They partially installed marble, the marble installation was 1,400.00 i paid 2,400.00, they left and took my money did not return the extra i paid and did not finish the job, they left the job half done. They said i do not pay the AD price because you are rich. They owe me at least $1,000.00 and they told me to take them to court, or 'try' to take them to court. He also called me a "B***" this was in black and white on a message to me, because I would not pay him more than the listed price he said he charges. Well, I gave him $2,400.00 cash so if I were him I would not call someone who gave me 2,400.00 cash a B**** but that is his choice. In my opinion, and this is just my opinion, I would be very careful and I'd stay away from this company. He told me to take him to court if I want the money back he owes me, so that leaves me no choice really. Not sure I've ever had anyone say to me to take them to court but to each his own. Also, he told me, when i write a check, to make it out directly in his name, so as far as taxes, I'd say 'possibly' he is not paying all of his taxes he owes to the government, that is just IMO of course, you can form your own opinion on the entire situation. For the partial amount of work he did, I can upload photos of the 'work' the molding has huge gaps in it probably a half an inch wide, i will be getting it fixed by another contractor, the marble is uneven, there are areas where he did not finish laying marble, so I will have to have someone else who will complete his work, i am hoping this won't be too difficult, but i am imagining not many people want to complete other peoples' work so i may have to have the entire job re-done. If you have a wife, I would be careful if he talks to her, seeing he called me a B**** and said what are you going to do about it. Anyways, if i can update this post i will let you know how court goes because i am definitely not letting him get away with stealing that much money from me, and i will let the irs know that they may want to take a look into this business. That is all. You may have a much better experience with them so i'd just say caveat emptor, everyone else may not have an attorney in their family as I do to assist with situations like this.

Nicko had agreed on a price and time that was way better than anyone else. He was personally recommended to me by my fiancé's good friend. Nicko arrived the first day slightly late with a co-worker at around 1:00pm. They got right to it. They laid about half the floor in that afternoon and left at around 5:00pm. The second day, he arrived around 1:00pm again by himself, but had to leave at 4:00pm due to a family emergency. On the third day, I didn't hear from him till around 1:30pm; he arrived at 2:00pm with a co-worker. They got right to it again and finished the job at around 6:30pm. Overall, they did a great job. My specific floor had a very small lip to staple to, some staples are showing slightly, but are very hard to see and with all the furniture in, you cannot see but maybe 2-3 of them. When he was here and working, he did great and it looks great. Just him getting around and getting here was a little difficult. I know my house was about an hour from where he lives, but I thought that he might want to get here earlier and get it done. But no worries, it looks great and I couldn't be happier.
