Truck and I

Truck & I was a good company. I am glad to have found out about them through Angie's List. They made my move pretty stress-free. I would be happy to refer them to others.

Overall, we had a pretty good experience with this company. We did have a couple of items that got scratched and they put some scratches on our floors when they were carrying stuff in. For example, they did not take the beds apart when they were moving them out of the old house, so they got scratched up because they did not fix through the doors. The other items that got scratched were do to the fact that they did not wrap them properly. Once we brought the scratches and damaged items to their attention, they were very responsive and followed through very well. I would hire them again, but I would be more specific about what I wanted done in terms of transporting the items. The salesperson that I dealt with was very through and nice. She was very good in terms of customer service.

Yolanda, the sales person, came over on a day off (Saturday) to do the estimate. She was very professional and well organized including the use of a computer with specialized software and a portable printer to give you an immediate quote. The final invoice was exactly as quoted and even slightly under her quote for the second move. They called the day before to confirm and showed up at the allotted time. The move went very smoothly and they finished the whole move within the quoted time (within a quarter hour!). They were very helpful, didn't break anything and used all the normal moving precautions. They were so courteous and friendly that I felt compelled to buy them lunch. They were also 25% cheaper than other quotes with the same level of service and insurance coverage. Well worth it! I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent job. The men arrived on time. They were professional, hard working, and courteous. There was no charge for travel time and the 2 hour minimum was perfect for my situation.

My scheduled time was 1-3pm. They were supposed to call me before they came. They showed up before 12:25pm without calling in advance. And they called my 2nd contact # instead of my first contact#. I hurried home after I got their call. I arrived at 12:55pm. When they moved our stuff, they did not wrap some of the furniture and broke a few plastic boxes. The damage is <$300, so it?s a moot point to tell them. My driveway is narrow. It took them 25 mins to park their truck on my driveway. When they gave me the bill, I found out that they started the clock (12:45pm) before I arrived. They also included the time when they stopped and filled up the gas. When I told the guy that the time is not fair, he said that he waited for 30 mins, and it JUST took 5 mins to put on gas (I doubted that), and he said taking 25 mins to park the truck on the drive way actually ?saved? my time (I doubted that). At the end, he did not even wait for his tips.

Truck and I did a fantastic job!! I called and was able to get same day, in-person estimate from Yolanda. They confirmed the move twice ahead of the actual date. We packed all our own boxes. The crew of Alberto, Claudio and Maria showed up on schedule the day of the move. They were very careful with everything. All furniture was padded and wrapped before it was moved on to the truck. Communication was excellent throughout. The crew also did a great job getting the furniture into the new house. There was no damage to our household goods or to either house. Floors were protected with construction paper in new house. Only negative - I was quoted a crew of four but only three were made available. The hourly rate was reduced appropriately prior to work starting. Highly recommend Alberto and his crew!!

When I called to set up the date/time for the estimate, I was very impressed with the customer service representative. She went ahead and confirmed a "tentative" move date, understanding that I needed to move within a week. Yolanda called ahead to confirm. the ''estimate'' appointment and arrived right on time. She was very professional and very good at explaining the benefits of using her company and what to expect on moving day. Her automated paper work, printed right on the spot, was very impressive.

I have moved to five states and two countries and I'm hard-pressed to think of a move that went any more smoothly than the one I did with Truck and I. Richardo Silva and his crew were fast, professional and very hard working. Every piece of furniture was wrapped and sealed before it left my home. There was no damage to any furniture, boxes, walls, floors or any area of either house. A slight difference between my original quote and the actual cost was resolved quickly and efficiently. I would use this company again and strongly recommend them to others.

The best movers I've ever worked with. They were neat, friendly and polite, and extremely careful with our belongings. The crew of about nine men showed up on Saturday morning and had our 3,700 square foot offices emptied in about four hours. They did this with no freight elevator and access to just one of the building's three regular passenger elevators. Amazingly efficient. Moving into our new space took under three hours. No damages. No frayed nerves. Very, very professional. I wish I had known about them when I did my last personal move.

Great experience! The movers moved me and my girlfriend from Athens, GA to Atlanta, GA. They are extremely professional, courteous, and competent. They were able to load up my entire apartment - including a heavy couch and a heavy bed - in about 20 minutes, and offloading was almost as fast! Nothing was lost and nothing was broken! Highly recommended.

The movers were great! They arrived early both days and came in very well below their estimated time. Eddy was the foreman and worked with a great crew. I would recommend this company and absolutely use them again. Worth every penny.

The men with the truck arrived within the window they provided, 9:00 to 9:30. They loaded up the items in the storage unit, picked up additional items at a second address and delivered them to my son's new residence. They also brought some items back to the additional address. They were prompt, professional, courteous, and worked quickly. They did a great job and I would call them again when needed. I was called by the owner on the Thursday prior to the work, confirming the appointment, which was reassuring. I was given the 5% discount for mentioning I found them on Angie's List.

Overall, I am very satisfied with thte work performed and would call them again. It is very challenging to carry several heavy items upstairs in a townhouse. One concern was that they had a client booked after me and were in an obvious rush to complete the job. They did assemble the bed in the Master as well as attach doors to an armoir however they seemed surprised they had to do this (although it was arranged ahead)and they were obviously anxious to go to the next client and finish for the day. Perhaps they should not have been so overbooked.

A classy operation. 4 polite, professional, and uniformed men promptly arrived at 9:15 and carefully and efficiently packed their truck and moved us into our new location. Minimal to no damage. Just a few comments: Angel, our foreman, has an ownership stake in the company. In fact, his face is all over company collateral material, including the side of the truck. Clearly, he has an interest in maintaining the sterling reputation this company has developed in Atlanta. They are a bit pricey, but well, well worth it. My wife and I are very pleased.

Other major problem: They didn't use a hand truck, so dozens of owner-packed boxes, mostly holding books had to be manually carried up and down stairs, one or two at a time. A hand truck would have allowed three or four boxes to be moved at once. This greatly increased the time spent, and thus greatly increased the cost. The Angie's List discount was nice. The workers were polite, accommodating and hard-working. Overall, I was disappointed with this experience.

Movers were on time, worked extremely efficiently and wrapped and packed all furniture very well. Nothing was scratched or broken. They all spoke passable English and were friendly and helpful. They didn't move any of our plants, which I thought was odd. I just moved these myself, rather than asking them about it. If you have plants you need them to move, you may want to specifically ask about this when you call. Also, if you choose to purchase insurance, they charge a minimum per room. I would rather have insured for a lesser amount, but they didn't allow this. I forgot to mention the Angie's List 5% discount on the day of the move, but I called back afterward and they cut me a check that day without any hassle.

I was planning on using hired help from emove to get two helpers and rent a truck on my own. Called Truck and I, and they recommended 4 men for 5/1/2 hour estimate. After figuring that it was worth it to spend the extra money for less stress and work on my part. It actually became out to be the same price if I were to rent the truck on my own and hire to men to help me for five hours. Above that it only took the men 3/1/2 hours to complete the whole move. Offered 3 different insurance plans before work was started. Its too bad I didn't know of this company for the past 7 moves I have already completed over time.

Given that moving is NOT fun, my experience was terrific! The estimator gave me a bid that turned out to be a little bit high and that was a little more than I expected. However, the moving team arrived on time, they were very professional and everyone introduced themselves. They worked very hard and consistently through the day. The guys took care of my things as if they were moving their own family prized possessions. They were completed with the whole job about 2 hours earlier than I expected. They were great to work with and seemed to enjoy their work and each other! I enjoyed the whole experience. I will hire them again to move me from storage into my new home.

They were courteous and professional and did not damage any furniture. They send enough men to do the job efficiently. They came out and gave an accurate estimate beforehand.

I GOT THIS NAME FROM ANGIE'S LIST FOR MY HUSBAND, AND HE WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE JOB ANGEL ITURBE AND HIS MEN DID. THEY WERE ON TIME, CAREFUL WITH THE FURNITURE, AND VERY COOPERATIVE WHEN WE ASKED THEM TO TRY SOME DIFFERENT ARRANGEMENTS OF THE FURNITURE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

THEY WERE ON-TIME, FAST, EFFICIENT, FRIENDLY, AND EXTREMELY CAREFUL WITH EVERYTHING. THEY TOOK TIME TO PLACE THINGS WHERE WE WANTED THEM, AND MOVED THINGS WHEN WE CHANGED OUR MIND. I COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER MOVING EXPERIENCE.

I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH A MOVER AS ORGANIZED AS THEY WERE. THE CREW SEEMED VERY PROUD OF WHAT THEY DO.

EDDIE GAYTAN (FOREMAN) AND THE TRUCK'NI CREW PERFORMED SUPERBLY. OUR MOVE WAS COMPLEX, WITH OUR HOUSEHOLD GOODS GOING TO TWO SEPARATE LOCATIONS (AN APARTMENT AND SELF-STORAGE), AND WE HAD COMPLICATED PIECES OF EQUIPMENT (TREADMILL, MULTI-STATION WEIGHT MACHINE, LARGE ENTERTAINMENT CENTER). THEY HANDLED EVERYTHING VERY WELL. THEY WERE BOTH CAREFUL AND FAST, AND CAME IN HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS BELOW THEIR ESTIMATE (AND THEIR ESTIMATE WAS IN LINE WITH OTHER TOP-RATED MOVERS). WE WILL BE MOVING AGAIN IN A FEW MONTHS, AND WE WILL USE TRUCK'NI AGAIN.
