We tried several different large and small cleaning services before choosing them as our regular weekly cleaning service. Very nice couple and very trustworthy.

+ -1 moreI just can't say enough good about Luana Castro House Cleaning. It was hard to get an open spot in their schedule, but once we got it they came in and did just a fantastic job. We first asked them to do a "deep cleaning' in preparation for a big party. They spent eight hours ($350) and seriously cleaned every square inch. They even vacuumed and dusted the tops of the kitchen cabinets behind the moldings. She got burned on stains off our stovetop that I'd scrubbed forever with polish and cleaner. They are polite, friendly, reliable and do a simply fantastic job. We've since signed up for bi-weekly cleaning and they continue to deliver.

+ -1 moreLuana and her husband Ramón are a very nice and friendly couple. All contacts (e-mailing, phone calls, visit for quote) were promptly and in time. First cleaning was done thorougly and fast, even they couldn´t start with deep cleaning as scheduled due to some unexpected renovations in our home. They brought along their own cleaning stuff which I found great. They are also using materials based on vinegar, which suits me perfect. They even took the garbage with them! I have a very good feeling about them supporting us and hope we will have a long time cooperation. Brigitte

+ -1 moreI have used two housekeeping services over the last 3.5 years. We used one service for about 2.5 years and another service (more recent), we only used a few times before we dismissed them. Our concern when it comes to house cleaning is consistency and thoroughness. Luana and her husband came into our home this morning and did a fantastic job. Both my husband and I were amazed at how thorough she and Ramon were - but quick also. They didn't look as if they were hurried, but stayed very focused. They left their cell phones in the car, brought their own equipment, and got right to work. This is the cleanest my house has been in a long time! Luana and Ramon are nice as well. Very kind and great communicators (which includes excellent listening skills). She took time to understand the way we like things done and then executed. I highly recommend her.

Description of Work: Luana and her husband come once a month (or more often, when I need them) to give my apartment the sort of "deep clean" that any residence with 3 cats inevitably requires! I have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, study, and family room--and they cover every inch of every room. In addition to the obvious basics--vacuuming the carpets, sweeping and mopping hardwood floors; cleaning counters, sinks, mirrors, appliances, toilets, etc.--they add nice extras like dusting all the furniture and venetian blinds, making the beds (even though I've told them there's no need to!), and even adjusting the rug under my litter boxes so that it better captures all the cat litter particles my three darling pets seem to track everywhere! It's those nice touches--and their general courtesy, good personalities, and consistent willingness to work with my scheduling needs--that have made me a committed user of their services. Also, the $100 price I've listed above includes a tip that I consistently give them to show my appreciation--their actual prices are somewhat lower.

+ -1 moreI found Luana on Angies List. Until I moved to Florida this month, Luana and her husband came monthly to clean my house. They were always professional and did a great job. They worked quickly and superbly to get the job done. Kitchens, bathrooms, you name it. Super clean. And they are honest and trustworthy, so that I just gave them a key and left a check for them. I think they will be hard to replace in my new home. I wish I could take them with me.
Description of Work: Cleaned kitchen, baths, floors, mirrors, changed bedding, dusted, removed trash, etc. Top to bottom fantastic cleaning!

A great thing about them is that they are very reliable, professional, and great at coordinating appointments and if you've worked with housekeepers in the past you know these can be very difficult. One thing I will say is that they did a great job when they started with me but have since gotten to be only average. They tend to take shortcuts as it seems they have gotten very busy and rush through everything but I think they still do better than a lot of people.

She'll come to your house to do a consultation (probably with her husband) and then set up a schedule. First service costs a bit more, but after that it is $95 for a 2400 sq ft house. Really sweet person who does a great job.

They are always on time, they are always thorough in their cleaning, and they are always cheerful and professional. I am so happy to have found them on Angie’s List and hope to have a long working relationship with them. Luana and her husband do their best to make sure everything is completed to their customer’s expectations. They are truly wonderful to work with.
Description of Work: My townhouse is about 1200 sq.ft. On the first visit in Janaury, they did a deep cleaning. The cost was $100. On the second visit in February, they did a general cleaning. The cost was $85. They cleaned my whole house, mopped floors, etc.

+ -1 moreThey took about 3.5 hours on a 1200 square foot 2 bed/2bath condo and were well worth the time. My floors were exceptionally clean and they were kind to my cats who basically kept running away from the vacuum. I would absolutely hire them again.
Description of Work: Completely cleaned my 2 bedroom condo in order to be "market ready." Cleaned 2 inch blinds, ceiling fans, floors, and base boards, stainless steal appliances, pictures, & furniture. They managed to get every piece of cat hair off my couch which is not easy.
