home warranty companies
+ -1 moreCustomer service employee was vulgar and unprofessional and I feel they intentionally hired her to avoid any work. The first word she said was “We don’t cover disposals”. A plumbing company whose warranty doesn’t cover cloggings or disposable issues, you could imagine their business . Their warranty value for me is 0.
Description of Work: Disposal stopped working after only 8 months of use. Called them and they rejected to do anything as the customer service employee claimed that their warranty doesn’t cover cloggings and garbage disposals

Description of Work: I would like to report that this company has resolved my complaint. Because I have had several leaks in the last 5 years, and because the company also installed the plumbing in my home, they replaced the water line completely, at no cost to me. I am thourghly happy with the end result. I have been working with Debbie, who has been very professional and responsive from the very beginning. I have used this company several times in the past, and I am happy to report that they stand by their work. I would like to show that my complaing against NW Plumbing with Angie's List is resolved, and due to the integrity of this company, I would use them again. Thank you, Angie's List.

+ -1 moreI purchased a home in 2002. The company that installed the original water lines and plumbing is Northwest Plumbing. I have had high water bills for several years. This is due to the water line that was installed in my home by Northwest Plumbing keeps cracking. The company comes to my home to repair it, and within 9 to 12 months, the water is leaking again from the sidewalk. The last time repair was done on my property was in April 2011. I ask the company to honor the warranty, and come out an fix it. They advised they will not, becuase the water line break is in a different location on the same line. I advised the water line is the same line that was repaired by them, and the work they are doing is obviously fautly. Regardless of the wear the breakage in, the water line is still broken. The company has refused to honor the warranty, or reimburse me for my water bills. I have asked for copies of all of my receipts for the last 5 years, and I still have not received them.
Description of Work: I purchased a home in 2006. NW Plumbing installed the plumbing into my home. My home was new construction. I have had multiple problems with this water line since this company installed the plumbing. This company has been to my home to "fix" the water line on 3 different occasions. In 2009 I have had water dripping from the sidewalk. NWP came out to fix the problem,and within 12 mos, the sidewalk was leaking again. In April 2011, the water line cracked, again, and I had to call them to repair the line again. Now, in October 2011, the problem has occurred again. The company required me to pay BEFORE the job was completed,and refused to honor the warranty that is currenlty on this previous repair. These people are crooks, and I have had $200 waterbills for several months, with no restitution.Last week, I was told by a woman that they would be out on Wednesday,October 19th, Thursday October 20th at the latest. No one came out until Wednesday, the following week.

+ -1 moreI GUESS THAT THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND CAME OUT ON TIME AND PERFORMED THE JOB COURTEOUSLY. I MEAN THAT THEY WERE POLITE AND PERFORMED THEIR JOB.
Description of Work: THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE TOILET.
