+ -1 moreI have taken my laptops there before and have ALWAYS been exceedingly pleased with their efforts! They are reasonably priced, professional, honest and polite.
Description of Work: My MackBook, just a year old was taking 2 days to boot up. The HD needed to be replaced but first they saved ALL of the data and put it on the new disc and a back up external HD I provided. It took 3 -4 days because of the bad shape the HD was in.

+ -1 moreI've always been extremely impressed with Metro Computer. The people in there are honest, and they do an excellent job at great prices. I bought a retina ready Macbook because my older Macbook was getting a little too slow even though I had 16 GB of ram in there, and he told me that I could have just upgraded my the hard drive in my old Macbook to a SSD hard drive. I work from an office in Atlanta, but I also work at home, and I needed both of my computers to be up to speed. I brought my computer to Metro Computer last Friday, and they had it ready within a few hours. I picked it up the next day, and they let me test it out to see if it was indeed running faster, and it was! I feel like I have two retina ready Macbook Pros. In addition, my computer was cleaned on the inside and outside. I couldn't be more impressed. I'm high on Metro Computer!

+ -1 moreMy laptop had been running increasingly loudly and slowly, and simple tasks were requiring an inordinate amount of time to complete. As I am not computer savvy, I was concerned about taking my computer to someone who would charge an exorbitant price for extra services that I didn't need. Having read some positive reviews online, I decided to try Metro Computer. Technician Vu was very polite and patiently explained the problem and my options, and I am now happily typing this review on a quiet and speedy laptop. I thank Metro for solving the problem with efficiency and professionalism.
Description of Work: I brought my laptop to Metro because of noisy and slow performance. Metro performed computer cleaning and dust removal (fan repaired/lubricated, cleaned system internally) and removed program that was unnecessarily consuming memory.

+ -1 moreStill, all went fine. Indeed when I took it home there was no problem. The even better news was, since they could find nothing wrong, NO CHARGE!!!
Description of Work: We have a relatively new HP Touch Smart (Envy 23) PC that suddenly went dark. We tried all the normal things like rebooting, then completely unplugging the computer without any luck. Neither my wife or I have any tech knowledge and our hi-tech neighbor was working virtually round the clock for a new West Coast employer so we were faced with hiring someone. I reviewed Angie's for companies with references but my wife wanted to try Metro (who had no reviews) based on the suggestion of an Office Depot employee who found Metro on his iPhone. So I took it in to Metro, they said they would run their diagnostics and call me the next day which they did. It worked fine for them but he offered to run more diagnostics the second night.
