I hired Mark to clean up my yard, trim trees and bushes, do some weeding, and place some pine straw. The work was done quickly -- within a day or two of my meeting him for an estimate. He was diligent, timely, courteous and professional and the yard looks outstanding. He was expensive compared to other quotes I had received for similar work in the past, but the results probably justified the added expense.

Mark responded promptly to a minor issue (sprinkler head) and made surethat the project was perfect. He did everything on schedule and there were no hidden fees. It was great to work with someone who was responsive to our needs and made the overall experience enjoyable.

I hired Mark to place sod. He had young school boys do the work, was barely there himself and did not roll the lawn. He overestimated the yard size so I paid for 1/2 palate of useless sod. When told my lawn did look rolled, I asked him and he said it is optional, I can pay for it. He did not offer rolling at contract time. My grass became completely brown in 3 weeks despite watering. He only says I don't water and calls me a liar when I say I am. I asked about the guarantee he says that does not apply. Save your money and hire someone who knows what he is doing. I made a $5200.00 mistake.

I think they did an excellent job and I am really pleased. We followed the instructions by using the liquid fertilizer the following day and watering every day! The sod is looking good!

Mark made a return trip finish rolling the sod on the day and he promised

I had Mark come out to re-sod 1200 sq ft backyard with zoysia. He gave me a good quote ($1900) so I hired him on the spot. Mark and his guys came in next day and removed sod. Total project took 3 days. It even rained heavily the night before laying the sod and he was able to work through that. The project was a little tricky as my backyard is not even, and required a lot of cutting/placement. He did great and I would highly recommend him.

Although the sod purchased for my yard and installed by Mark has had problems, Mark showed great character and customer service, did not abandon me, and is trying to rectify the situation in an ongoing way. For this reason, I would recommend Mark.

I would rate Mark's business 6 stars if there was a 6 star rating. From the time I met Mark I was so impressed with his professionalism and most of all him being a Christian young man. Mark kept me inform on every step of the process. His work was top notch. My Neighbor is hiring him to do work on her property as well. He is a keeper. I will hire him for all my yard work. That professional cancelled the job at the last minute, leaving me frustrated and a little desperate. I found Mark through HomeAdvisor. He and his crew completed the work almost immediately, as promised, with terrific attention to detail. Mark and his crew are efficient, considerate, and professional, and I will trust my projects to Mark's Yard Service in the future. (And I won't renew my membership to the other "List"!)

Did a great job!

Mark's level of communication was excellent. His texts and calls to keep me updated on arrival time and status of project were very appreciated. The team he had working with him on the project were professional and considerate - real assets. When they finished, the yard looked better than I had hoped. He did such a good job I hired him on the spot to do more landscaping on the front of the house.

Mark was super-nice, well spoken, fast and prompt with his work, and did a really good job installing and following-up sod. I did take a half-star out because I found his attempts to up-sale other services a bit pushy and also he wanted to increase the price he had quoted me, after I told him that I decided to use his service (citing a recent increase in the price of the sod). We worked out the details easily enough, though. The final outcome was well satisfactory.
