They were very conscientious, acted professionally, and were responsive when we called. The designs turned out well, too.

Navid did a great job designing the new area. He listened to my ideas, reviewed my 'don't want' list, looked at the pictures I had found on-line and then created a design, which I liked more than other companies. The job was completed in one day. The crew was great and very efficient. Navid was on site the first part of the day and his mother was on site the remainder of the day. Navid's follow-up has been great.

During their digging they discovered an underground irrigation pipe and re-routed it so that they could install the retaining wall properly. Everything was done very professionally.

Navid was very professional and considerate throughout the process. I wanted a somewhat simple design with hardy plants and he sketched something perfect for my needs. On the day of landscaping, Navid made sure things were in order as his team arrived to begin. When the mulch provider brought the incorrect color of mulch, Navid make sure to make it right and had the mulch provider bring back the correct color. He even had his team help me when I was moving items into my attic while we waited for the mulch driver to bring back the correct product! His team was very professional and courteous during the landscaping. The checked that the plants were being placed in the location in the design and double checked the layout was to my liking before planting. I was very happy with the results! The yard looked lovely in fall and will hopefully be ok in spring once the freeze here in GA is over! I would recommend Outdoor Makeovers to anyone looking for landscaping. Communication is key to success with any contractor and my experience was excellent as I was very specific about outcomes and expectations and Navid is very customer service oriented so he was able to respond very well!

It was a bust. It wasn't any good for me because he did not help me at all. When he was here, I was busy so I didn't put any real attention to it and I just left it for him to do whatever he decided to do and he left me a little sheet and I don't know what he said but it was no good for me because it was something I didn't need. He was no good to me. He was no help to me for what I needed. The price was average. He came when said he would. I guess he was responsive. He tried to be professional.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went okay. I never used the plans, but I liked some of the ideas. The interaction with the provider was fine. They were not particularly timely as I recall.

He was very personable and spent a lot of time talking with me to make sure I had what I wanted and what he would recommend. I really loved the plan!

That was fine but we didn't end up using them to do the landscaping work. They were professional, friendly and listened to what I wanted. The designs were fine but we went with a less expensive approach. I didn't spend anything other than the cost of the deal and they came out soon after I purchased it.

Outdoor Makeover Summary Approximately 2 months ago, I decided to contract with Outdoor Makeover to address a gaping hole that was left in my backyard due to a very large 3 ft. wide tree that was removed after the ongoing, wet, summer months. Instead of filling the void with another large tree, recommendations were to consider a waterfall along with some additional landscaping to fill in the gaps within my back yard. The waterfall would be a unique approach vs. another tree where it would also help to buffer road noise that I previously received. Design: Navid along with his waterfall and lighting experts turned my backyard into a magical experience. My yard had a great start; however, it needed the touch of some highly talented design expertise to make it a wonderful experience. The waterfall, lighting and trees that were added to my backyard enhance my home where one will want to just relax and listen to great music while enjoying all the fabulous surroundings. The design is very natural with the maintenance being minimal. I could not be more pleased with the outcome of the design recommendations made by Navid and his team. The neighbors who have visited my yard have only complimented the look and feel of the space. Project Management: The entire crew was all very courteous and highly experienced with the level of knowledge they exhibited. Navid?s crew went above and beyond the expectations of what was outlined in the contract while meeting all the time commitments that were discussed, per the agreement. I am not used to this with contractors; so, this was a pleasant surprise. Ongoing Support: Although I have not had my project installed for long, Navid and his crew have been exceptional at addressing any of the areas that needed to be fine-tuned. I had some questions related to the water fall that were about timing and fill of the pond where he was there within a 24 hour period to address the questions and pose a resolve that more than met my needs. He has demonstrated this on several other areas I had questions on. Going Above and Beyond: - Navid?s crew addressed some neighbor?s request to remove tree debris while they were working on my project, which was definitely out of project scope. This was done without any complaints or additional costs, and, with a neighbor who cannot be more pleased. · While Navid?s crew was working on my project, they ran into unanticipated stump grinding requirements, which cost his crew extra time and money. Navid could have built the waterfall on top of the stump; however, this would have shortened the life of the pond. Instead, he absorbed the additional grinding into overall project costs and did what was right for long-term sustainability of the pond. · Some additional plantings were put into my backyard in an area where jasmine needed to be removed. Instead of throwing the perfectly good jasmine to waste, the shrub was replanted in a neighbor?s yard where they are extremely pleased and loved the outcome of the transplant. Overall, I would recommend Navid to any of my neighbor's or friends. He does exceptional work with great outcome.

Navid and his crew did a great job for us. Navid offered a number of different solutions up front, and was helpful in walking through our options. He was good about communicating with us during the project, and made sure the work was completed to our satisfaction. Quality work and a good experience. We plan on using them again as we continue to make improvements to our yard.

Navid and his guys came out and did an outstanding job fixing our serious drainage issues. They also removed some bushes and covered the digging with wheat straw for free. They also handled some neighbor issues with great success.

Great from start to finish. Navid is excellent. Dealt with the project and gave me more than expected. Some minor issues came up during the job and Navid handled them. He was thorough and did some extra work that was not in the contract. He went above and beyond. Planning to use them again in the Spring.

I did not know what I needed and Navid is great with suggestions and designing. It looks terrific and all the goals were accomplished. He supervised his workers and gave me a lot of advice on everything else in the yard. I told Navid about a large branch possibly damaging my roof and Navid told me about his brother, Olmead, who came over and evaluated my roof for damage at no charge. He showed me where the branch had damaged some parts of the roof and also recognized where someone else had come in previously and not done a good job. Olmead brought me shingle samples to pick from for color matching. He gave me a better price since I had gotten the landscaping and hardscape done. He did great work and was very trustworthy and spent tiem teaching me what I was looking at on my roof and explaining what needed to be done. The work was performed in a timely manner and there was no mess left behind. I am very pleased that I have this company to go to for almost of my outdoor needs.

We just moved in to a new home and knew we needed to repair/replace some of our outdoor hardscaping. Navid was very helpful and thoughtful in helping us to discern what was a priority and what could wait and why. We are delighted with our beautiful stone stairs, with a particularly elegant touch they added to the side steps. We appreciated the great crew of men who came and worked very hard all day, completing the stairs and retaining walls all in one day! A great experience all around.

Once again, I would like to rave about Outdoor Makeover!! Last June, Navid and his crew came out to landscape our front yard. Due to having the wettest summer on record, several plants and annuals did not make the summer. After one phone call to Navid, his crew came out today and replaced the plants and annuals and refreshed the pine bark at no cost. Navid stood behind his warranty of the life of his plants and made sure that we were satisfied with our beautiful front yard. I always recommend Outdoor Makeover and one of my friends called Navid for a quote. She loved Navid's designs, but decided to go with another company because they were cheaper. Sadly her landscaping job has been a catastrophe from the start and the cheap price has significantly gone up....she wishes she had worked with Outdoor Makeover!! Wake up Atlanta and smell the roses (you will if Outdoor Makeover planted them), and call Outdoor Makeover for all of your landscaping needs.

Navid is the busiest man in landscaping. He is also an excellent salesman, and is very knowledgeable. I needed my entire front, back and sides of my yard to be re-sodded, and my back yard needed to be graded to address drainage issues. Navid was almost 2 hours late for our initial meeting, but he was personable and seemed to be full of good suggestions and knowledge. After agreeing to the job, I waited to hear when they would be out to do the work. When Navid finally called to say they were coming out in 2 days I asked him when they were coming out to mark for the utilities. He said he had not called, that he thought I would be calling. He then gave me the info and I called. I was told it would be a week before they could complete the markings. Navid said it didn't matter, that the only real concern was the input cables to the house for telephone and cable, and that his crew would dig them up to safeguard them. The crew showed up and proceeded to dig up the cable tv and phone cables, and then cut the cable tv cable! Other than cutting the cable the crew worked hard the first day, but left the site fairly messy. They sent out their fixer to repair the splice cable tv cable. Next day while digging for the irrigation system they cut BOTH the cable tv and the phone cables! After they were done I had to clean up empty water bottles and wrappers. The sod they used looked good after massive watering, however it soon blew up with weeds. This was possibly because they did not use any roundup or similar product to kill off the existing weeds. The grading that was done in the back created a flood plain on the side of the house. I asked them to regrade the side but instead they installed a french drain, which only partially solves the flooding. They also did not properly fill in the yard after digging the irrigation system trenches, so now when I mow my lawn it is like stepping in gopher holes in some areas. They did credit me the costs for 2 treatments of lawn care service to kill the weeds and for what the cable company charged me to run a new line.

The project was a great success, despite several unexpected issues that arose. The crew had allotted two days for the project. However, due to the size of the sink hole (it wound up being one of the largest and deepest the crew had ever seen), the crew worked solid for three and a half days to complete the job. There was significant water at the bottom of the hole, and this slowed down the process. 25-30 tree trunks were buried within the hole and had to be removed. More gravel and concrete than expected was needed to fill in the base of the hole, and more dirt/mud than expected had to be hauled away. The crew had to spend significant time repairing portions of the irrigation system that had to be removed to permit repair of the sink hole. Throughout the process, Navid (the owner) was very fair, and he maintained an open line of communication. Initially, he met with us to examine the property and to discuss the scope of the project. We agreed to a base estimate. However, as outlined above, there were a variety of unexpected costs. For all of these unexpected costs, Navid worked with us to agree on an amount that was fair to us and his company. He came to check on the progress of the job every day, and he also did a final walk-through with us to ensure we were satisfied. The crew was always on time, and they worked very hard every day they were here.

We decided in June of 2013 to update the landscaping of our front yard. I called four different landscape companies and the one company that called me back less then 24 hours was Outdoor Makeovers...and I am so very glad that they did! We had the pleasure of working closely with Navid and his crew. Our meeting with him was very professional and educational. Navid took the time to hear our wishes and concerns. We had a set budget for the landscaping and he made sure we stuck to it. Navid was always in constant contact with us and he also was on the job site throughout the project to make sure we were happy with the landscape design from the very beginning to the completion of the project. To this date, Navid continues to be in contact with us to make sure that our plants have made it through the summer and to help us "winterize" our front yard for the fall and winter. The Outdoor Makeover crew was also very professional and courteous. They started and finished on time. They were fast and efficient. The jobsite was always clean and if I ever had a question, they made sure I had an answer and that I was happy with it. Overall, we are thrilled with the landscaping of our front yard. We have had many compliments on our yard and I am more then happy to refer people to Outdoor Makeover because I trust them, they are extremely knowledgeable, and they are the best landscaping company to work with in Atlanta.

It thought it was pretty good. He was very helpful. It was a little pricey.

We ended up spending more than we originally planned but it turned out gorgeous. After we got the required permits from the city - things went well. They started work on a Wednesday and was able to complete everything by the following Monday. Navid from Outdoor Makeover was able to remove a broken concrete patio, railroad ties and a footer for the ties that was supposed to be a patio. He dug out a 225 sq. foot flat patio area that is now covered with beautiful tumbled stone pavers. Granite steps with flagstone landings lead up to back gate and then flagstone stepping stones complete the walkway. He transformed our vision into a beautiful backyard with a gorgeous patio under our deck with seating built into the retaining wall and graceful easy to use steps from the lower level up to street level. He incorporated a beautiful meandering dry creek bed to divert the water away from out house towards the creek at the back of our property. We would definitely recommend him. His crew was hard working and dedicated and put extra hours to complete the job to our satisfaction.

It was a good experience and they were passionate about the work that they did. They were also thoughtful and courteous.

This past April Navid and his crew came out and reconstructed my backyard with a new stone deck, planted new zoysia grass and installed trees and plants. It looked awesome and they did a great job. Navid always wants to make sure you are happy with the work done and will not leave until you are a 100% satisfied. Then the rain came... first i had poor drainage and my plants were drowning so i called and he came out immediately and put in a dry creek bed at no charge which helped a lot. The rain kept coming and didn't stop for months so by October five of my nice trees had died. I was especially sad to see both my japanese maples died. I called Navid and he came out immediately and said he would change all the plants at no charge. What a relief because i was so upset that 5 had died! Navid always returns my texts and calls and is so easy to work with. Him and his brother are very professional and if you are looking to have your yard done with either landscaping or hardscape call him. Navid also went over and installed a huge waterfall feature at my neighbors house and it looks great! My neighbor is extremely happy with the work done. I am having Navid do my front yard in the next couple weeks so i will let you know how it goes. Call Navid and Happy landscaping!

Excellent service. Navid is a brilliant guy and immediately gave us a couple of plans and ideas, everything was finished in three weeks and amazingly the job was done in one day.

Our pipe dream was to have a big, green yard for our toddler to play in, and Outdoor Makeovers helped make it a reality. It was hard for my husband and I to see beyond our over-grown property, riddled with sink holes so we interviewed several companies to get their take. It was clear from the beginning that Outdoor Makeovers offered a very educated, and designer-ly perspective that was respectful of our family objectives, our financial situation, and our particular property. We were interested to see how one company could have such an influx of positive reviews, and wondered if we might be just a number to them; we were very pleasantly surprised to feel like we had known Navid for years and it became apparently clear that he and his team are genuinely deserving of all the hype. He spent an evening with us walking our property and brainstorming ideas and quickly formulated a plan. We were very impressed with how seamlessly he coordinated the various efforts and how quickly everything took shape...just 1 week! Each of the various crews were super friendly, timely and responsive and made a concerted effort along each step of the project to initiate dialogue about any issues we may have had (we had none, of course). In addition to the scope we agreed upon, Outdoor Makeovers went above and beyond to help us out where they could (I think they could tell how agriculturally challenged we are!) by mapping out some ideas for plantings in the future, and full instructions on how to avoid killing anything :) . We are grateful for their candor, their vision, their ability to implement, and mostly we're grateful for the beautiful yard our daughter will have to make her childhood memories. Thank you!
