Description of Work: I used their plumbing service. I had a leak that went into the basement ceiling. The plumber found the source of the leak and fixed it. He explained what he was doing and gave me choices of how much to repair. He did not oversell. I had no problem since.

Description of Work: Found the leak coming from the refrigerator, did not fix...only turned the water off. Then spent 2 minutes to clean out a sink drain... Actual work time, MAYBE 10 minutes... costs $130. High in my opinion!

Response from RS Andrews
Thank you for your response. We never like seeing a "F", but it always gives us insight to how customers feel and can always help our company improve. We have spoken with this customer and reviewed everything from the plumber that quoted the services. The Plumbing Manager called to walk through the work to explain everything in more detail. In this instance the customer was not happy with a quote that he received from the plumber for the specific job, and because the plumber didn't have more dialogue around the quote and pricing when he was on site. Below was everything on the job that we quoted and we stand behind our pricing for the estimate. Instead of using copper we used CSS pip and we had to sleeve it - these add additional costs. 20 ft of gas line Use Corrugated Stainless Steel (CSS) pipe Pipe had to be sleeved to protect from lawn equipment or anything else. Had to break meter connection and install a tee. Had to run gas line up to deck and penetrate deck to a location that was yet to be determined - (up to another 10 feet of pipe). The plumber that quoted this could have taken more time to explain everything in more detail. In these situations in the customer is unhappy or questions a quote, we recommend calling into our main office to speak with a manager. Either a manager for the specific department, the General Manager, and/or the President. In most instances, these scenarios can be taken care of with a phone call, conversation and more detailed explanation. We are committed to providing excellent service to our customers and always welcome feedback and inquiries.
