Maya Van Lines did a great job with our interstate move! The men were on time, even gave me a heads up call. They packed and loaded, taking special care to protect my furniture and floors. The guys worked efficiently and worked just as h****** the back end! I would highly recommend and use Maya's services again in the future.

I called Leo to schedule a time to get a moving quote. He arrived at the scheduled time and was very helpful in explaining how the move would go and answered all my questions. I called back to schedule the move with them and set the date. On the morning of the move date, two men arrived at the scheduled time and proceeded to load the apartment furniture. They then followed me to the storage facility and loaded that. They took extra care when loading our furniture. After loading all the furniture on the truck, they left for NC. When they arrived at our destination, they unloaded everything carefully, moving items where we wanted them. I would highly recommend them.

Both moves went extremely well. I have nice quality furniture and some delicate antiques which required special attention. The movers were extremely careful and there was no dammage to any pieces. Each item was protected while in the truck and placed in the storage unit wtih the proper protection (moving blankets, or plastic wrap). The individuals from both crews were delightful to work with and actually made a rather taxing job quite enjoyable! They were attentive to my suggestions and offered good ideas to make the moves go smoothly. I also found the office staff very pleasant. I highly recommend Maya.

Our experience with Leo and the moving crew could not have been smoother, clearer or more skillfully done! Leo answered all my questions ahead and sent me useful information about how to compare moving companies and how to check on safety records. This turned out to be very helpful, because I did check, and discovered that every single van line I had contacted for an estimate had at least one safety violation or problem on their record EXCEPT Maya. I did pay a higher price than I could have gotten elsewhere, but I was not willing to have an anxious experience and possibly lose items. Leo, the contact person at the Atlanta end, was always available and followed up immediately with answers to questions. He was kind and reassuring. We had everything ready for them, but the three-man crew came prepared with every supply they could need. They carefully wrapped every single piece of furniture in padded cloths; they loaded everything quickly and efficiently; they were polite, responsible, and best of all, they were NICE. Raphael, the crew leader, was so personable, and was clearly committed to giving us the best, safest experience possible. He explained how the trucking would work, when it was likely to arrive, and how the movers at the other end would likely negotiate a long, unpaved driveway. The entire process took less than 3 hours at our end. Though it was the week before Thanksgiving, Maya delivered the goods to my daughter on the short end of the window they had given us. I think it took only about four working days before it arrived, the guys who unloaded were fantastic, and they assembled two bed frames for the kids very quickly. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Though moving furniture is not cheap, this experience was so positive that I'll definitely be using Maya again when I move!

I received a call from Leo at Maya and we discussed that there was obviously a miscommunication when I booked my move. Leo and I came up with a resolution that was satisfactory to both of us and I appreciate his care and concern for my issues. I was very happy with the packers and un-packers and in the future I would use Maya as my movers. Because of the care and concern from Maya I would like to change my rating and give them a A. I would recommend this company to friends or family.

I tried calling the toll free number and kept getting connected to a non-related voice mail. The web site was not helpful nor was it user friendly.

Both crews were extremely professional and took extra care with my things. Many of the boxes arrived sopping wet but I was quickly compensated for the things that were beyond repair . Not a bit of hassle involved.

They did what they said thay would and there were no extra charges. When I called them they were closed but they called me back and emailed me. Leo came out and looked at what I needed moved and gave the price.

We went with them due to their good reviews. Leo came out and gave us a "binding estimate," whatever that is, and advised us about insurance and other aspects of the move. Based on our discussion, we sold and donated a number of items which lowered our "binding estimate." The foreman and a team of four other men worked long, hard and seamlessly to box, disassemble, pack and load. We've had movers on four previous occasions, and this crew completely wrapped furniture in plastic, tape and pads. We were impressed. Our belongings were stored over a Sunday and Monday. Tuesday, just as we completed closing on our new house, the foreman, Raphael texted me that they were already at the house. Not all went smoothly. After the move we did get a few nicks and scratches, but nothing major. The van backed into our mailbox, and they somehow failed to leave our step ladder. Leo saw to it that the mailbox and the ladder were replaced with new ones. Like I said earlier, this move was so much better than previous moves.

Estimated cost of complete move from Georgia to California. Came in at exact estimate, which included packing / unpacking, loading, transport and unloading. The movers went out of their way to pack and load the truck a day before a severe winter storm forecast in order to finish the move on time and not be delayed by weather. Overall, a very professional and dedicated operation, and we will highly recommend this company to anyone considering a moving company.

Called a week before move and Leo came out to go through house and give estimate of number of hours for this local move. Was quoted 5.0 hours for a 3 man crew (15 man-hours). I liked Leo's professionalism and hired these folks after his visit. On moving day, first Leo called and then the crew called a few minutes afterward to give me their arrival time. They were within their estimated window (and only a couple of minutes late due to Atlanta traffic). Did a walk-through with the crew in all the rooms, signed additional paperwork, and then the fun began. Loading of the truck was just about 2.5 hours; unloading in both the storage and the apartment were about 2+ hours in total. There was more traffic than anticipated, so in total we went over the 5 hour estimate, but it was less than 6 in total. The crew Maya sent were a pleasure, and they worked hard and had fun doing most of it. By the end I was joking with them. Would recommend them to anyone. I'm planning on hiring them again in late spring when I move out of my apartment into my permanent location.

Staff were completely professional and did a fantastic job packing. When we arrived in Santa Monica, there were a few items scuffed but it should be somewhat expected for a 3000 mile move. The driver and moving team in California were equally professional. We would definitely use this company again.

As stated by Leo of Maya Van Lines, the moving began around 9:30am. Leo came personally and made sure all the furniture was protected and professionally wrapped. All was done in a timely manner. His people worked very thoughtfully, quickly, and with a sense of enjoyment. We had them deliver it to our storage facility about 6 miles away. The job was completed in less time than expected. We would use their services again.

The crew at Maya Van Lines arrived on time and went about their business in a very professional manner. Setting up the move was very easy and they called to confirm things when they said they would. I couldn't be more pleased with the service they provided. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a worry free move.

Leo and his team are fantastic. Their pricing was in line with the other moves we quoted for a fixed price move, and it was performed excellently. Finding movers is always iffy...i wouldn't hesitate to recommend Maya Van Lines to anyone.

We had 3 men and an estimate of 4 hours. The job actually took just under 3 hours (minimum of 3 hours with this company and most others from whom I received an estimate). The guys were fast, professional, careful and personable. And they were really nice to my dogs! We will definitely use them again when it is time to bring everything back home!
