+ 0 moreThe installers were on time and completely professional and even though the original framing for the doors (when the house was constructed) was not completely straight, they made the necessary adjustments to compensate for the previous errors. They explained the process to me throughout and unless you knew that the initial measurements were not straight you would not be able to see them. I am very happy with all of the work they have done and I will use them for future projects.
Description of Work: I have had several projects completed by Mini Jobs with the most recent project being the installation of custom doors and I have been pleased with their work.

+ -1 moreWorker arrived late, did not bring tools needed to perform some of the tasks hired to do (told me I'd have to reschedule). In addition, owner overcharged me for both labor (worker didn't work as many hours as claimed) and materials (didn't use some of the materials claimed). Neither owner nor worker refused provided receipts for materials they sought reimbursement for. When I sent an email to owner to request receipts and dispute charges, he took over TWO MONTHS to reply. To avoid argument, I compromised by paying less than invoiced, but more than I owed.
Description of Work: Various and sundry projects (e.g., install mirror, repair door, install bathroom fixtures).

+ 3 moreIt all went well -- bathrooms look great. Throughout Tim would consult with me to be sure I liked the way things were looking to ensure there were no surprises. I was especially pleased with the solution he came up with for closet doors --I had been perplexed about what to do and it turned out very well. It is comfortable inviting Mini Jobs into our home as I know their staff over the years. I already know which projects I will ask them to tackle next.
Description of Work: In my most recent project with Mini Jobs they removed wallpaper, propdrly re-surfaced and painted a bathroom -- including cabinets --, installed new fixtures -- faucets, cabinet hardware, towel racks, doorknobs They also fitted, installed, painted double closet doors and painted a set of stairs and risers They also replaced numerous doorknobs throughout my house. Prior to this project they worked on other bathrooms in my house a few months ago -- removing wallpaper, painting and installing lights, faucets, etc. Through the years they have laid flooring, painted several rooms, and done all sorts of miscellaneous home improvements.

+ -1 moreI had them come back. They did a very good job, and it was a timely job. They did it backwards and I them come back. Otherwise, they did a good job. It was $99 for four hours of work, but they brought two people, so it ended up being for two hours of work. They did fine, and were pleasant people. He was training the person with him, so they weren't totally professional. If both had experience, then I would use them again.
Description of Work: Mini Jobs hung my bike rack. It was a Big Deal purchase.

The lead time between the initial inquiry and the actual service was so long I would probably have someone else do it. The estimate was pretty far off from the actual cost by a couple of hundred dollars.
Description of Work: I have crown molding outside and it had some wood rot. So, they replaced the rotted part of it.

It worked out fine. The faucets are all working properly. They came on in an emergency basis. They were here around 12:30 in the afternoon, about 3 hours after I called them.

+ -1 moreWe were quoted a certain price but when receiving the invoice we were overcharged by 35% (with no written/oral notice before hand) with a "discount" of $300 if we paid within 5 days. In simple terms, you can only get the quoted price if you pay in 5 days. Our emails and phone calls were not returned when trying to contact David about the matter. On top of the unethical billing practices the work was certainly not the best I've ever paid for. Pass on this one and take the time to find someone better.
