Description of Work: They were one of four contractors (all from Angie's list) that gave me an estimate. I would have been comfortable using them but they were 20% higher than the contractor I did use.

Description of Work: My husband and I are completely thrilled. We called Rocco Tile Sunday afternoon and left a message regarding our need for a price estimate for a tile backsplash. Fil responded that evening and said he would come by the next morning between 8-9am and provide an estimate. He stated that If we agreed upon a price they would start the work immediately since I had previously purchased all materials. He was punctual and quoted what my research had shown to be a fair price. They completed the work in the same day. We are thrilled with the results. I would highly recommend Roco Tile. True Italian Craftsmanship.

Description of Work: received an estimate for master bathroom retile to include shower. Still hope to use this company in the future, just have to budget it out. Company returned all my calls and drove a 2 hour round trip to provide estimate. Honestly, a little out of price range, but the quality of work appears to be superior

Description of Work: I met with Fil and his crew back in March. He was one of 4 that i received bids from, and i selected Fil because of his experience in laying tile, remodeling bathrooms, installing toilets and vanities, etc. His price was very fair, and out of all the bids, he was the only one that suggested going to Floor and Decor for our tile - their prices can't be beat - most excellent idea! we purchased a foreclosure which need significant updating to the bathrooms. In all, we removed and re-tiled 7 bathrooms, including the master. Fil was knowledge and easy to work with -his team was hard working, and very detail oriented - the suggestions for tile were very helpful, and the suggestion to use Floor and Decor saved us a lot of money and time. I would not hesitate to recommend Fil and his crew at Roca Tile to anyone! They do excellent work. With any remodeling jobs, there are always small delays - be honest with yourself - Fil was always communicating with us, and the small delays we had were not an issue.

Description of Work: Joined Angie's List because I need my master bath tiled. Called Fil Catalano on Monday and e-mailed him my address and phone number. He said they did work in my area and he would call to set up an appt. Well it is Thursday morning and he has never contacted me again. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They should have a secretary to see schedules and make appts if he can't do it. I called 3 other tilers after him and they all have been here either the same day or the next day. Must say I am ,shocked since his rating was very good. Again a courtesy call would have been very nice.

Description of Work: I am an Atlanta real estate agent and specialize in managing the on site sales of new homes. I have extensive experience dealing with contractors and sub-contractors in all aspects of construction and build out. My wife and I decided to update our own home and replace our dated tile countertops with quartz countertops. At the time we planned to keep our backsplash in place as it would match the new counters and save money. After the countertop installation was complete, I consulted Angies’ List to begin the search for a tile person to address the clean up and repair of the existing back splash. As always, Angies’ list had several highly recommended companies. With 3 year old twins at home, I really didn’t want to arrange multiple quotes by different companies and I wanted to get it right the first time with minimal interference in our daily activities. After careful study, I chose Rocca Tile with a very good service record and great comments. I called the number shown and was pleased that it turned out to be the direct cell phone number of the Vice President, Fil Catalano, who made arrangements to meet with me at 8:00AM in the morning. After a very polite and courteous visit, I was pleasantly surprised when he gave us recommended options for addressing our backsplash repair for a minimal cost. I found this unusual because I expected a hard sell on a complete tear out and install of a new backsplash. His demeanor and non rushed professional advice was a breath of fresh air. My wife and I were given the immediate impression that not only would he be the best for the job, but that in using him we would be completely assured of a high quality job, a reasonable price, accountability every step of the way and the rare opportunity of having a conscientious and competent team working in our house. We were so pleased with all of the above as well as his pricing, that we decided that we could afford to choose a backsplash of our dreams and have him install it. We showed him a picture of a backsplash we liked and he immediately recognized it and recommended an excellent tile store which we visited to pick out our tumbled noche marble 4X4 tiles and grout. He picked up the material and arrived at 9:00AM in the morning to complete the installation, only to find that our existing tiles had been mounted on drywall and could not be separated from the wall board. He immediately got in his truck and went to the nearest supply store and purchased new backer board. He and his two man crew stayed from 9:00AM until 8:30PM tearing the tiles and drywall out back to the studs and installing new wall board and our new tile. They returned for several hours the next day to finish the job. I stayed the entire time and I can tell you that they couldn’t have done a better job or made us more happy. It’s beautiful! The entire labor cost was $625.00. I had printed a coupon from Angies’ list for $40 off but I was so pleased with everything that I was embarrassed to use it even though Fil offered to honor the discount. I told Fil to consider it a bonus for a job well done. I am writing this because I hope that many people choose to use Rocca Tile. They deserve all the business they can handle and customers deserve the kind of service they can deliver.
