MWT Windows

This was a positive experience form beginning to end! We had had received several estimates and Marc came in close to the bottom but with a much higher quality window. (He actually came in significantly less than another contractor who used the lowest quality product of the same brand of window.) Once we had decided to let MWT home improvement do the job, Marc came back and very carefully measured each window--another contractor just estimated the size of a high window because he didn't want to climb a ladder to get to it.) Our three garage windows face the front of the house. They didn't need to be replaced but we wanted to make sure the new windows were compatible with the old ones. Marc suggested replacing the molding around the old windows to match the new ones. They look great! The day of the install the crew showed up on time. We were thrilled how quickly and efficiently they worked. The windows were installed in 5 1/2 hours. As they were packing up to leave I walked around the house and was pleasantly surprised to find no trash left behind. The crew was completely professional and were a pleasure to deal with. Marc actually spent most of the day on the job site. When the door came in Marc sent a second crew to install it. We couldn't have been more pleased! A friend, who had had MWT install her windows 10 years ago, recommended Marc. I have already given his contact information to three friends who plan to have windows replaced in the next couple of years and we told Marc that we plan to have him replace the bedroom windows replaced next summer.

Marc and his team were great, When Marc first met with me, he showed me samples of several windows and quoted two different products that I liked. Although there was an error in my quote that worked in my favor, Marc honored the original quote. On the date of the install, the team arrived on time an completed my project in under a day. The workmen were cordial and showed respect for my house. They cleaned up after themselves both inside and out. Since I have had the work done, I am extremely pleased with how the project came out and have gotten compliments from friends and neighbors on the quality of work.

Excellent job. The windows look great, have a lifetime warranty. Marc's team showed up exactly on time and installed in a single day. Installation team was efficient, no mess and very professional. We received 3 quotes from 3 Angie's list recommended vendors and Marc's price was most competitive. Highly recommend.

It was fantastic! I needed custom windows and doors, Mark ordered everything, promptly scheduled installation, his 4 guys came in and installed all 9 windows and two sets of exterior doors in a day. Got here at 10am, out the door by 3:30pm. The work is wonderful!

They installed windows on the second floor. They provided a very comprehensive idealization of what they were going to do and they gave me a very good idea of what choices i had. They spend time with me; they treat you extra care to make sure you are comfortable with the process, they are very neat. And their workmanship was high quality.

They missed the appointment with no call. We gave them a second chance and we called them and they said that they would come the next day and they again no showed without a call.

I called Marc for a quote to install new Exterior Doors for our home. We did not ask Marc for a door quote simply because, after several years of (casually) looking for the right door glass (my wife and I had rather different ideas as to the glass style), we finally found and have purchased. Marc and I only spoke over the phone (he did not come out to see the project.) After me emailing him photos of the existing doors, which one would require widening, he provided me a best estimate. I too am a small business owner (commercial cabling contractor) so I know the sales & estimate "game". Marc was very professional, was reasonably prompt in responding to voicemail messages and asked/answered all the right questions. I appreciated the time he spent with me on the phone but we chose to go with someone else. Though I will definitely call on him again if/when the need presents.

Marc was punctual and nice enough to come to our home in the evening to accomadate our schedule. He was very professional and knowledgable about windows. He spent time educating us on windows and ratings but did not take the whole evening. There was no high pressure sales pitch and he got back to us quickly with a quote. His price for Simonton windows was the best quote we received overall. We did not use his company only because we liked another brand of windows offered by another company. I felt very comfortable with Marc who seemd to value the customer service and quality. It was a much better experience than Window World for a very similar price. I would defintely recommend him to anyone looking to replace their windows.

MWT was great. Process went very smoothly. Marc was a very low pressure salesman, which was appreciated as some of quotes we got from other salesmen were quite pushy. MWT was very responsive throughout the process, both via email and phone. They were able to work around my schedule to conduct the install, which also went very smoothly. We are very happy with our windows.

After much research and reviewing of many contractors, I chose Marc & MWT to replace 9 windows in my 1961 home. Marc & his team were outstanding from start to finish. Marc was easy to reach, always punctual/professional, and was quick to answer any questions i may have had. I got several quotes for the job and felt Marc was very competitive on the price and his team provided top notch installation. The entire process could not have gone more smoothly. Marc had a no pressure presentation, several pages of references, gave me several options on styles/manufactures/price points, explained the differences between brands/styles and ultimately allowed me the customer to choose what fit my needs with no pressure to sign a contract or close the sale. The turn around time from ordering the windows to delivery was shorter than the expected from Simonton and Marc was able to adjust his schedule so that they could be installed prior to our agreed upon completion date. Marc's team showed up promptly on the installation date, were quick & clean with their work, and provided a very professional installation. Marc was on-site both at the start and completion of the job to make sure things went smoothly and that I was satisfied with the work. I've waited a few months to post a review so that I could test the windows during both Winter/Spring. All I can say is I don't know why I put off getting new windows for 5 years. My house now feels like a home again, beautiful working windows, increased efficiency, and lower utility bills. I look forward to working with Marc again in the future. The entire process went smoothly and professionally. Marc was very nice and answered all questions promptly. When he arrived, he showed samples and explained different aspects of the windows. We went with Tomco windows, middle grade. The prices were competitive, and for several windows we mimicked the old Mission style. We couldn't be happier with the results. The windows came in early, and they were installed in just a few hours. The house is so much quieter now that we no longer have the ancient single pane, leaky windows.

I had replaced the majority of my windows a number of years ago using a big box retailer. When I called them again to replace the remaining 7 windows, the price was outrageous (>$1000/window). I contacted Marc after reading the reviews on Angie's List. He arrived promptly for our initial meeting, was very respectful of my time (I knew what I wanted, didn't need a sales meeting) and gave me a quote on the spot. While we were talking I mentioned needing to replace the siding and he said he did that too. He offered to give me a quote in a few days, he needed to bring his siding expert back with him. In the meantime I got a quote from another company and again Marc's quote was better. I hired him for both jobs, replacing the windows and the siding. His team showed up on the day we agreed, worked diligently all day long and did an outstanding job. They came back the next week and replaced the windows. There was not an ounce of debris in my yard which was important because I have 4 dogs and 2 children. I highly recommend Marc. He is prompt, respectful of your time and knowledgeable. He is also a great communicator via phone and email.

Marc was very responsive and helpful in providing info on the process. He came back multiple times to measure since we had an unusual sized unit. Ordering and costs were presented in a straight forward manner. Once our doors arrived scheduling for install was quick and easy. Marc's crew arrived on time and got to work quickly and finished in one day. The quality of the workmanship was exceptional and clean up was also very good. I would reccomend MWT and plan to use for future projects.

When we decided to replace our windows, I was fairly sure that we would use either MWT or Brand ?. Both had been highly recommended with the only negative being Brand ?'s initial very long in home presentation. Our Grandson had used MWT for replacement of his windows and could not say enough good about everything, from the in home presentation to the finish of the project. We contacted Marc (MWT) and he came out on a very wet and rainy Saturday. His presentation was to the point and informative. We also discussed getting a price to replace the aluminum siding on our home with concrete fiberboard and a new back door. Two days later we had his quotation. Fast forward seven weeks and our mid 70's 2,800 sq. ft. home looks brand new. The job is completely finished and what a difference. We have a new back door with a hideaway screen, twenty beautiful new Thompkin windows, new Nichiha concrete fiberboard siding and new Nichiha soffit and fascia. All I can say is that Marc is the best. You could not ask more of a contractor. His crews are polite, respectful, detail oriented and as professional as any I have ever seen anywhere. We have no reservations recommending Marc (MWT) for windows, doors and or siding replacement. Would we use them again, in a heartbeat. In fact, we are discussing another possible project with Marc now.

We hired MWT to replace the drafty, single-pane windows that we original to our home built in 1950. He and his team did a superb job. To start with, Marc's customer service skills are fabulous. He returned calls quickly or let us know that he would call later if he was busy. He showed up when he said he would, and called ahead to ask permission to come if he needed to make an unscheduled stop here. He answered every question without hesitation and worked creatively and hard to meet all our needs. He was polite, easy to work with, and thorough in every way. (In response to a request for help with another aspect of insulating our home, Marc referred us to a good company which would be able to do the job for less money and more efficiently than his crew could. We really appreciated that consideration.) Finally, when some minor corrections needed to be made along the way, Marc was prompt in addressing and making them. He truly left nothing "hanging". What a pleasure. Marc's team was also fabulous. The person who did the staining of the inside part of our new windows came over three times to make sure we were happy with the color, which was difficult to match with existing molding. The installers worked quickly (they did the job in below-freezing temperatures), made sure that they protected carpets and furniture from dust, and cleaned up. They, too, were polite, accommodating, and thorough. The quality of our windows is fabulous. They look beautiful and work well. We are following up this job with a front door replacement and look forward to working with Marc on that and other projects in the future. We couldn't have made a better choice of contractors for our home.

We spoke with several replacement window companies before deciding to work with Marc and his team. We are glad we went with MWT Home Improvement - from the initial consultation to installation to clean-up, his team was knowledgeable and professional. Not only did we get quality windows / service, I believe we got a good value for our money. The windows have not only resulted in energy savings but have improved the street appeal of our house. We chose Marc and team to install our new windows in January 2013. We interviewed a few different companies before we made our decision. After speaking with all, Marc was by far the most professional and knowledgeable and gave us piece of mind that the work would be done well. Price was on target with others, however I felt the quality of Marc's product was better. The team came in on a monday and completed the entire job in 1.5 days. Very good work! The house looks so much better and is more efficient than ever. I would definitely use them again for other project around the house and will refer them for years to come!

Marc is a fantastic guy! We could absolutely could not be anymore pleased. We had other well known window companies come out and their prices were a whole lot more. We did reviews on them as well...only to find many people totally dissatisfied with their work. The other fantastic reviews on a Marc and his company could not be more spot! Marc and his team were fantastic to work with: quality products, friendly and professional service, and my windows and doors look wonderful! Marc provided a very thorough overview and quote, with no pressure. Ordering the windows and scheduling installation went very quickly. Installation was a breeze, the crew was efficient and CLEAN the whole way through, done in a day! I wanted 1 window replaced, he said he has other big jobs that take precedence and that he can't really make money unless he does at least 4 windows. I said ok I could do 4, come by when you are in the neighborhood and give me a quote. |Haven't heard since.

It couldn't have gone more smoothly! Amazing! Did the whole house in one day, with no mess. We left for work with our old windows, and came back at the end of the day with all the new windows in, and no sign of any construction, as if it had been done by magic. Incredible customer service and amazing professionalism. Definitely go with MWT.

They Installed 18 Alside Excalibur double hung windows and one door . Except for two of them the windows had different colors on outside and inside, as wanted. All windows had 3/4tr" double pane insulated glass units (double strength glass), climatic glass (low e/argon), ETC carbon liners, double security and vent latches, foam wrap at frame exterior, and half screens. The windows were installed exterior to interior (interior trim was not disturbed). They replaced any/all rotten wood at exterior trim (brickmold, sill, and sill nose). They wrapped all the exterior window trim in G8 scratch resistant aluminum coil, sealed at interior and exterior with paintable latex caulk and seal at exterior with 100%-non porous RTV Silicone caulk. They handled window treatments and furniture placement as necessary throughout the installation, and cleaned all job related debris upon completion. Marc and his team did a great job. They did all of the above in one day, with little disturbance to us. They were courteous at all times. Before leaving, Marc gave me instructions on how to tilt the windows so that they can be cleaned from inside the house. After they left, I noticed that one screen had a small hole in it. Marc came back within a few days and replaced the screen for me.

This is the second set of Windows Marc has replaced for me. I have an older home and wanted to have energy efficient windows at a price that was appropriate for the price range of the home. I had used another provider for the first four, and they were OK, but I thought I would try an Angies list provider for the next. We chose Marc and his team based on the reviews here and they did not dissapoint. We broke the job up in to two or three groups of 4 - 5 windows each. They were on time and look great - plus the price was equal to or better than the other provider. I recommend Marc and MWT and would use them again.
