In this day and age, good and trustable contractors are hard to come by, they are out there, but you always seem to roll the dice on whether you found one, well with Outdoor Makeover and Construction you have nothing to worry about. They were prompt to reply to our original request for contact. An appointment was set up to review our backyard and Navid from Outdoor Makeover showed up on time and handled our home with care by making sure he didn't track mud into our home. The knowledge shown offered quick trust that we were in good hands and a plan for our new patio was presented promptly. The pricing for the services rendered were more than fair, and well worth it. The work was completed on time, and on budget without any issues with the staff. The end product is one that we will enjoy for years and years to come. Not only Have I recommended them to several people I know, but I would definitely use their excellent services again.

Great After 2 years of looking at our depressing, bare back yard surrounded by a chain link fence we researched landscapers and selected Outdoor Makeover and Construction based on customer feedback and a consultation with Navid. Navid came to our home to discuss possible landscaping options, taking into consideration our budget, objectives and our idea of low maintenance landscaping. He also worked with us to incorporate our ideas including plant selection and design and spent time discussing our concerns regarding drainage issues and various solutions. We were very satisfied with his willingness to work with our time line and schedules and he made several visits to work out details of the project. Navid kept us informed of any possible issues and stopped by frequently to see if we were satisfied with the progress. Navid and his crew were on schedule, efficient, and transformed our back yard into an area for relaxing and entertaining. Navid and his company were phenomenal. I gave him a general idea of what I wanted and he came up with amazing design ideas. I could not have imagined our backyard turning out any better. Navid and his team were on time, constantly working hard and always responsive if there were any questions by my wife or myself. He kept us involved in the process as the plan continued to evolve. Perhaps most satisfying was that while we were promised a lot, those promises were not only lived up to, but also often surpassed. For example, as the project was underway, it was clear that we would need more plants than we had thought. Navid made suggestions that would be cost effective, beautiful, and work within the existing plan. He over delivered on his suggestions, and the yard, as a result, is that much more user friendly and beautiful. More importantly, what we were told would happen, did happen. Navid insured that the work was done correctly, on time, and in the manner that had been promised. I wasn't really certain about exactly what I wanted, but I knew that I needed to feel PRIVACY, and I needed a way to truly enjoy my backyard. I originally considered enlarging my existing patio, or adding an enclosed porch or a trellis. Navid came for my initial consultation, and we walked the yard together. We talked about what I wanted, what I liked about the yard, and what I didn't like about the yard. We talked about ways to achieve privacy, and ways to use the yard I had. From that conversation, I realized that I didn't want to ADD to my house, but rather I wanted to focus on ways to enjoy the yard I had. Navid really listened to my concerns and to what I really wanted, and he designed a beautiful, tranquil, private space that cut down on the amount of grass I mow, increased the natural areas in the rear, created a way to enjoy a little covered canopy of pines in the far yard with a patio for my fire pit. The end result is truly a beautiful space that increases the value of my home, while it intensely magnifies the enjoyment I get from my backyard. It will be a space in which multiple generations of my family will gather. I never imagined how dramatically LIGHTING would change my backyard: thanks to Navid for pushing that idea...I'm a believer!! **I want to add here that I am someone that is very price-conscious, and I am very focused on VALUE. I had 2 additional landscape companies come out to my house to walk my yard and discuss my project. I felt most comfortable with Navid; he is very creative; he listens and creates a vision. He was sensitive to the fact that I wanted to do myself the work that I COULD DO MYSELF (rather than pay him to do it). And I did ALOT of work to save myself some money (cleaned and stained my own fence; added a new section of fence; mulched the finished project myself). We came in on-budget, in spite of different little glitches with my old sprinkler system. I am THRILLED with the value I received for my hard-earned budget. We’re new to the area and we haven’t done many large home projects before so we were a little lost and unsure on how to proceed when we decided we wanted to put a roof over our patio and install a fireplace outside. We did some research and looked at different contractors but were pretty much sold after just a couple meetings with Navid and Omid. We were just so impressed with their honesty and experience and we could tell that we could trust them with our home. They were both extremely responsive throughout the entire process and we were surprised and appreciative by how much communication we got from them the entire time, even during slow periods while we were waiting for materials and permits to come in. They made a lot of great suggestions that we would have never thought about but love now that it’s all installed. They really worked with us to give us an amazing end result and still stay within our budget, and I could tell how passionate they were about their work and delivering something that we would love and they would be proud to build. It almost felt like we were working with a really close friend who cared about us and making sure we were happy. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who was looking to turn their outdoor space into a wow factor.

Navid created a design based upon my requirements which will ensure that the yard will no longer flood, a huge patio and build a retaining wall. The storm drains were extended and a dry creek bed was installed to ensure that water is channeled and won't flood. It's awesome!

The personnel from the company was on time and spent a good amount of time looking over the yard and giving us suggestions on what we could do. He then did a design but this design was definitely not satisfactory. All it was, was a piece of paper with a basic drawing of how our patio could look like. I was expecting a more detailed drawing, perhaps in AutoCAD, that gave us a 3D view into how the yard could look. Instead we had a piece of paper with most of the details related to the cost breakdown for the work required to be done. If the company is going to tout doing design, they should follow through with something more detailed that the customer can take as a basis for future work that needs to get done.

We never used them. We haven't used anybody. Price is a little high. Their work is beautiful, they do houses and businesses. They are very nice.

I was impressed from the moment I called the front office to make appointment. Very professional and seemed interested and engaged in my project from the start. I was very impressed, the team showed up 10 minutes early and worked hard to get project done in time for my party. This is the first time I write a review and hope look forward to working with Navid and his team again. They do beautiful work and could not be nicer - the price is fair - not the lowest but you get quality work

The experience was positive from start to finish. Navid listens and asks questions, trying to figure out your priorities. He makes suggestions, but doesn't pressure. While the cost was higher than other quotes we had received, the service and final product are phenomenal and totally worth the expense. Navid is responsive to any issues that arise and he stays available after the project is completed. Our backyard is our favorite part of our house now. We hope to have the opportunity to transform our front yard in the future with Navid and his group.

Navid and everyone who works with him were all extremely professional, and along with that, just a great person to work with and made the project so enjoyable. He really made us happy and laugh throughout the entire project and we consider him part of our family. He always responded quickly and was on site throughout the project. Outdoor Makeover and Construction is fantastic because of its superior crew and outstanding customer service. From beginning to end, Navid (co-owner of Outdoor Makeover) took great lengths to understand the scope of the project and did whatever was necessary to make things go as smoothly as possible. There were times when Navid had to make some critical decisions while we were traveling, and he made the most pragmatic choices that led to a successful outcome. The project required a significant transformation from ivy filled, uneven, swamp of chaos, to a level, open grass area with aesthetically pleasing drainage. The team worked efficiently to grade the entire yard, followed by putting in beautiful dry creeks, new sod, plus a new privacy fence. Outdoor Makeover went the extra mile with the drainage by trenching it out all the way to the curb; that was over and above expectations, but will surely make for superior drainage when we have the heavy downpours. Navid's communication throughout the project (which they completed in about 7 working days!) was comprehensive. Navid made the effort to personally come out to the project on several occasions to ensure everything was coming together. His attention to detail as well as artistic planning, gave us an even better finished yard than we would have expected! We highly recommend Outdoor Makeover and Construction to anyone interested in working with a quality company that takes great pride in their work.

This is my second time to use Navid and Outdoor Makeover. He had a clear vision of what I needed done. We had a dry ditch of river rock put in to control water drainage. It looks beautiful and is an excellent remedy for the immense water shed in the yard. I had plants transplanted, old brush cleared out, new plants put in, mulch and pine straw put in, and existing irrigation made to fit the new configuration. Accent lighting was added in strategic places that Navid is so good at selecting to give my yard such a professional polished appearance. Definitely a truly valuable investment. You can't go wrong with Outdoor Makeover.

Unbelievable amount of work that only took two days! The whole makeover team worked tirelessly and efficiently.

Fantastic! Their design for my raised garden beds was so creative and classy, much more beautiful than anything I could have imagined myself. I wasn't really into the lighting initially, but WOW what a huge difference it made. Love it! My whole situation was very unique and the plans changed almost daily, but these guys rolled with the punches, they were extremely flexible and accommodating. One day I had a flat tire and they came to my rescue, even though they weren't working at my house that day! I can't say enough good things about this company.

He arrived at the house around 7:30, again on a Friday, and spent about 30 minutes investigating and assessing a plan of action (several options). A member of his team will be coming by on Saturday to get stage one of the problem fixed, which will allow me to turn on my outdoor water again. I'll update the review after service is provided, but at this time would fully recommend!

We had a great experience with the folks at Stone Forest, where Navid sent us to pick out our materials. Once our project started, the workers from Outdoor Makeover were extremely respectful and did a great job. They worked very efficiently – they were done in 5 days! – and the work was quality. Navid stopped by the house at least once each day to check in and walk through that days’ progress and answer any questions we had, and had a final walkthrough with us at the end to make sure we were completely satisfied with the outcome. Outdoor Makeover even surprised us by placing complementary matching pavers on our front path – something we weren’t planning on tackling until phase 2! I wanted to wait to write our review until after the real test of Outdoor Makeover’s work – a big, Atlanta spring thunderstorm. Well we had one last night and looking out in the backyard and seeing our beautiful new patio and side yard NOT under water was just awesome. We are incredibly happy with the results and can’t wait to move forward with our next project. I highly recommend Navid and the entire Outdoor Makeover team.

When I called to inquire about the services of the company, I was rudely interrupted by the person answering the phone and told that they don't come out under $3,500. She states that if your job is not at least $3,500 that they were interested.

We used Outdoor Makeover. Navid is great and very responsive. We had three design firms come out to turn our natural growth backyard into a useable lawn for our family. The other two couldn't hold a candle to his creativity in maximizing our space within our budget. And his team then came out and did the work very quickly.
