From the narrative I described above, I continue the story, but this time we are the seller and not the buyer. We called Robert and told him we've got a second home that we want to sell. It's no secret that the selling side of the market is a little weak in the knees right now and we asked Robert, what can we do to make this house stand out and say, "buy me." Robert spent several hours with us, his knowledge, openness and general likeability working in tandem and resulting in a list of must do's, should do's and could do's all of which are valid and none of which are going to break the bank. The house will be going on sale in two weeks and I know we can count on Robert Gleadall to watch over us and help to make the deal a good one for us, for the buyer and for himself. I want to thank Angie's List for offering homeowners a trustworthy platform to share with each other when we find reliable, dependable and honorable services and vendors to commend.
Description of Work: Robert Gleadall is a pest. He just can't stop being helpful. Perhaps it's just his nature. So, maybe he's not really a pest, but instead, the Real Estate agent of our dreams. We looked at some houses in Roswell last year that we really liked. Then Robert showed us everything we hadn't noticed. The prices seemed right to us. Then Robert's sharp pencil and eagle eye informed us what lay ahead, after the closing, if we went with the price we thought acceptable. It probably cost him a bit of commission by being straightfoward but in the end, he sat with us, went over the pros and cons, offered his opinion on a realistic price that we should counter and Shazam, done deal. He could have walked away and considered us just another client, but even a year later he has stayed in touch wanting to make sure we were content. If you want a Real Estate agent who is also your advocate, Robert Gleadall is your man.
