Description of Work: I brought them a motorcycle key blank and they cut a couple perfect copies for me quickly. They seem to be very knowledgeable and professional. Plus they only charged me $1 for the key blank I brought myself and $2 for the key they made from their own blank. They have a large variety of key blanks in stock.

Description of Work: We have a dog that goes crazy in thunderstorms including going into closets and trashing everything (he is proficient at opening door handles with his teeth. We chose to put deadbolts on several interior doors both to keep the dog out and to keep this rooms secured when we have people come into our house, such as the dog sitter). All these locks are keyed the same (but different from our front door since we give the front door key to folks who work in our house). | |Mr. Locksmith showed up on time, did a quality, very professional job, and completed quickly.

 + -1 moreHe was late arriving, but did call to let us know of his delay. The delay was not a problem for us. He re-keyed 3 locks and installed 2 double deadbolt locks and 1 single deadbolt. The work was good. He left everything as clean as it was when he arrived. We couldn't have asked for a better job or better locksmith.

Description of Work: Did a professional, capable job but was continually on the phone answering calls from other prospective customers (often at considerable length). Since the job was fixed price ($X per lock) there was no financial impact, but it was annoying both the distraction of the calls and considerably extending the time he was in the house. | |On the other hand, the work was first rate including one particularly difficult lock (keyed on both sides in a somewhat slim door). Maybe I just got him when he had no office support or some other issue.

 + -1 moreWhen I bought my townhouse the owner did not have a key to the lock on the storm door. I removed the lock at took it into Mr. Locksmith. I had no idea who the manufacturer was on the door. They made three keys for me based on this lock. I was surprised at how reasonably priced they were. They did a good job.

 + -1 moreThe service tech got there really fast and was able to unlock my door in just a few mins. Not to down the guy (who obviously knows his trade) but it looked as though his appearance wasn't too important to him. If I owned a company that was basically proving to the client that my company can break into their house- I would stress the importance of professionalism and have a dress code. Also, he didn't bother to take off his shoes (even though he saw me and my house keeper taking off ours) or even wiping them on the mat. I am not one to tell anyone to take their shoes off before they can come into my house and fortunately the floors were going to be cleaned anyway- but some courtesy would've been nice.

 + -1 moreWayne from Mr. Locksmith was very flexible. I had called earlier in the month and explained my situation (having a moving closing date on a foreclosed property). He knew I wanted the locks changed as soon as we officially purchased the house. I was able to call his office as soon as we finished the closing on the house, and he was there within an hour. He gave me suggestions on the best way to secure our house, which I appreciated as well.
Description of Work: The technician rekeyed 7 locks and made 3 sets of three keys. Also had to pick four of those locks that I did not have existing keys for. The re-keys cost $13.50 each with an additional $7.50 for each lock that had to be picked.

 + -1 moreI called them on a Wednesday and set up an early Friday morning appt (my choice of time) Tony was extremely nice and friendly. He was right on time and got to work quickly and quietly. He made do with what he had for our front door as some of the parts were missing. overall he did a great job and I would definitely hire him again.
Description of Work: We had 4 doors re keyed (2 locks per door) he charges 13.50 per door and an extra 8 if you don't have the key to the door. Had him put back together the door handle on our front door (1930's complicated door) that we had taken off to have refinished. Took him about an hour, he charged us $70 he also charged us 63.50 for a "trip charge"
