+ -1 moreThe technical people were ok but the management were totally oblivious to our problems. They had their money and that was all they cared about. When speaking with the owner of the company (CEO) it was like talking to a used car salesman. He would tell you anything he thought you wanted to hear. Once the equipment was installed he kept insisting he told us stuff before we purchased it that he never told us. Likewise he omitted facts about the equipment shortcomings, which we had to find out after we purchased it. We also ran into a problem which he told us there was no solution for which we fixed ourselves after reading the owners' manual.
Description of Work: Before purchasing the security system from SYstem5 we met with the CEO and the sales representative. The system was installed in March. We were told that the cameras were adequate to take quality pictures at night. They are not. We have had installation issues that they would not even acknowledge as a possibility. Today a gentleman from their service department shows up and said that the cable connectors were not installed correctly. It took almost three months to get this far. We are not expecting any money back on the product. One of the things that steered me toward System5 was their A+ rating with BBB. Judging by our experience that is a rating that is undeserved. The management told us, after they sold us the system that we needed a static IP address. This would be far too expensive for our small community. After researching the manual ourselves we found that there is another way and we didn't need a static IP. This is probably the worst example of "customer service" I have ever experienced. I am sending this to BBB so it is a wake-up call. They need to be a lot more customer oriented than they are.
