They were friendly, prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. I rated them at a 5 across the board because my experience was outstanding.

There is a lot of hype and misinformation with asbestos abatement. I liked this company because they just do testing not the work. There is no conflict of interest here.

The owners are easy to work with and knowledgeable. They spent extra time at my house during the inspection answering all of my questions. They are very patient and friendly. I would highly recommend this company to others looking for a home inspection.

Mike and company performed a general home inspection of my mother's house in preparation for sale. I hired them long distance based on the reviews on Home Advisor. They were respectful, considerate and professional in my multiple phone calls to them. Another family member met them at the house to let them inside. She was also impressed with their professionalism. They emailed me a 30 page report on the same day as the inspection. The findings were explained in layman terms and allowed me to hire the appropriate professional tradespeople to complete any needed repairs. Very pleased with this company.

Provided a professional service. They were thorough, listening to my concerns, and answering my questions in a way I understood. My initial call was due to a concern of mold in the crawl space of a home we were purchasing. They provided a report complete with pictures, and 3 air samples were collected to be submitted for lab results.....very thorough!!! I had Mike & Jason come out specifically to check two materials in our house for asbestos. The starting price for their visit was quite high, which I understand is because typically they are doing a full inspection, rather than individual tests of home materials. In retrospect- perhaps I should have asked them to do the full inspection just to get better value for my money! Still, I found no other options for what I needed that were available in Pittsburgh, and I'm very happy with how quickly they were able to come out, their willingness to travel a far distance, the interaction with them both via phone and in person, and the speed/quality of the test results.

I'm very pleased that I chose Indoor Air Quality Consultants to do the testing. I learned a lot from Michael while samples were taken. Michael was very thorough in his report explaining what problems exist and how to remedy them. Very professional. I highly recommend Indoor Air Quality Consultants.

I was the first to receive advise from Mike together with his new partner Jason, who has asbestos and building inspection experience. They gave me so much advice and did not just take samples and leave. I am so glad I didn.'t start any basement project until I spoke with them.

Michael is very professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. He spent a great deal of time determining the root cause of the mold problem. Michael told me what to do so that I could eliminate the mold on my own. Utilizing his suggestions, the mold was eradicated within a day, with minimal cost to me. Michael was honest - making sure I only spent the money I needed not only on the mold removal, but also on his consulting services. You can trust his knowledge and honesty.

Michael Medley is honest and treats you as if the home is his. Just from talking to him you can tell he knows the business. He is not looking for a second job down the road like some companies do. A few tweaks with the humidity and air flow and my problem should be solved. I highly recommend this business you cant go wrong.
