Marc was very complete and concise in his quote, with a good and very good option. We chose the good option vinyl windows. The installation was pretty much seamless and quick. They were in and out before I got back from work. There was no mess left behind. I would recommend this company.

I made an appointment with Marc to come to my house to give me a quote to replace nearly all of the windows in my house. Marc was on time for the appointment, explained the differences in the windows available and measured all my windows. He sent the quote for the windows and install to me the next day via email. I received one other quote for the job, which was very similar, but I went with Marc because he had so many good reviews on Angie's List and he seemed very honest. The windows were ordered and arrived about 3 weeks later. Marc called to schedule the install about a week in advance. I had made arrangements to work from home on that day (not an easy thing to arrange at my company!), so it was very important that the install happen as planned. The installers were supposed to arrive around 9AM, but Marc called to let me know that his guys had gone on an emergency call for another client, but they would arrive between 10-10:30 and that they would still be able to finish the job in one day. The installers arrived just as Marc promised and they were all friendly, as well as professional. They performed the install on all the windows as planned, cleaned up after themselves and were done by 3:30PM. Marc was there for the last 60 or 90 minutes of the install to make sure that everything was just as it should be and even rolled up his sleeves and helped!! Quite honestly, if I would have known how painless the entire process of replacing all those windows was going to be I would have done it years ago!!! I highly recommend Marc and MWT Home Improvement -- I will most definitely use them again if there is ever an opportunity to do so.

I would highly recommend this company. I had been dreading and putting off replacing 4 damaged windows. From start to finish all went well. The price was very fair and the installers finished the project in 1 1/4 hrs. I was amazed. Clean up was thorough and they were very professional. I will definitely call on them when I am ready to complete my window project.

The crew was on time,did the work in professional manner,cleaned everything up and removed all trash,replaced everything back after windows were installed. They answered all my questions,went with me to inspect the completed job. They did an excellent job,I will use them again and will recommend them.Marc came after the job wascompleted to check it and to make sure I was satisfied.

Mark was knowledgeable in explaining how energy efficient windows work and the different features of various price points. He provided a timely and accurate quote. And worked with us in doing the job in phases. He and his crew were punctual and professional at all times. they are neat in their work and do a complete clean up. I highly reccommend MWT.

I read about all the high-pressure sales pitches that you might get when buying new windows, but I dealt with none of that. Marc was straight-forward and made sure I was buying the windows I wanted- still much more efficient than my 1930s originals, but would still look good with the craftsman style of my house. He and his guys were in and out within a day, installing all 10 windows. They showed up punctually, and were careful of my floors and belongings. Same when they put my door in a couple weeks ago (windows went in Dec 2014) -- Marc made sure he was on-site a couple times during the time the installer was here. I have VERY uneven floors, window frames and door frames, and Marc explained to me that shims would have to be put in, but everything would look fine. And it did. It's Amazing the difference in the noise-level from outside and the street, now. And the temperature difference is great; It was always much colder in the house on a cold, windy day, but not anymore since the new windows went in. I will say this about Marc-- he's very good about responding in a timely manner, and answering any questions/concerns. I'm really happy with the job MWT did, and I think my summer utility bills will reflect the better-sealed house.

I met with Sales people from Home depot, Pella, and a local milling company and closer to the time we were ready to begin the project I met with another well rated A+ installer located on Angie's list who primarily did monarch replacement windows. I attempted to talk to Replacement by Anderson but found them to be an "icky" weird operation who insisted that both my wife and I meet with them and everything I read steered me away from them. Marc was the most professional of the 5 or so people I met with and the only person to give us real solutions to match the style and fit of what we wanted to do in terms of look and function. He was quick to advise us that if we did casements in our kitchen windows we would be looking at a vertical chuck of material in the center of the window and it would be ugly - something no one else ever said but on top of the advice he came up with the idea for Awning windows in the kitchen and worked with his Wood window mfg to make sure they could be made for the window. He was careful to explain that there would be a gap at the top and how they would fill that in but he wanted to make sure we fully understood everything. We used wood in a few places where visitors would more closely see the windows because we felt it would better blend with the 50's ranch look but in other areas such as the front and side of the house we used casement and double hung Vinyl from Simonton. We had also been looking at using laminated glass on the front of the house to increase the security for break in protection but also because of the sound damping qualities - here again Marc was able to provide great guidance. On the install day (and they did all 17 windows in 1 day), Marc was on our job site several times and made sure to go over some decisions we made about the Awning windows again in person. I was pleased to see he was involved but his installers were excellent - careful with our new Marble counter tops and outside plants. They left the job site cleaned up and took all the trash and demo'd windows.

Outstanding! I used Angie's List to first identify 2 of the very top rated window replacement companies, of which MWT Home Improvement was one, as well as got pricing for similar windows from Lowe's. I found Marc Tompkins to be very knowledgeable, personable and low pressure when he first came out to take measurements for his pricing and to show me the 2 types of windows he carries, and also when he came back to show my wife his samples. We decided to go with his Simonton 5500 windows because they were even better quality than comparable Simonton windows from Lowe's and his pricing was considerably better than from either Lowe's or the other highly rated contractor from Angie's List. In addition to great pricing the professionalism of Marc's installation crew was really impressive. The 3-man crew showed up right on time and immediately got to work in a very organized fashion. First they unloaded all the windows and distributed them around the house to make sure the order was correct and complete. We are planning to remodel our master bath soon so didn't replace 2 of those windows at this time, so the crew immediately called Marc to make sure there wasn't something missing, which there wasn't but we appreciated them wanting to make sure. After that question was answered the crew systematically went through the house in a synchronized fashion. Each guy did specific tasks to quickly and efficiently move from window to window like a well oiled machine. When they were done the crew waited briefly for Marc to come by and inspect all the windows and to make sure my wife was completely satisfied with all aspects of the job. Marc and his guys were always very cordial, clean, polite and professional. The windows themselves operate great and look fantastic from both inside and out. We are really looking forward to doing our friends and family a huge favor by turning them on to Marc's team and highly recommend MWT to all Angie's List members - their pricing, quality and service really can't be beat!

Mark was very professional, and very informative. He gave me a very reasonable price, half of what Champion Windows wanted for the same job. His crew was there on time and had the job done in one day. They cleaned up after their selves, including my hardwood floor. The crew was very friendly. It was amazing to watch them take an old window out and have the new one in in less than 20 minutes. I would recommend them to anyone and I will use them again for screening in my back porch, and also replacing my siding.

They did an excellent job and were fantastic to work with. I would definitely use them again.

The picture windows (6 large and 2 sidelites) install was very professional and went smoothly. Quick and clean and professional. The sliding glass door took a bit more work and the first install was not satisfactory. Marc was prompt about responding and getting it fixed right away. The windows look great and we can no longer feel the wind inside the house!

We had a great experience with MWT. We found them originally on Angie's List. I had gotten three other bids for windows. Marc was responsive and great to work with. Our home is 20 years old, and the builder-grade windows in front were rotting around the ledges. Also, perhaps because of settling and not quite fitting right to begin with, a couple had 1/4 inch gaps to the outside. We liked that the windows are made by a company in Georgia. It took about 3-4 weeks from order time to installation. The crew that installed them were professional, quick, and did a wonderful job. They cleaned up everything afterward. We absolutely love the windows and only wish we could change out the ones on the back of our home ... when we can spring for that expense, we will definitely call MWT again.

Marc was prompt and courteous. He came out for an estimate, got back to me quickly and his price was competitive with the other providers I received estimates from. The windows arrived within the time frame quoted, which I believe was about 2 weeks. The installers were professional, kept the job site clean and did a great job installing the windows. They look great!

Marc was wonderful to work with, and we were extremely happy with the work that he and his team completed. We got quotes from 4 different companies, and Marc's wasn't the absolute lowest, but was close. Notably, his quote was nearly 40% less than a quote that we got from Exovations. It was important to us to work with a company that is EPA lead-safe certified, and MWT is. Marc was very knowledgeable and helpful in selecting the right windows for our house. We were under pressure to schedule the job quickly, as we wanted to get it done before our new baby arrived. As it happened, our baby arrived a month early, just days before the work was scheduled. Marc and his team were great, and worked to minimize the disruption. They completed the work quickly, and left the house immaculate. The new windows made such a huge difference to our house -- it's now more than a year after they completed the work, and we still marvel at how great the house now looks and feels.

Received 3 quotes to replace approximately 30 windows in my house. Marc's estimate process was the smoothest by far. There is a lot of salesmanship and pressure with window estimates, and MWT was by far the best of the lot. The job was then performed without a hitch. The job was done on time and importantly was done neatly. I would not hesitate to use Marc again or recommend him.

We had used Marc about a year earlier to replace five windows in our family room and kitchen. When we were ready to replace the remaining 11 single-pane windows we had no doubt as to who we would call. As was the previous case, Marc was punctual and professional from the initial visit to scope the job, provide the estimate, keep us informed during the manufacturing process, and complete the installation. Marc & his team did a great job with a real eye for detail. Marc has a great working relationship with the manufacturers. There were several sashes and picture windows that had minor flaws that we didn't even notice, but he did. He had the manufacturers provided replacements and replaced them at no charge. Fair price, great workmanship & great service. Highly recommend.

This was a positive experience form beginning to end! We had had received several estimates and Marc came in close to the bottom but with a much higher quality window. (He actually came in significantly less than another contractor who used the lowest quality product of the same brand of window.) Once we had decided to let MWT home improvement do the job, Marc came back and very carefully measured each window--another contractor just estimated the size of a high window because he didn't want to climb a ladder to get to it.) Our three garage windows face the front of the house. They didn't need to be replaced but we wanted to make sure the new windows were compatible with the old ones. Marc suggested replacing the molding around the old windows to match the new ones. They look great! The day of the install the crew showed up on time. We were thrilled how quickly and efficiently they worked. The windows were installed in 5 1/2 hours. As they were packing up to leave I walked around the house and was pleasantly surprised to find no trash left behind. The crew was completely professional and were a pleasure to deal with. Marc actually spent most of the day on the job site. When the door came in Marc sent a second crew to install it. We couldn't have been more pleased! A friend, who had had MWT install her windows 10 years ago, recommended Marc. I have already given his contact information to three friends who plan to have windows replaced in the next couple of years and we told Marc that we plan to have him replace the bedroom windows replaced next summer.
