I was told that I could not successfully refinance my home with a cash out option. My previous mortgage company insisted that I had to continue to pay PMI and that there was no options for me to do much of anything, but continue to pay my mortgage at its current rate. Rett Mercer, Unlike any other financial professional lead Me to believe otherwise. Everything started with $1000 check which turned into a cash out refinance on my home. I was able to consolidate all my credit cards As well as some other debt with enough leftover to do some home improvements. Rett encouraged that WE revisit the loan within the next year or so to perhaps lower the APR. Rett Mercer Made the process enjoyable. He did not make me feel as though I had to jump through all the bureaucratic hoops, and had no time that I feel demoralized by the system. He was very encouraging and obviously well-versed in his financial disciplines. Everyone of his colleagues that I spoke to were very much the same. I had not one crossword with anyone from Milend. Everyone was very patient and forthright explaining every detail that I had questions about. The process was Extremely quick in my case, despite all of the regulations, restrictions and policies put forth by the industry and of course, our greedy government. I would wholeheartedly recommend these folks to anyone looking to refinance.

Our mortgage originator Clara was top notch. We closed within thirty days. She answered all our questions from beginning to the end. The check they sent out in the beginning came at a time we needed the money. Our refinance is what we needed to pay bills and get back on top after my knee replacement in December.

I frequently heard about MiLend on the radio and reached out when we were purchasing home. I was connected with Ben McDougald and he definitely came through. Ben was there 100%, responding days, nights and weekends. He and his entire team I dealt with (Catherine Coleman, Lori O’Connor, and Kara Grimes) were completely focused on customer service and watching out for my best interest from beginning to end. MiLend Inc. on the other hand was a perfect match for helping me assist my parents. The Lead Consultant, Benjamin Brooks Stegman, was very compassionate and knowledgeable. We were blessed to have had Benjamin and his team assisting us. They are very resourceful and empowered us to be informed consumers. All these key factors made us feel comfortable in knowing that MiLend Inc. had our best interest at the very core of the entire process. The team was with us every step of the way and my parents benefiting very positively in the end. As a result, I would highly reccomend MiLend Inc. to any one with mortgage company challenges/dead end.

This loan processor went out of his way to lie to me. I told him I specifically wanted the FHA Streamline loan and he tried to sell me something else. When I complained about the $14k in closing fees and such, he tried to sell me something else which was just as bad. And NEITHER OF THESE were the FHA Streamline loan I originally contacted them about. I found out about his scam when I started getting suspicious of his antics. I contacted two other mortgage companies and both quoted almost identical and told me exactly what the FHA Streamline entailed. Because of MiLend, I wasted $450 on an appraisal that an FHA Streamline loan didn't even require. I do not recommend this company. Go elsewhere. (FYI: I contacted MiLend because a local radio personality recommended them. Don't believe what you hear on the radio. These other people who gave glowing testimonies probably didn't know enough to check with other companies besides MiLend.)

Representative (David) tried to strongarm me in to providing personal information such as SSI# and D.O.B. for a quote. When I mentioned I received quotes from competitors without providing that information he told me that was illegal or their quotes were not valid. He also told that he didn't have time for a "ball park" quote; either he do a real quote or nothing. I chose nothing! Very RUDE!
