I contacted Outdoor Makeover due to the number of positive feedbacks. I received a swift reply to my email. There was an approximately 2 week wait for an appointment with Navid but the wait was worth it. Navid listened to my preferences for low maintaince yard and developed a plan that opened up my yard and home. I needed a large amount of cleanp and a large crew arrived and worked through the morning. Navid arrived,checked in with me and sulpervised placement of cape myrtle, depredation cedar,zebra and myshley grass and winter creepers. A smaller crew completed the job and asked me to check their work prior to departing. A hill that was filled with weeds and stumps was transformed and the appearance of my front and back yards are greatly improved. I have received a number of compliments from my neighbors and anticipate using Outdoor Makeover in the future.

From emailing with Natalie and then meeting Navid the experience was great. My project involved laying sod and mulch on a very short notice. Navid and his crew made it happen! I have so much more to do to complete all what Navid has planned and look forward to working with all of them again!

I moved to this house just a year ago, and the backyard was awful. Huge potential to do something nice, but I didn't want to have a lot of maintenance work.Found "Outdoor Makeover" and loved the pictures of "before and after" jobs, called Navid who came to my house to see the yard and he spent a couple of hours explaining to me the options and going thru all the questions I had.Very patient and very professional, worked with my budget and made a plan.Couple of weeks later, the whole crew was at my house, they were friendly and hard working all day. I was there to answer questions about "here or there", which made me be part of the project and not have any surprises later. I think that's a good thing Navid suggested.They went over the top with excellent service and I couldn't be happier with my yard. Although it's been a while now, all the flowers bloomed in spring and I have been able to enjoy it a lot. Thank you!

Navid spent several hours meeting with us and roughing out a preliminary plan and proposal. This service cost us $89 using a coupon, and I feel like we got our money's worth.

I found Outdoor Makeover and Navid Derakhshan through one of Angie's List's online deals, which gave me a hand drawn landscape plan. It was a simple sketch done at my dining room table incorporating my ideas and his better ones, but the master plan was vivid in Navid's head. He didn't forget a single detail. Eight days later all the work was complete--except for the planting which will come later when it's not so hot--and my backyard was transformed! My house has a view, which has been greatly enhanced by clearing out the underbrush and small trees. His large and professional crew, led by the capable Juan, swarmed over my yard, working long hours to get it all done. Navid came by frequently to check on the progress and to make sure I was happy with everything. I usually was, but If he didn't like something, such as the placement of a--very large--stone step, he had them do it over until he was satisfied. And he wouldn't let them leave until I was completely satisfied with both the job and the cleanup. A bonus was meeting Navid, one of the pleasures of the whole experience. He is very friendly and energetic and obviously loves what he does. It is impossible not to be infected by his enthusiasm and vision. I heartily recommend Outdoor Makeover and can't wait to see the finished project once the planting has been done. I plan to continue to use them for seasonal updates.

We purchased a coupon for a Landscape Consult. Discussed some ideas and hope to accomplish in the fall.

Navid has a gift - he has a phenomenal eye. My yard needs a lot of help and Navid asked questions about plants that I liked and showed me pictures of ones I was not familiar with and came up with a wonderful plan.I highly recommend Outdoor Makeover.

I own a rental home in Alpharetta, and I needed a landscaping company to do a lot of general maintenance on the front and backyard, which had become a bit overgrown in recent months. Because I live in North Carolina, I needed a landscaper who I could give pretty general guidelines like "clean up the yard" and "make things look better" and be able to make good decisions about what that meant. I was very pleased when they called me to discuss the extend of the cleanup and what budget I was trying to work within. They understood what my needs were and did a great job of quickly addressing the main problem areas and make great progress in a short amount of time. I received a very complete set of before and after pictures that they did a great job of making sure I was pleased with the results. I will absolutely use them in the future for other landscaping work.

Navid, Brad and the landscapers were awesome! I have a beautiful cherry blossom tree in my front yard, however, because it is so dense, the grass cannot grow underneath. I called Outdoor Makeover, and Navid came out that day to discuss my needs. He gave me a design with plants that would not only look great, but would do well in the shade and would require minimal maintanence. He was ready to install the design the following day, but because I live in an HOA, I needed to await approval for the design. While wainting, I emailed Navid to see if we could alter the design slightly, and of course, he agreed. Once I recieved approval from the HOA, the plants were delivered, and were installed the next day. The design looked great and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Navid and his crew made the entire experience completely painless and I would recommend them to anyone. Like a "landscape therapist" Navid listened to our woes about drainage and the overall look of the backyard, offered several suggestions within our budget. Less than 4 days from signing the contract work began and was completed in one day, delivering exactly what we were asking for. Several days later after some heavy rains his crew came back to make minor adjustments where the ground has settled and replaced some sod that couldn't survive the shock of the heat. Simply put we went from drainage h*** to backyard sanctuary in one day at a very reasonable cost.

Outdoor Makeover has handled two special landscaping projects in our backyard during the past year, and both times they’ve provided spectacular results as well as outstanding service. Navid and his team are deeply knowledgeable about their craft, and moreover they are focused on achieving 100% customer satisfaction. During the work for both jobs, Navid and his crew performed several tasks that we had not even requested, going above and beyond to make our yard look its best. In addition, after the most recent project that Outdoor Makeover completed for us, there was a minor issue with one of the backyard ponds on which they had worked. I notified Navid of the issue the next day, and within hours his team was right back out in our backyard working hard until everything was perfect. It is hard to imagine that there is a better landscaping team in Atlanta. We enthusiastically recommend Outdoor Makeover to anyone in Atlanta who appreciates gorgeous landscaping and a total dedication to customer service.

First thing worth noting is they were willing to come out on a Saturday to meet with my wife and I together, which is difficult during the week and not all companies were willing to do that. Navid came on a Saturday afternoon and spent several hours talking walking thru the issues and the yard and making suggestions on what he thought could be done. He was very friendly and more than professional when it came to discussing the work that needed to be done. By the end of the afternnon we were more than wiilling to let Navid and company take care of the situation at a price and plan as we discussed and agreed. He asked if we could wait a couple of weeks because they were busy and since we had been putting this off for years that was not a problem, but I am pretty sure if we had said we wanted it done sooner he would have made that happen. Natalie (Navid's wife) called a few weeks later and notified me of their starting time as I had requested. The crew showed up early on the Friday they said and Navid showed up shortly after to get them started after explaining to the crew supervisor in detail what was to be done. One of the many things that was to be done was create a dry creek bed along the back and side to take any water from my surrounding neighbors property and run it where we wanted it rather than thru the whole property. My wife was not at home that day and when she came home that evening was not overjoyed with the fact that there were so many large rocks bordering the dry creek bed (even though it was what was agreed to, the reality of all the rocks didn't match what she had pictured in her mind). I called Navid on Saturday and he was very apologetic (even though they really did nothing wrong), and just wanted to know what they could do to make my wife happy. He had no problem agreeing to coming out on Sunday afternoon to discuss the problem and rework the plan in any way that would make my wife happy. He came as promised and spent a couple of hours again and agreed to move the path of the dry creek bed and remove all the large rocks and built a dirt berm instead as a barrier in addition to covering with pinestraw, all at no additional cost . The crew was back on Monday (topsoil truckloads were delivered on Saturday) and reworked everything as promised (including lugging away all the heavy rocks they had just lugged in on Friday). The bobcat work was also done to take care of the sink holes and to help regrade the property and within a couple of days the whole project was done to my and my wife's satisfaction. We also got to meet Navid's family thru the process who were also exptremely nice people. The only time the original estimated price changed was when we added things like a stone step walkway that we had not originally discussed.and a few other things that were added as we went along. Overall we were extremely happy with the work, the workers and more than pleased with Navid's willingness to please. We would not hesitate to use Outdoor Makeover again,

They communicated promptly and effectively, but do not offer the services I was looking for.

It was great. Navid and his crew did a great job. The best part was the design. Navid spent a lot of time asking questions and planning for the landscape. On the day of the job we even altered a few things like adding a tree, which he ran out that morning to get. He had a large crew that did the job efficiently. Navid stopped by several weeks after the job to make sure everything was taking nicely. He quoted and finished the job within four days! He was great ... we've already recommended him to several other friends.

I can't say enough great things about the work that Navid and his team did for us, especially in such a short amount of time. We were short on time (our house was listed for sale) and we needed the work done asap. Navid understood this, and the work was done within a week of our first conversation with Outdoor Makeover. The crew he brought out to the house was prompt, professional and courteous. Navid and his team even went above and beyond what we had asked for and made our yard look spotless when the work was done. No issue with trash or other materials left in the yard. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our selection of Outdoor Makeover.

From the first moment we met Navid, we knew that we were going to hire Outdoor Makeover. He listened to our desires as well as our concerns. He offered great council, recommending a landscape plan that would 1) met our needs and 2) stay within our budget. And, when was the last time a contractor called you ahead of schedule to let you know they would be starting on your project the next day? Never, right? But that's exactly what happened. We started the project nearly two weeks before we discussed we would, and a day-and-a-half later, we had a new lawn. The neighbors have talked for years about our yard; the only difference now is that they are raving about how great it looks. We couldn't have done it without Navid and his team -- which I believe is the best in Atlanta. Everyone we encountered was professional and courteous. The best part was that we got to meet Navid's family during the process. They are wonderful people and that made the experience truly special. Our only regret is that we didn't hire Outdoor Makeover 2 years ago.

The property has never looked better. I have had other landscapers. No one compares to Navids quality of work and customer service. Very hard working and professional. We look forward to continuing our working relationship with OutDoor MakeOver, And would reccomend them to anyone.

Navid and his brother are great salesmen, but they are not architects nor landscape architects as implied in their advertising material. After having work done by them I feel that they are more concerned with their image and reviews than the actual work they perform. In my opinion, they do not know the basics of landscape design or outdoor architecture. I decided not to use them for design work or "makeover" landscaping, but just clean-up and maintenance. The work was carried out promptly and went well enough; they did what we contracted, but it was hurried and somewhat sloppy. I would not use this firm again as their manner of communication felt condescending and not genuine, it made me feel uncomfortable and did not instill my confidence in their company.

What a great experience working with Navid and Outdoor Makeover! My wife and I had been trying to decide for 2 years how to replace a rotting retaining wall while creating a more safe and livable space in our backyard. Navid offered suggestions to allow for the safety of our young children and to maximize the use of our yard. I got quotes from several other landscapers but none were as prompt, competitive on price for quality or gave me trust that wasn't going to be nickeled and dimed throughout the project for minor changes. The crew that worked in our yard was always respectful to me, my wife and children. They cleaned up at the end of each day and worked hard to finish in a timely fashion. I decided to go with Outdoor Makeover because I trusted Navid. He took time to understand my concerns, objectives, and budget to craft a plan that worked for us. Throughout the project his favorite phrase was "don't worry, well make it right" I felt like he wouldn't stop until we were happy with the results. I'll be using them again!

We met with Navid on a Sunday, and he spent about three hours going over an existing landscape plan that we had and walking through the yard with us to get a complete sense of the work we wanted to have done. He offered suggestions for a number of plants, and based on my wife's likes and dislikes, honed the list of suggested shrubs and perennials to use. He did a rough sketch of all of the areas to be worked on and then proceeded to outline the proposed beds with flags to clarify what we wanted done and marked shrubs to be removed as well. The estimate was within our budget, so we decided to move forward with the work. Navid indicated his crew could come in the next week to do the work. When the day for the work arrived, his crew showed up as scheduled right on time. They set to work clearing out the monkey grass that bordered most of our planting areas to move it to the street side where we had lots of brown patches by the sidewalk. Navid walked us through all of the work being done and gave instructions to his on site supervisor. I was concerned that the crew might accidentally cut our phone line, and he had them hand dig until they found it to make sure to keep it out of the way. When the plants showed up, Navid walked my wife and I through all of the placements so we'd have a good sense of what was going to be completed and how it would look. The crew worked the entire day and transformed our yard from "ho-hum" to "WOW!" While we were walking the yard with Navid, a neighbor stopped by to ask for his business card. At one point, Navid noted that his plant guy had delivered the wrong shrub for the front of the house, but he quickly had the guy come back with the correct shrubs. His crew did additional work at no extra charge, including removing a diseased crape myrtle and clearing out more ivy than we had ageed to. This was a good thing as we has spotty patches of ivy by the street, and I really wanted to clean up the street side view of the front of the house. In the end, we are completely satisfied with the work done. Navid made several suggestions during the design process that I didn't initially agree with, such as removing some of the established shrubs along the foundation. In those cases, he created new planting areas with smaller plants to give a much better view of the home. The yard really pops now, and an area that had been previously filled with wood chips interspersed with weeds is now covered in lovely shrubs and perennials. Navid's crew even took all of the debris away. I had previously agreed to dispose of the landscape debris myself to save $$$, but Navid had his crew take care of it, and that is going above and beyond what we had agreed to. We are so happy with Outdoor Makeover that we will definitely use them again and refer them to all of our friends. Navid and his team have definitely earned their A rating from Angie's List.

The entire process went better than I imagined it would be. Navid showed up on a Friday evening for the consultation. I already had ideas of what I wanted, but wanted to hear what he had to say first. I was surprised many of his ideas were similar to what I wanted done. 3 hours later we had a final plan. One thing I really liked was that we walked around the yard and he gave me best estimates on material and their prices. He gave me fair warning that things can change. Navid and his crew showed up on Monday morning to start the process and they were done within 4 days. He constantly came by the house and asked to do walk arounds. I was really impressed with this, he really wanted to make sure that I was getting what I wanted and was happy. His crew was great the whole time. They were professional, courteous and really hard workers. I don't think I ever saw them slow down. They were also very responsive and friends when I made minor changes, like to move things around a little. They were always eager to do what I wanted. When they left, you could hardly tell they were there because they cleaned up so well. Before the job was completed, Navid came by again to make sure everything was perfect, and give advice for future plans. He also explained in detail about each plant and shrub was. Along with the new so, he explained to me how to take care of them so they do not die. I can tell he is very passionate about his work, along with this workers. I look forward to having them do more work in the future.

Overall, they were very reasonably priced, on time, and did an excellent job. We had some unusual circumstances that created some problems. We had a break in the water pipe and had a major problem with an outstanding water bill. They rectified the issue and set things straight. They went above and beyond what was asked to make sure everything was straight and acceptable to me.

From the first email and phone call, Outdoor Makeover exceeded all expectations. Navid was on time for the free estimate and returned each and every email and telephone call in a timely manner. This includes several contacts after the job was finished and paid for. He worked around my schedule, and was even willing to move up the job date to accommodate the birth of a son. His crew came out early in the morning, and worked their butts off to complete the pretty substantial project within one day. During the job, a large pile of dirt was put on the street, which caused a "stain" on the road. When my HOA asked me to clean the area almost a month later, Navid, without hesitation, sent someone out to pressure wash the area free of charge. My yard looks amazing.

Navid, his crew and family were wonderful. The transformation of our back yard was amazing and the result was gorgeous!Every question was answered, and every concern addressed promptly and to our total satisfaction. In fact, Navid provided some materials and services not included in the agreement simply because he said he saw us as nice people and wanted to make us totally happy. We enjoyed the experience of getting to know Navid, his family and his hardworking crew. Thanks Navid!

We called four other companies who were all too busy for the job or did not return phone calls. Outdoor Makeover returned our call promptly and scheduled a time to come out. Within a week, they came out and trimmed all shrubs, hauled away debris, and put down pine-straw around just under an acre. The work was exceptional. They showed up on time and completed the work the same day. Thank you Outdoor Makeover!!
