Shade Tree Audio Video

I ordered a network installation last June. A single power supply was delayed until Oct, then Nov, Dec, and now I’m having trouble getting a response. I’ve already paid $7000 down on a 10k project. I’d like to get this thing completed or I’d like a refund. I’ve emailed asking for status continuously to Corey and am not getting any response now. I’ll update this review if I ever get any response or resolution to this.

Ari Newnan is very professional and did an outstanding job on installing a whole new system for us. We were very fortunate to find him and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

Ari was great! We talked over the phone, and he know exactly what I wanted. He gave me a quote within my limited budget. We set an appointment, and he was punctual. He came by in two weeks to follow up. it was a pleasure working with him.

A great experience! I contacted Ari to properly install a new 60" TV we were planning to purchase. After many discussions and price shopping (including Costco and HH Gregg) we purchased the TV through Ari as well. This was a true one-stop shopping experience. Ari was patient with all of my questions and willing to do whatever I needed. He even came out and met with an electrician ahead of time to coordinate the wiring. On the day of install, Ari showed up promptly as scheduled, with the TV. He moved the old set and all related cables and recorders to the basement, installed the TV on a wall mount, connected it to the cable box, and calibrated it. His advice and workmanship were well worth the price, which I thought was very reasonable. If we were going to invest in a HD TV and HD signal, hiring Ari to install and calibrate it was the best decision we made in the process.

Shade Tree (Ari) was extremely professional and knowledgable. He evaluated the requested audio/video situation and supplied a responsive detailed quote outlining the scope of the work. Once we the work started, he and his team was punctual and professional at all times. Once the setup was complete, including Audyssey MultEQ and several firmware updates, Ari guided me through the GUI for all the related equipment and related activities - thoroughly professional. Ari and Zach arrived right on time, got to work right away, and patiently explained every step they were doing, and why. They took the time to thoroughly test each component. As a person who has set up stereo systems before, I was very impressed with their knowledge and efficiency, and they were personable and polite as well.

Shade Tree (Ari) was extremely professional and knowledgable. He showed up on time and took his time in assessing my needs/wants and promptly delivered me an itemized quote. He walked me through a couple of options and even suggested a less expensive alternative for my infared since I wasn't going to be using it for more than a tv and blu ray player. He was very prompt in replying to my many quote revisions and requests (I kept changing my mind about how much I wanted to do at this time). I never once felt like he was trying to "upsell me". When the install date arrived Ari showed up on time. He and his team were very considerate, clean and professional. Ari got to working on the family room while his team worked on the basement. They took great care to limit the number of drywall cuts necessary for wiring the basement rooms and in the end they left the basement just like they found it. The two drywall cuts that were made were done clean and are an easy patch job. As for the family room, the electrician I contracted with to move my outlet wanted to charge me an additional $190 to drop the cable/coaxle with the electrical. They were literally next to each other. I asked Ari about the cost and he simply told me he would happily splice and drop the coaxle and not to pay the extra money to the electrician (Next time I will contact the electrician referred by Ari). As for the actual install and wiring in the family room, my wife and I couldn't be happier. it looks amazing and there is no evidence that any cuts were ever made. It looks like the house was designed with all the necessary power and wirepaths etc. in mind. As for the cabinet and hidden components, Ari made sure to leave extra HDMI cables available in case we decide to add more components, etc. he really thought of everything and it looks great. As for the ISF Video callibration... it truly works and you can absolutely see the difference. I will be wiring the rest of my house (inside and out) for sound after the new year and then will eventually finish the media room, I will absolutely be using Shade Tree for these jobs. Ari and his team clearly take pride in the work they do and it makes me happy to be able to give back by writing this review and rating their work product.

The owner/operator is knowledgeable, professional and shows up when he agrees to or calls ahead (lives by your clock not his). He provided good advice and did not focus on how extensive and expensive he could make the system but how simple and appropriate for my needs.

He was here on time and completed the project in a timely manor.
