My project's artistic wrought iron journey became reality at Heckelmann Iron Works. It become obvious that TJ and Bill's experience, coupled with their passion and skill could bring my design to Art Form quickly, bringing joy to my heart. My final product had text-book welds, perfectly aligned components, completely free of slag and contaminants with a beautiful finish ready for life-time viewing. Best WI product development in my 40 years of commercial trade work.Consider this organization the standard for construction and installation of fine wrought iron products and custom made art.

They did a very solid job with the in-site welding involved in the installation of our cor-ten. I ordered the cor-ten steel myself, pre-cut. However, they facilitated in welding rebar to the cor-ten to allow for installation and in welding the strips together at the junction points. Overall, I think TJ did a very good job. He was personable and reliable. I found the overall project a bit more costly than I anticipated, but I also understand that on-site welding is not cheap and that there are not so many artisans doing this type of work. I would consider using TJ again for future projects.

TJ responded very quickly to my inquiry and asked me to provide pictures of the problem. He gave me an idea of what the issue was and scheduled a meeting. He was on time for our meeting and gave me an estimate; timing was less a little loose but that was understandable since our initial contact was during the holidays. He stayed in touch during the process and the installed final product looks great. So much better than the original rails. Our neighbors have taken notice and are impressed as well. His work isn't cheap but I'm confident it will last and that's more important to me.

TJ and his Dad were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the design process. They met with me twice to discuss the design before any fabrication took place. Fabrication was done within a week and installation took just a few hours. They provided updates via email. We are very happy with the finished results. I would definitely use them again.

Everything went exactly as planned. No problems. Product delivered as promised.
