Thank you for your interest in Highland Paint Restoration. We are locally Owned & Operated with over 30 years of experience providing residential and commercial painting. We believe proper surface preparation, high-quality paint material and application are the keys to a successful and durable outcome on one of your most important investments. We offer interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, faux finishes, plaster repair, drywall repair, popcorn/stipple ceiling removal, wallpaper removal, soffit and fascia repair, pressure washing, deck and fence staining. Description of Work: Repaired plaster and repainted dining room. The only thing that would have made it better was for the paint to dry quicker... It was very humid!

Overall the job went fine.
Description of Work: The owner came out and painted my main floor and part of the second floor (I have an open layout) while I was on vacation. When I came home, the painting was completed, beautiful, and they way I wanted it. Everything was cleaned up, too. I would have liked a bit more prep work (such as sanding), but it was a great job and I continue to enjoy the new colors.

As far as sanding, we prepped (filled small holes,sanded,primed), the walls only...you only wanted us to caulk the baseboards for their 'future' painting...

Painting is my craft and I care dearly about how my customers react to my work. Because of this, anything less than A is unacceptable. I am happy to own up to faults when they are my own... but there was some miscommunication here that was not clearly outlined by the member: This was a big deal customer. After several phone conversations about the work, she never mentioned the condition of the room and the extensive cleaning needed ; this room needed professional cleaners and equipment. The walls and floors were very unsanitary and I had health concerns about my coworker and myself. I felt it was necessary to ask the client to help us clean . I feel awful she took offense to this, but feel it was necessary for her to help so we could get our painting started. If we had to stay additional time, there would be additional charges that I felt she did not want to pay. All in All we got the job done, I took a shower, and am happy she is now pleased with the look of her room. I look forward with working around any situation set forth and plan to be as professional and as courteous in your home! Madelyn Posey-HPR

Description of Work: Asked for a painting estimate but they never got around to giving us one. By the time Madelyn called back, we had already chosen another contractor. Madelyn, however, was very professional, friendly, and informative over the phone. I would consider using their services in the future.

Description of Work: All the wood trim was peeling/splitting from years of neglect from previous owners. Madelyn consulted with us and we felt good about her suggestion as the extent of preparation the wood would need,(she is BIG on preparation!). After pressure washing and a brief drying period, she and her crew sanded/grinded on the wood for two full days. They primed and glazed the windows that were bad, and finish it off with two beautiful coats of "Duration". We are proud and happy with the outcome!
