After assuring us the job would take no longer than four weeks, the job was not completed on time. There was zero communication from the two workers assigned to our job. Finally, around week six, and calls to corporate, the two workers make contact with us about the delays. First off, they told me we hadn't even reached four weeks from the start of the contract (they had mistaken me for someone else). They finally realize that I am about to hit seven weeks from the start of the contract and zero work has been done. I ask for my money back (I had initially paid them the entire estimate check the insurance had provided me). They finally begin moving on the work, supplies are dropped off and the work is completed in one day; great right? Nope. At the time I made the first payment, which again was the entire estimate check, I owed them a balance of approximately $640(to be paid by the insurance). Even with this balance remaining, they would owe me $40 when all said and done. When the workers came for me so sign the final invoice and have the final balance paid, they show up with an invoice reflecting a balance of $1300. This turns into a long, drawn out discussion about how it is possible I owe them that much when I have paperwork showing I only owe them $640. After not being able to explain it themselves, they call their office in search of this explanation. Turns out, the main office says I do owe this money and I shouldn't worry about it because the insurance will still pay depreciation. It doesn't matter if it was a legitimate debt or not, I have paperwork from the company reflecting a certain dollar amount and even return money coming to me. If that is not the accurate numbers, they should be up front with people, not hit them with hidden charges at the very end without the customer expecting it. Well, I paid the balance with the assurance that they would be submitting the final invoice and a letter of completion to the insurance company so they could release the depreciation funds. More than a month later, Storm Team Construction had still not submitted said paperwork to the insurance company. They were the third company we interviewed to fix our roof and they convinced us they were the best. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT A COMPETITIVE PRICE AND A JOB DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER.
