RS Andrews

The plumber arrived on time and investigated the possible problem I had been told about by a company installing a vapor barrier in the crawl space. He did an investigation and had me turn on water inside house to look for leaks below. I told him of a recent AC repair issue where water may have gotten into crawl space and the plumber seeing no leakage determined the recent repair was what left the moisture in the crawl space. I was completely satisfied with this service. I will use RS Andrews again for plumbing services. This is at least my third time using them for various issues.o

Shocked and disappointed. Tech arrived 3 hours late. Diagnosed it was the compressor. He acted like he won the lottery. When I showed him our 10 year warranty on parts he said it wasn't valid.

They did a good job, showed up on time, and didn't make a mess. I'm just no comfortable about the pricing.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I'm not sure how anybody given the following evidence would NOT feel RS Andrews had attempted to defraud them: I had a maintenance contract with RS Andrews. The administrative people did a great job scheduling and are always friendly. The technicians almost always try to sell me new units when they came to do maintenance. I do have old units, so I wasn't too upset about that. Finally, after the last visit, my upstairs unit was not cooling. My technician said my system needed 3 to 4 pounds of coolant, a chemical clean of both condenser coils and a new capacitor (so approx $881 from his suggested maintenance quote). I decided to buy new units, and I contacted other providers for comparison quotes. The first provider who looked at my system said I did not need new units and repaired my upstairs unit simply by cleaning it with a water hose (which the RS Andrews technician should have done as part of the maintenance contract) and adding a pound of coolant. Because it was a sales call, the total cost including coolant was $120, and that unit is cooling great now. Obviously, I won't be doing business with RS Andrews again.

It went good. We had to call him back because the AC was not working but he came right away to fixed it and it is now working.

1. They kept me informed from estimate to install. Even telling me why they did not recommend the furnace that would make my 14.5 SEER 3 Ton a 16 SEER. It was unreliable, while competitors would not disclose this. 2. They let me know when they were coming, and they were on time. 3. They were thorough and professional. And made sure that I understood how to use the new thermostats. 4. THEY DID NOT BAD MOUTH THE COMPETITION! I received estimates from 4 different installers. All of them bad mouthed the competition except RS Andrews. My only complaint is I had to remind the service consultant to email me the proposal.

Brandon did a great job fixing our AC. They came out same day I called. Fixed the AC quickly, told me exactly what they were doing and how much it would be. I highly recommend.

They provided the service that we requested and more. We have been using them for the past 3 years. They are honest in letting us know what proactive measures we can take to extend the life of our units.

The tech was on time and very professional. I work from home so he was very respectful of this fact. He ran a diagnostic $350 then couldn’t find the problem so he told me a more extensive one was needed. This would cost $550. He cancelled the charge for the first one and only charged for the second one. That was nice. After hours of trying the tech told me he couldn’t find the problem but could bypass everything and create a new pathway. This would bring my total to $1600 and there would be wall damage that is not going to be covered. I declined bc the problem was not found, there would be damage that I’d have to get someone else to fix and the solution offer would be a bandaid on the problem.

Our sub-basement was flooded after one of the recent storms. The person who came to our house did not own rubber boots, so he could not access any of the appliances in the sub-basement. We hired another plumber to remove the water and replace the sump pump.

They charged $331 just for labor. I had a $50 coupon that they honored so I paid $261.00 for an hour of work just to install an already supplied kitchen faucet. I thought it was just excessive.

We had recessed lighting canisters reconnected, and about two months later, a couple went out. The warranty had passed, so I was braced to have to push for some sort of discount. However, the person I spoke with said there would be no charge to come out and re-do the job. They came out as scheduled, made the fix and charged nothing. I was pleased for the willingness to get the job done right.

Real well. They did a great job. There was 1 one error though, they put in the amount that I owe to them incorrectly.

Very well...Tony Hampton was very professional; he gave me a quick "teach-in" about my dirty filters. I will now change my filters every three months <: My unit had a detail that's not to code, so will have to get it fixed. Worth the price to make sure everything is ready for the summer season.

Technician came out and checked thins out suggesting that it either needed a cleaning and adjustment or might be more major. Tried the simple option first and it worked perfectly. He did caution that the system is old and I should start planning on replacing it, but there was no pressure to do so right away. The guy explained everything very thoroughly and was very professional and pleasant.

The work was completed in about one hour and was done well. The price was far above average at $542.00 for the Watts regulator installed into a home. Very expensive and far above average, with averages in this area around $320.00. The fee to visit was $59.00, so you'll not want to send them away and pay for nothing. They wouldn't give a price before the visit, even though we knew that the pressure regulator needed replacing.

Sewer line was cleared, water heater replaced and at the same time an estimate was given to replace the sewer line.

We contacted RS Andrews to come out and give us a quote on a replacement for our HVAC system. The salesman we worked with, Tommy, arrived earlier than we expected but he did call in advance. He was experienced and knowledgeable though he did not answer some of the technical questions we asked. He made some negative comments about some manufacturers equipment and recommended the company that they are a distributor for. He prepared the quote while we looked over the information on the system he was recommending. We did not feel the reviews found on our subsequent research of that system were very good. The price quoted was also much more than we wanted to spend.

The technician came out on time. He was polite and professional. After some work, he figured out what was going on and fixed it. I was very satisfied.
