courteous, provided an accurate estimate ahead of time, and took great care in protecting our property during the move. We will definitely use them for any future moves.

They were professional and courteous and for the most part did a great job. They slowed down a couple times during the day which felt like they were dragging their feet a little, but they packed the truck well and handled our stuff with care. I recommend them despite the slow-down because anyone would get a bit sluggish after doing a house move for 7 hours! Word to the wise - don't forget to ensure they take 1/2 hour for lunch (if they take one) from the hours they charge. I forgot until after they left and missed out on an extra $75. Overall, they're good value for the money.

Courteous on the telephone. Showed up at the job site on time and transported to new location. Nice and gentle with the new furniture and took their time bringing it in. Didn't rush the job.

Everything went very smoothly. No complaints.

Theey arrived on time, evaluateed the items to be moved, wrapped and disassembled a dining room table and breakfront loaded them on their truck and moved them to a friend's house. They did an excellent careful job in record time.

I had to rely on Angie's List because choosing a mover was scary. I chose Truck and I because of their good record. I had the silly notion that I could do a lot of the packing myself, but eventually I realized I needed more packing help than what I expected. Yolanda was my contact and arranged for packers to come on Monday. Due to verbal miscommunications, the packers left early that day, but I called Yolanda and she made sure packers came the next morning to finish the work. She really saved me because I underestimated how much work packing would be. Arrangements were satisfactorily made for payment since I would not arrive before the movers. On arrival, when I unpacked, I felt there was an excess of packing paper, but have to admit that must be why there was no breakage. While the thought of moving was rather traumatic, Yolanda just took care of everything. There was also good communication beetween the drivers and the landlord. Overall, the move was a good experience thanks to the efficiency of Truck and I, and their obvious efforts to give me the best service they could.

The great reviews are deserved - Truck and I is an excellent company, and you can trust them with your furniture and your house. Alex led his crew of four, and they showed up right on time for a 9 am start. They had us moved out of our old place in 3.5 hours. They made quick work of our ninety boxes; most of the time was spent covering the furniture with moving blankets and wrapping each piece - these guys are really thorough. They also disassembled our bed and covered our mattress (I provided the cover). Driving to the new place took a half hour, and then it was 2.5 hours moving us in. They also moved our flat screen and several mirrors and pieces of art, and didn't break a thing. We had just painted the walls in the new place, so I was very anxious about dings, but these guys totally had it under control, even when maneuvering several heavy/bulky pieces around the turn on the stairs. Since the move took most of the day, they stopped for a quick bite between houses, but automatically removed that half hour from our bill. Total for the 6 hours, including a $20 fee for all the wrap they used, was $983 (we tipped on top of this). They're not the rock bottom cheapest, but their prices are extremely competitive - I think they were the second-lowest of the six companies I called - and they do a really great job. Highly recommended.

They were very efficient and very pleasant to work with. Their price was very reasonable. I had labeled all the boxes with where the location in the where they needed to go, and they were able to work with that very well.

It was easy to arrange the move with one call. They showed up on time and handled the items with care. No damage was done to the furniture, walls or carpeting.

The two men who showed up from Truck and I (Ross and (please forgive me, I already forgot :-( )) did a phenomenal job with our move. They showed up 15 minutes early ready to get moving, they were extremely nice and professional, and then they took particular care when loading up all of the furniture by quickly wrapping up almost every single piece of furniture in a blanket and securing it with tape. They loaded everything onto the truck and tied everything down to ensure that nothing shifted during travel. They were amazing, and I would definitely use them again.

It went well. From the initial call to the completion of the move, all of Truck and i's personnel were friendly and helpful. Communication was excellent, and the company called/showed up precisely when they promised. The crew wasted no time while working, and did things in an efficient manner. The price was right given the level of service received. I would definitely use them again.

They charged me about $1200 for their services and it was an unusual thing. They were great.

At this point everything is in their storage unit, but I expect no problems with the move in a few months. I think the move from start to storage was about as easy of a move I have ever seen. We used them to move furniture out of storage and back into another apartment and once again they were perfect

Yoland responded promptly to my initial phone call regarding bids for my move. Unfortunately, Carlos was booked on the date that was personally optimal for me. However, he and Yolanda did some rescheduling and Carlos (company owner) PERSONALLY handled the move for me. He and his employees took great care to wrap everything meticulously. They wrapped and loaded my furnishings, etc. and were loaded within 2 hours. They arrived on time the next day to delivery my furniture to my new home. They did a wonderful job, were very professional, came in at the lowest bid, and were on time for both the loading and delivery. I was so pleased that I am going to schedule the move of the remainder of household items with them, as well. Would highly recommend this company.

They were good. They were reasonably priced and they did everything without any problem.

They are fabulous. They are more of a local moving company. They did a great job. We were very impressed. It was a long day. The only thing that all movers do is they are always under estimate. We think it is the nature of it because they really don't know the new house that they are going to. We will recommend them.

The move went perfectly. I arranged the move several weeks in advance. On the Friday before the move, they called to confirm. The movers showed up on time Sat morning. They wrapped all our furniture, lamps, etc.. in blankets. My Father-in-law has a daybed which was taken apart at the old apt. and they assembled at the new apt. They were quick and conscientious with our things. Also very professional and courteous. We had to use elevators at both assisted living facilities and they very polite to the other residients. We were charged by the hour (3.5 hours) as expected and the tape used to wrap the blankets was an extra charge ($7.50 per roll - charged for 2).

Overall great. Move was completed in one day, versus competitors who wanted to stretch it out to multiple days. Some last minute adjustments in pricing to add staff to ensure completion in one day

I normally do not take the time to write reviews, but these guys are worth it. As you know, moving can be a nightmare experience with the wrong moving company (been there). I have used Truck & I three times so I feel like I can give a credible review. Anita was my coordiator and she was so patient as I moved the date on her a few times. She knew how much I needed a certain date and called me the second there was a cancellation. She was so kind and professional. The movers came on time per usual. The foreman is always very professional. The crew works so hard especially with all of the stairs. I had to beg them to take a Gatorade....I mean these guys did not even want to stop. I will absolutely use them again (if I must go through yet another move). They are top notch.

They arrived 15 minutes early and were very friendly. Very efficient and fast but still careful with my belongings. Best experience I have ever had with movers. Would strongly recommend for local moves.

They were the best movers I've ever worked with. They were very careful with my things, worked super fast even though they were paid by the hour, and had great attitudes. The whole move took less time than estimated (but we moved some stuff over ourselves, too.) They put down floor protectors to protect our hardwood floors. Problems: I had been promised 6 wardrobe boxes for free, but their wires got crossed and they didn't have them ready for me. The lead guy went and bought some, and I wasn't charged for them. In terms of real complaints, there were a few minor scratches on my furniture (especially on the bottoms/backs) where they didn't blanket wrap them. If I move again soon, I'd request the entire piece of furniture be wrapped (which is what I was promised). This was only a problem for my love seat, which sits in the middle of the room and shows its back. Also, my step stool (valued at $15 or so) disappeared during the move. I called to ask about it, and they were going to check, but they never called back about it. I would have appreciated a call saying, "Sorry, we don't have it." I don't think it was deliberately stolen. Someone at the apartment complex could have seen it sitting around and helped themselves. The only other complaint I had was that I was promised all the workers would speak English well, but just with an accent. That was true of the owner of the truck, but not true of the workers. I'd recommend labeling both your boxes and your various rooms in Spanish if you can. In summary, though, these movers were great and we would recommend them to anyone. They blew away the other movers I've used before both in their attitude and their efforts. Normally, we feel ripped off, but this time we were pleasantly surprised when they were finished so quickly.
