I replaced a hose for drain for the condensation pan of the air conditioner. They also installed a new PVC elbow peice. They were professional and completed the work promptly.

They were efficient and they seemed very knowledgeable. They were just very cooperative. I don't know how competitive their prices are but we were concerned about quality of work because we have an old house.

Outrageously Overpriced! I was charged what amounts to $250/hr. for simple repairs that were easy to get to and easy to solve. A new tenant that had just moved into my rental and begged me to fix the problem ASAP for a dinner party. I called A rated plumbers on Angie's List, explained that this WAS NOT an emergency and worked until I could find one that could fit me in same day...I wish I had waited. I feel very taken advantage of. I called the office manager to discuss, it did me no good.

It went very well, with prompt and professional service. The task was completed within two days!

Their estimate was beyond outrageous. We did not move forward with service. The only positive with Plumb Works is that they were responsive. They were able to schedule quickly and did show up when they said they would.

I needed a plumber to replace a supply hose underneath the bathroom sink. I ordered the replacement part from Moen, and I have been calling around to get estimates regarding the labor cost. When I called Plumbworks, the person I spoke to said he would not provide pricing over the phone. He also said that if the plumber came out, I would be charged $69 whether I used them or not. I asked for an estimate or range, and he refused. I explained that I just needed a ball park figure because if the plumber came out and gave me a figure that was too high, then I would have to pay the $69 for no work. He stil refused. I asked if I could speak to the plumber, himself, to see if he could give me a range. The guy said no. This seemed very odd because the job was so discrete (and I had no problem with a disclaimer saying that if there were additional problems, the cost would be higher). Why would a company be so scared of providing a good faith estimate over the phone?

The experience wasn't bad. He got up there and tried to fix the problem, but it didn't end up being fixed in the end. I didn't call them back because I didn't want to pay an hourly rate for them to look around for the problem.

The process went very smoothly. We received the estimate and the water heater was installed the next day.

Very well. Unfortunately, Eric wasn't able to correct the problem. However, I was very impressed with his patience, and willingness to essentially educate me on all possibilities and try multiple tests to determine whether the leak was piping, or otherwise. He was great to work with, and left me with little doubt that had the problem been within his range of expertise to correct, he would have done a solid job.

PlumbWorks was the second company who bid on my sewer line replacement project. We are extremely happy to have chosen them. They first came in and performed a detailed diagnostic examination of my sewer line, showing me exactly where the collapse had taken place. There was no doubt the work had to be done. We approved their proposal and they scheduled my project within one week. They came in on a Thursday and finished the next day, working late to complete the project, which was very complex in nature, involving several areas of the house. It specifically involved digging a huge ditch in the front yard and through the concrete in my basement, bursting the old pipe using technologically complex machinery, while simultaneously putting in the new sewer and water pipes - fascinating to watch. They replaced everything that was disturbed by the installation, in a very clean and professional manner. Thank you PlumbWorks for your knowledge, professionalism, and the quality of your work!

He arrived on time and was pleasant and courteous. He was very good at finding our problem with the leaking pipe. It was a good experience.

They were professional, responsive and punctual. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

I had a leak above my kitchen which had caused some damage to the ceiling. Since I live in a condo building, I needed someone to come out and determine the source of the leak so we could figure out who was liable. I called Plumb Works and they were able to send out a plumber a couple days later when I'd be home. The plumber was on time and was able to determine the source of the leak and explain the problem to my condo management association representative and what sort of further work would be needed to fix it. The plumber, Josh, was professional and was able to explain to me the problem. He also explored all other options of diagnosing the source of the leak before needing to cut a small area out of my ceiling (which will need to be replaced anyway). He also cleaned up the debris created by cutting into my ceiling. I was rather pleased with the whole experience as they were punctual and professional. If I am to encounter another plumbing issue, I will certainly make Plumb Works my first call.

After discovering in the evening that the water was not working and finding the damage to the crawl space, I called Plumb Works the following day. They had someone out to my house within a few hours of the call. Josh (the service tech) called 20 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was on the way. He gave me an estimate for the cost of the replacement pipe and the work time. He peformed the service quickly and efficiently. An hour after the work was completed, I recieved a call from their office to ensure that I was happy with the service. I think they did a great job and I would use the company again.

When I called the office, the person was very professional, and called me right back and said a plumber was able to be at my house in about an hour. Wonderful! The plumber arrived and spent a long time telling me how he would estimate the job, spent another 30 minutes in his truck writing up the estimate. When he presented the offer, he was much more interested in selling me a preferred service agreement, than in proceeding to the work. I told him several times I was a member of Angie's List, but received no discount. Once he finally started working, both jobs took less than 30 minutes -- $269 is just too much for that amount of time. This company's "flat rates" are really just an excuse for outrageous prices. I've worked with many plumbers in the many different cities I've lived in, and these prices and pressure to buy an agreement are unusual.

They offer very good service and they are customer oriented. You can request the same plumber and you will get the same person.

They send the same plumber every time. He is very professional. They office staff are very nice. They are helpful folks.

I called in the morning. The plumber came about 1pm. He cut the sheetrock ceiling in the garage, and traced the leak.He identified that the problem was caused by a faulty wax seal on the commode in the bathroom above. He pulled the commode out, replaced the seal (which had been improperly installed by another plumbing company). He cleaned up around the commode and in the garage. He was professional and knowledgable. I will call him again, and I would recommend this company to others.

They were great. They were professional. They came quickly. They found a solution that did not tear up our house or yard.

Booking the appt. was a breeze. Josh called to tell me he was on his way - and arrived on time. He speedily addressed the issue and told me how to fix it in the future. Additionally he noticed the drain was rusty and ran ice several times to help improve the situation. The whole visit took less than thirty minutes and everythingn is working again!

They are amazing. They even cleaned up the standing water that was under the appliances. They were on time. They are courteous and professional. They are honest.

A neighborhood plumber had installed a new kitchen faucet. Within a short time, the hot water became a trickle. Several calls, a missed appointment and no call-back prompted me to go elsewhere. The people at PlumbWorks were punctual, called prior to coming, were knowledgeable, and did both jobs quickly and professionally. There was a piece of rubber blocking the hot water faucet; it probably came from the supply line -- and even I know it shouldn't have been there. The other thing I asked for for was the parts in the 30-plus year old toilet tank to be replaced. One part just came off when it was touched. They left for parts and fixed it quickly upon their return. There have been no further occurrences of a dripping sound due to a chip in the tank (which can be a challenge) or the flapper hanging up & the water running unnecessarily.

Set appointment that worked for me. Called to coordinate when running late. Did work within service call charge plus part. Cleaned up, polite and efficient.

They are very punctual. They do very meticulous work. They were very prompt and always come quickly if there is an emergency. They cleaned up their mess when they leave. They are very professional. They are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I called Plumbworks to run a snake down my drain as the sewer was backing up. I had heard that they have a great reputation and though I've had good experience with Roto Rooter in the past, I thought I'd try these guys as I have a large plumbing job that needs to get done next year. When I called I explained exactly what needed to happen-pull up toilet, run snake down drain, clean it, replace toilet. The woman informed me that they don't give quotes over the phone, even for specific services and that I would have to pay $70 to have the techs come out and give a quote since she couldn't see the job herself. I agreed and the techs came to my house. They were both very nice and very professional. They informed me that it would cost roughly $800 to clean the line and replace the toilet. They also told me that they have a book which they use to quote jobs from, and that my price was the same price that everyone gets. Unfortunately, they would not give me this information over the phone, and I know for a fact that Roto Rooter will do the exact same job for half that price. Again, both men were very nice and professional. I was irritated because I could have saved all of us some time and me $70 had I know that would be the price. The tech told me that they don't give the price out over the phone because otherwise people would 'price shop.' Well, if they were competitive pricewise, then that wouldn't be an issue, but they were not. I politely told them that I would call someone else to do the job as it was just too expensive for me. They were both nice and wrote up my credit card for $70.00.
