We worked with "Vineet". We consider ourselves fairly well versed shoppers for Persian rugs. Despite this, Vineet spent considerable time trying to convince us that his rugs were the best in the city, and that all we know about rugs was inherently wrong. We found a few we liked, but the quality of the rug was sufficiently poor that we declined to purchase. After finding one that looked to be fairly well designed, we began discussing price. At first the prices were outrageous ($1,000+ over market value). After we left, Vineet continued to correspond via email, dropping the price and using pressure tactics. Despite a price ultimately close to market value (not quite there, but close), we decided not to buy because of concerns about: ethics (trying to convince us that inferior quality rugs were top quality), and the unprofessional pressure tactics used by Vineet. There are better quality stores not too far away - I would pass up a visit to this place, especially if you're not a well informed shopper. The risk of being ripped off is too high.

Our customers’ trust & confidence has been the backbone of our success for nearly 30 years in USA for our mom-and-pop type of small business. We have had thousands of happy and satisfied customers. We will do almost anything within reason to please our customers. Not a single word was spoken over phone or in a meeting after this customer left our showroom – everything was by emails. Transcripts of the same (available upon request to authorized members) will reveal that we tried hard to address his concerns. Our family (from India) has been in rug industry for three generations (Since 1972). This Company is headed by Mr. Benny (Bhanwar) Golchha, Vineet’s father, who is a M.S. textile engineer (U.Mass.) and has gone through literally every aspect of rug industry for the last 41 years - designing, developing, production, imports & exports, wholesale & retail. Others on our staff, Renu & Vineet (Benny’s son), have had 23 & 13 years of experience respectively. We carry rugs from all the major rug producing countries. Unlike Persian, rugs from other countries, especially India, have gone through a sea change. Patchy knowledge is sometimes worse than total ignorance. We feel that educating customers about the different quality parameters of current rugs is the right way to help them. Our this sincere approach seems to have been misinterpreted by this customer. Rugs are somewhat like works of art and even perfectly honest opinions of two top experts for a given rug may vary due to personal liking and/or aesthetic considerations. When a customer voluntarily gives us his contact information, we may contact him just once as a one time follow-up to check if he/she is still interested in the rug/s. We never use hard-selling techniques and price our rugs at fair market values. Like any business, we would sometimes, sell at a discount depending upon our inventory position, peak or off-season or other such reasons. As for quality vs. prices, we are exceptionally competitive since we visit overseas 4/5 times a year, handpick our rugs personally and then import directly; therefore, there is no middleman between the customer and our rugs, which is uncommon not only in Atlanta but in the entire Southeast USA. In fact, our major revenue comes from wholesaling rugs (supplying to retailers) all over the USA.
