They were excellent. They did an excellent job. They were very professional. The quality of the windows is excellent. They just were nice and easy to work with.

Marc (the owner) came to our house to quote 7 windows and a french door in our sun room. I had previously had the job quoted (by another company) and was told the project would require several days worth of work, including the removal of all the trim surround the windows followed by the replacement of new trim in its place. The estimate we received from that company was over $13K. Marc began his visit by noticing our windows in another section of the house (replaced a couple of years ago). He indicated that we could get the same style and manufacturer from him if we so desired. During his visit, he provided all the information we needed, then made sure all of our questions were answered. My wife and I were very pleased with the entire interaction. His quote was reasonable based on the previous replacement windows we purchased, and much more in line with our expectations versus the $13K. Much to my surprise, he informed us that his team would not need to remove any of the trim, and in fact, the total install would only require about half a day. I was very pleased to hear that, and to be honest, a bit skeptical. We eventually decided to purchase the windows and delay on the door for a few months. The windows arrived and Marc's team did in fact install all 7 windows in about 5 hours. No trim was damaged, and the work site was cleaned very well. The new windows look great, everything works properly, and we are very happy. Overall, we had an excellent experience from start to finish. A few days after the windows were installed, we had an emergency and needed to have a door replaced on short notice. Marc was the first person I called - although we couldn't get our schedules to match and I ended up using another company, Marc went above and beyond trying to help me out, even though my request was a last minute job right before the holidays. I am happy to give MWT my highest recommendation, and have already started talking to them about that french door!

I couldn't be more pleased. The windows were delivered as promised and were installed on my schedule. I had 13 windows installed and 3 picture windows. The guys cleaned up and Mr. Tomkins personally came by to check the cleanup as well. I was very impressed with Marc Tomkins as a salesperson. He was not at all high pressure (some were) and answered all my questions personally and promptly by phone or by email. As I interviewed the other 5, I always had more questions. Did I say he was patient??? The biggest plus is that he cleaned all the windows top to bottom right after install. The other vendors said they would peel off the sticker but I would have to wash them. A man that cleans windows!! Who wouldn't love this???

MWT was on time, worked quickly and efficiently, communicated at each phase of the installation, advised me of and corrected problems I did not know existed, and left my property clean and orderly. My new windows are wonderful -- everthing I expected and more. Marc was onsite for the majority of the work which made me very confident that I would receive exactly what I was promised.

I contacted MWT Home Improvements for an estimate for window and door replacements. I LOVED that it was the owner who came out and not a sales person. He was on time, super nice, very knowledgeable, and explained everything in terms that I could understand. The quote was extremely reasonable and he promptly responded to all of my follow-up questions. What I didn't know before I started this whole process was that there are so many different window options and some of the manufactures limit their dealers or have exclusive dealers. So after narrowing things down to a few great companies, I ended up basing my final decision on the window that I liked best for my home and particular needs. Unfortunately, that was not with MWT, but I'm confident they would have done a great job with the installation. If you're in the market for new windows and/or doors, I recommend you at least give them a call for an estimate.

The overall experience was wonderful! The workers were fast, courteous and unless you were there, you would never know that there had been work done in my home. I have recommended him to several of my neighbors

They were extremely knowledgeable. They seemed to know windows more than the sales. They knew everything and had an answer for every question we asked, told us the difference between the wood and the vinyl. They had excellent knowledge. We went with them because of the way they acted and their professionalism. As for responsiveness he calls us every two or three days and tells us how the work is going on. For customer service we have had nobody who has treated us so nicely.

Marc was extremely professional and responsive. My job was smaller than those he ordinarily accepts, but he knew I was in need and helped me out anyway. He kept in touch with me, gave me a fair estimate, completed the work before I expected, and did extremely high quality work. His crew left my property clean and in excellent condition. I expect to replace my windows soon, and will definitely give him my business.

All the work was performed as described and on time. Mark was onsite to not only supervise; but perform work as needed. No issues, no problems. We're very satisfied with the finished work; and we highly recommend their services.

It is outstanding. We had a problem with rain water leaking in, it has since been perfectly dry. The door is gorgeous. Mark Tompkins is the owner. He provided me a quote and they did it on time for that amount of money. We are very happy with them.

Marc came to give us an estimate and he was so impressive with his knowledge of the product. He was very willing to share his knowledge so that we could be educated consumers. During our gathering of estimates he was willing to answer our additional questions, even if the pertained to another provider. He came back for a second time to go over some things and help us make our final decision. We did give a deposit and he ordered our windows, which arrived in exactly the time frame that he predicted. On the installation day, he and his crew were here promptly and completed the job in an amazingly efficient manner. The installation crew was pleasant and respectful of our property, even taking off their shoes when they came indoors. They very obviously knew their stuff and showed pride in doing the very best job. Marc was here for most of the day, and he cleaned all the windows after installed. (nice touch!) There was a small glitch that the factory made one window the wrong size, and Marc would not accept even a portion of the final payment until the work was completed. They came exactly on time the next Monday, fitting it into my limited schedule, finished the job and they made a couple of small adjustments to my kitchen window while they were here. I cannot say enough about what a good experience it was to deal with Marc and the fine gentlemen that did the installation. We are quite particular about how things are done, and Marc Tomkins exceeded our expectations. We plan to have him install a couple of new doors for us in the fall.

I contacted Mark in May to get an estimate on a room that needed windows replaced. He responded promptly with a visit to our house and we discussed possible options to reduce the temperature of a room with an eastern and southern exposure. His written estimate was timely, detailed and included everything from materials to clean-up. We agreed on a date for the installation. Mark and his team were on time and completed the job by early afternoon. It was at that time that I asked Mark to give me another estimate for windows in other rooms to be done in a month or so. Again the estimate was thorough and a date for the job was set for today. The team was here as scheduled. The installations were completed and the job site cleaned up by 2:00. Overall I am pleased with the products and installation provided by Mark and his team.

Marc was extremely pleasant and flexible with our schedule. He was the only one who could offer lead abatement as well as dual color exterior/interior trim. The windows he installed are beautiful and well-installed. And to top it off, he offered the most reasonable price by far. We will use him to replace all of the windows in our house!

They were just great. I interviewed a number of different companies and I thought he had a good presentation and a good price. They gave me a time that they would take care of anything and they said I didn’t need to do any prep; they took the wall hangings down, moved the furniture, and did other things like that. They were exactly on time, they were done within three hours, and they cleaned up. I have been very satisfied with the windows. He gave me the option of two different windows.

Originally, we inquired about installing new storm windows, but after consulting with Marc, he advised that they would not do what we were hoping they would and would be redundant with our newer double pane windows. (We live on a busy street and were hoping that the additional coverage might reduce the noise level.) Even though our project turned out to be a very small one and I'm not sure really worth the time it took them to do it, Marc and his employees were prompt, courteous, and professional.The work was top notch and they provided contact information in case we had problems/questions going forward. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. We plan to use this company next year to replace our aging gutters and soffits.

From my very first interaction with him, Marc was helpful and responsive to my concerns. He always returned phone calls and e-mail messages promptly. He and his workers were right on time and they cleaned up the work area after they finished the job. the job was done right the first time. I am 100% satisfied with their work and would not hesitate to employ them in the future.

HE STAYS IN TOUCH FROM THE FIRST MEETING THROUGH INSTALLATION AND CHECKS BACK TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE TOTALLY SATISFIED. I COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE SATISFIED. As any diligent consumer should, I contacted three separate companies for quotes. After meeting with the first two, not getting a return call from one, and not being satisfied with the method for which one was planning to install the windows, I did a bit more research and contacted Marc. My partner and I could not have been happier with his presentation, knowledge and commitment to his product and service. First impressions are everything, and when Marc walked in the house with his business license, and two huge stacks of references I knew that he meant business...good business. He walked us through the same info that the other companies had provided, but his keen attention to detail and his honesty was unmatched. When asked if he would be on site for the install he said..."Oh yes, I even clean your windows myself". His family owns The Tompkins Company which manufactures some of the windows that he sells, and I thought that this was a really nice extra to his already convincing sales pitch. We decided to talk about things and asked Marc to return at a later date, which he did and we signed the paperwork to begin the work. Unlike other companies, Marc only required 30% down, which in this cash strapped economy, was a welcomed bonus. Three weeks was the time frame he gave us, and he delivered as promised. He called to confirm the appt. and knowing that I had recently had major surgery, he seemed to be concerned that the timing was right for me seeing as I was recovering. His team showed up right on time at around 7:45am and got right to work. In no time, the windows were installed. Throughout the day, neighbors dropped by and admired the work, took his card and seemed very impressed with his workmanship. At around 2:30pm he called...windows were in. I eagerly rushed home to find that our home looked brand new! Just marvelous and we could not be happier. The guys had placed all of our furniture back where it belonged, restored the blinds, everything was neat and clean as though they had never been there. We are still needing to replace three back windows, and our backyard apartment windows as well as some gutter work. Marc is the only person that will do the job. As a matter of fact, good friends of ours around the corner took our advice and just signed a contract with Marc for their windows. He is a class act...and my partner and I think that he is simply the best. Being homeowners for only two years, we have been burned a bit by handy men and such...its nice to know that we finally have someone in our corner. Marc and MWT are the BEST. You cannot go wrong with him.

Installation of windows was much faster and cleaner than expected..Very professional workmen and a wonderful product. Really looks great and function well.

Service and work was great. Windows were ordered to match existing interior and exterior finishes. Windows were replaced without damaging surrounding woodwork or walls. Crew cleaned up after themselves. Windows seem to be very strong and they open and close easily.

Marc and his crew was great to work with. They did an excellent job from start to finish. I also appreciate their attention to details. I've already recommended MWT to several of my neighbors.

They were excellent and did a great job. They finished the job in one day and a couple of hours the next morning, but basically it was done in one day. The windows were excellent quality too. They were dead on and a little, I mean they have their own brand that they manufacture and I guess that in my mind they were just as bit and less expensive and excellent. They've made a huge difference in my natural gas usage in the first full month. I can compare the bill and this was just by replacing the windows and this was pretty remarkable.

They did a very good job. They did what they said they were going to do and they completed the service in the amount of time they said it was going to take them.

This was the most pleasurable experience of all home improvements projects with which we have dealt. Marc is very knowledgeable, professional, prompt, and conscientious about seeing that his promises are fulfilled. He patiently answered the many questions we had and provided us with a couple of options in terms of windows from which to choose. On the day of the project, Marc was present with his crew almost the entire time. The crew was fast and efficient and completed the project in a timely manner. Later, when I contacted Marc with a minor issue I was having with one window he immediately responded and came out to show me what I was doing wrong as I manipulated the window for cleaning. I would highly recommend Marc over all of the other companies we interviewed!
