I called her to come in and get my house organized prior to my marriage. I needed her to help clean and organize so my future husband could move in. She didn't quote me a price at the beginning and gave me a range of $500-600. On the second day, she asked if they could come back and finish because there were odds and ends that were not finished and I had paid her the $600 (top of the range). I agreed because she was offering and assumed this $600 covered the odds and ends. She had three people come out and help with cleaning. She actually sent me out to buy all of the cleaning supplies. I would think, her being in the cleaning business, she would bring her own containers, cleaning supplies, etc. I have never had someone do cleaning for me so I was a bit taken aback. Within the organization of things, I had trouble finding items for months because I wasn't sure where she put them. I would suggest asking her to label or create a key for where items may be. A few times, we had trouble getting a hold of each other, more or less phone tag. We had made one appointment, but I had to go into work. She also works out of town sometimes so it was difficult to get a mutually convenient day. When we would talk about her coming back out to finish some things, she didn't really seem to remember what needed to be finished. I had another issue with my icemaker breaking and flooding my kitchen. I was going to have her come back out to put the utensils back in the cabinets, but had to do it myself. I didn't want her to come for additional work because she was being so unresponsive about the odds and ends she was to finish.
