They did a great job. Mark, the owner, was personally involved in every step of the process from window selection to inspection with me at the end of the job. Everything was done as promised without exception. Look forward to using him for a siding job.

Marc was very prompt in responding to messages and was very communicative in explaining the process. He was flexible with my work schedule and was truly a delight to work with. He had a very efficient and polite crew who got the job done quicker than I expected! I would definitely recommend Marc and his company for any window replacement or repair.

MWT was one of 4 companies we met with to make our decision. Marc was very informative, didn't try to oversell us, and came in with an excellent bid. Not the lowest, not the hightest, but what we felt was the most realistic by including ALL fees. He helped us to recognize areas where we could save money by incorporating one large window vs. 2 - 3 smaller windows. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Love the look of the windows and the ease of use. Ordering, delivery & installation were a breeze. Installation went just as planned with one small exception. We had also ordered an exterior screened / storm door which was incorrectly shipped. We did not receive the door we had requested but did not realize it until it had already been installed! Once Marc was made aware of the problem, he assured us it would be taken care of with no additional cost. We were allowed to keep the incorrect door in place until the proper door arrived. There were no questions or trying to talk us into keeping the first door. This company was very professional and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them.

Mark was great as was his crew. My home is 85+ years old and so there was lead paint on my old, drafty windows. Mark removed my old windows cleanly - windows wrapped in plastic to prevent any old lead paint from flaking off - and installed new windows quickly and professionally. Clean up was great. Will use again for all my window needs.

The service was excellent. They were responsive, polite, respectful and the price was fair. I have to give special credit to the installation team. They respected my home and did a quality job of installing the replacement windows. I was very pleased and told the owner so.

After 3 years of researching and collecting bids from multiple contractors/ window companies, we selected MWT Home Improvement to replace our original 1976 spec windows with Simonton 5500 Reflections: double hung. 1/8" glass, Low E/Argon replacement windows. We had been dreading the scope of this project, but after several meetings, internet research about Simonton and a tour of a prior job site, we felt completely comfortable trusting Marc's team to take care of our home. It was the easiest and cleanest project ever done at our home. Three weeks after the windows were ordered, Marc and his team showed up to do the install. We have extensive landscaping that I did not want disrupted by the project. Not a single plant disturbed. I was concerned about the interior of my home filling with dust. My windows were sealed from the interior, the windows were removed and the replacements installed. It took two days to complete the entire project. The installers were polite, neat and courteous. Marc even cleaned my new windows before leaving. I would definitely recommend MWT Home Improvement to my friends and family. We plan to do future projects with this company. We have enjoyed our new windows. They are well insulated, keep exterior noise to a minimum and are extremely easy to clean. BTW, our job did not exceed the original quote. We have no complaints.

Our old windows were fogging because of leaking seals. I wanted the finger grip style matched to the existing windows if possible and Marc recognized immediately that they were Tucker windows so he ordered the exact same ones. I think we waited 2 weeks for the windows to be delivered and then Marc dropped off the sashes before installation so we could paint the exterior.. That was very helpful. The sashes were installed in less than an hour by two of his employees who were very punctual and professional. They even caulked the stop trim on the inside when they put it back. The windows fit well. Their estimate was $50 under another highly rated company on this site. I'm a stickler for communication and Marc exceeded all expectations. I'm 100% satisfied and would call MWT for any window or door work in the future. When you have window and door work done, be sure to ask for the manufacturer's warrantly and proof of purchase.

Although we had to wait several weeks for the materials, once they were received by MWT, they came out and were able to install the window in one day, and they did a good job of clean up.

MWT's very competitive pricing, along with all the positive reviews on Angie's List, made it an easy decision. And we weren't disappointed. Mark, Danny, and crew were always punctual, cleaned up after themselves, and completed the job as prescribed. We have had the windows for over a month now and are still very happy with with the decision.

It went without hitch. The workmen removed windows room by room, and replaced them with the new ones till all were complete. One works inside and two outside on the first day, then on the second day they seal and wrap the window frame. They cleaned up as they went along.

Mark was everything you want in a contractor, timely, no pressure, priced right and able to explain products in great detail. He was also aware and able to work with local historical district zoning regulations. We have plantation shutters and the crew re-installed those as well. The only complaint I could voice, and its a small one, is that when the shutters were re-installed it was done hastily and the fit on some of them needed to be adjusted. Otherwise Mark and his crew left the place just as the found it, perhaps even a bit cleaner. We love having windows that actually open and close with ease and are enjoying the energy savings too. Being very skeptical of most home repairs, I did my due diligent home work in finding the best company. Mark and the MWT Company were the model experience one dreams of. I know this recommendation seems to good to be true ,but it was!! If you want a no brainer without spending hours of endless research then MWT should be your choice. Thanks Charles Baker

Marc and team arrived at 9:30 AM. They first wrap all the windows with plastic to protect the inside. They then remove the existing windows. The process involves installing the new window inside the existing frame, mounting to the existing wood. This means the new windows will be somewhat smaller than the original. As one person removes the existing windows the other follows to insert the new window. They follow up with sealing the framing and removing all debris. The windows were installed in a single day. The team worked around my dogs and children and cleaned up afterward. Marc was on site throughout much of the day, but his team worked fine even when he visited other sites.They were courteous, professional, and the price can't be beat. I also appreciate someone who can communicate via email as effectively as Marc. The doors are such a difference from the existing ones. His door installer came on a different day due to travel, but was just as professional as the others.

We recently purchased a 1958 home which had original windows and doors. You could feel cold air coming through several of the windows, and they just looked horrible on the house. We contacted four window companies to get replacement estimates. Our experienced ranged from terrible to exceptional, and the exceptional experience was with MWT Home Improvment. After meeting with four vendors we chose MWT Home Improvment to replace two doors as well as 13 windows. For the windows we chose Simonton 5500s, and for the doors we picked 6-panel Thermatru doors. Both exceptional products! From the initial consultation to the installation of the windows and doors, Marc Tompkins (the owner of MWT) was a pleasure to work with. He was honest, genuine, backed his suggestions with data and most of all he didn't pressure us into anything. One high pressure sales guy kept pushing overpriced products that didn't fit our home, so it was a relief working with Marc. If I had to grade MWT on a scale of 1 - 10 I would give them a 100. They went above and beyond to make this an exceptional experience, and as you can see from their ratings (ALL As) they are who the Angie's List ratings claim they are. If I could post before and after pictures of our windows and doors you would drop your computer and call Marc to discuss new windows and doors (I assume that's why your reading this review, right?). MWT Home Improvement is the real deal and I would whole heartedly recommend them.

The overall experience with Marc and his crew was pleasant. Marc and his crew are very knowledgable about what they do. That's probably why from the estimate, the quote to the installation was seemless. His crew cleaned up all the debris. The house now looked refreshed and the temperature inside the house is noticeably cooler. It used to be stay hot even when the a/c is running. Now the house stays cooler for longer periods of time.

Marc and his crew were top notch from start to finish. They were punctual, proffessional, and had quality workmanship. I couldnt have asked for any more.

Found Marc on Angie's List - needed windows due to high utility bills, and old wooden windows. Marc arrived timely, measured, and I received a quote. The work started as expected, and went very well. I am very pleased with the outcome.

mwt was on time replacing 12 windows and siding worked quiickly communicated each phase installation everthing i expected and more and it took two day and halve ihighly recommend their services.

I was very happy with the level of personal service I got from MWT. Marc personally counted and measured my windows which other contractors/etc I had estimates from didn't. He actually found more windows than I realized I had which I'm quite thankful for. Despite the unexpected windows MWT came in with a very reasonable bid. The bid included some gutter work that I quite obviously needed. I've been very happy with my new windows. I'm also very happy with the installation of the windows and the gutters I had done. Everything looks beautiful and is working wonderfully. The installers were all very nice and respectful which meant a lot to my wife as she's had some bad experiences with contractors in the past. Marc and his team went above and beyond! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Marc explained the services so I could understand it clearly. The price was very competitive with the 4 other bids I received, one of the bids from another company was outrageous. Also I researched Simonton windows and felt comfortable with Marc personally. The service was excellent. The windows arrived as expected and the 8 casement windows were installed in 1 day. I could immediately hear a sound difference in the house, it was much quieter. I could also feel a significant temperature difference, especially for the west and south facing windows. Most importantly, it has made a significant difference in the electric and gas bills, they are lower and the house feels more comfortable. I wish I had replaced the windows years ago! I would highly recommend MWT Home Improvement.

Excellent experience. I found Marc?s quote to be the lowest - and he was the most thorough during my initial meeting with him. He took careful measurements and looked at the condition of my original wood windows from the exterior of the home too. The windows were installed about 2 weeks ago. Marc and the install team arrived promptly at 8 and were finished by noon, including replacing the exterior trim. They even added trim around my glass block window that wasn?t included in the project so that it would match the other windows! They were very organized and efficient. Also cleaned the windows and their work areas. The windows look great and keep the cold air out (unlike my old drafty single pane windows). They flip in for cleaning and have secure locks. I?m very happy with my decision to have MWT Windows replace them.
