Description of Work: I have hired Phil Bashaw repeatedly and have been consistently happy with his work. I have a large roof deck on my condo, and he installed dozens of potted plants, transplanted some existing plants, and resuscitated my drip watering system. I have a gorgeous urban garden thanks to him. There are two things I especially like about Phil. First, he is a gardener in his heart and soul. He really loves what he does and brings an artist's appreciation to his work. The bamboo troughs he did are especially pretty. Second, his prices are good. I received some astronomical bids from some chi-chi landscaping outfits. With Phil, I got reasonable prices without losing the passion. The only drawback with his service is that he is not always perfectly organized. Sometimes he is running late, and sometimes he brings too many supplies or not enough supplies to the site. I was OK with a bit of disorganization, and it didn't raise his prices.
