 + -1 moreI thought it would be picking out wall colors and swatches. It was more of a design for their cabinets. But it was fine, I liked their ideas. I will go with them, my fear is more timing. Most likely it would be 6 weeks, which is normal. But right now, we have an extra person living with us and can't spare the time.

 + -1 moreA father/son duo showed up for what was suppose to be a kitchen design consultation. I purchased the deal expecting a professional to provide design suggestions/solutions to the current layout. They were nice, but fell short of offering solutions. It was more of a "we can do whatever you want" conversation. The initial quote lacked basic details I would expect in any estimate (i.e. how many linear feet of upper and lower cabinets, including height of upper cabinets, same for counter top, flooring and lighting description, plumbing & electrical changes and any allowances for cabinet hardware, fixtures, sinks, etc.) and the proposal lacked the details above in the quote. The experience lacked details leading to lack of confidence to move forward.
Description of Work: Kitchen renovation design consultation and quote offer was purchased.

 + -1 moreIt actually went pretty well. In the beginning Pedro said it was going to take two months total to complete the different jobs around my home and actually he finished everything exactly at the end of the second month. He was very punctual.
Description of Work: Kitchen remodel and expansion, master bathroom remodel and expansion and remodel of second bathroom (downstairs) some other small jobs like paint, smooth ceilings and replacing the front door with the installation of a storm door.

 + -1 moreI called and set up an appointment with them over the phone yesterday. They were supposed to show up at 10:30-11:00 pm today (3/22/2017), but no one showed up or called. It is now past 12:00 pm, and I have not heard anything. It would have if they would have called, and did not have the courtesy to respond (No call, no show). I do not want to have people wasting my time.
Description of Work: I purchased a deal for $39 for a Kitchen Design Consultation Plus Credit Toward Remodel of off Angie's List.

 + 1 moreWe were overwhelmingly happy with Hdez's work. They were so respectful of our home while they worked on this project and took great pride in making us happy. Their workmanship was outstanding and the bathroom turned out beyond what we had hoped. They added so many extras along the way, and their work was truly custom--nothing cookie-cutter about the job. They were honest, punctual, and very professional. I look forward to working with them on future projects. Best of all, they charged significantly less than the other estimates we received.
Description of Work: We had our Master Bath completely gutted and remodeled. At the same time, we also had our closet remodeled with custom cabinets and built-in ironing board and hamper. We cannot say enough great things about our experience with Hdez!!

 + -1 moreProvider was punctual and professional. They seemed knowledgeable of the services they were recommending. Pricing seemed a little on the high side for what we were wanting done. Maybe prices were in line for what they were proposing. We requested cabinet resurfacing, granite, backsplash and lighting. Their recommendation was for cabinet replacement. They did not do cabinet resurfacing.
Description of Work: Services provided included providing an recommendation and quote for a kitchen remodel. No work was actually performed.

 + 1 moreEverything went as plan. We went a little over the time frame but Pedro kept me inform about the delay. It took longer to get the custom glass made for the master bathroom. I did have concerns on some things but once I voice them with Pedro, he took care of them right away. I will also add that they communicated with me through out the process. Whenever they where coming in a bit late, they would let my wife know the day prior. Whenever they where waiting for parts they would call my wife to let her know that they where not coming the following day so she could go do something else for that day. They swept every day after they got done for the day and tried their best to keep the dust in check. It was a big project but they did a great job and I told Pedro I will hire him to do my kitchen next year.
Description of Work: We had 3 bathrooms completely gutted and redone by Hdez. On the guest bathroom, we completely removed the bathtub and had them make me a custom full size walk in shower. Recess lighting, tile, toilet and vents with new custom cabinet. For the second bathroom, we gutted it and installed a new bath tub, recess lighting, hanging lights and a new bluetooth exhaust fan. I also had him install a custom shower head with a hand wand accessory with a dedicated lever for it. The bathroom came out very nice. He also made a custom medicine cabinet for it. For the master bathroom some serious work went into it. Everything was gutted and re-done. A Custom water spa whirlpool was installed. He installed a customer water jet system for the shower. The walk in shower was enclosed in glass. Custom cabinets with custom shelving in the toilet room. Everything came out gorgeous. My wife is very happy with the outcome.

 + 1 moreThese guys are very professional. Their craftsmanship skills are incredible. We had ideas and a few photos of what we wanted. Pedro and his son took the time to come to our home and talk to us to understand exactly what we wanted. They drew up plans for approval that were great. The kitchen cabinets are beautiful. We did the same thing for the 2 bathrooms and they turned out awesome.

 + 0 moreRight from Day 1 that I initiated my interest in renovating our Kitchen both Petro and Joseph showed their quality commitment in the project. They always stayed within the timeline given for each phase of the project and kept us updated on the progress. I really knew these guys would give us what we want right from the beginning knowing that it's a family run business where I could see the father spearheading the full work and making sure they get us the end product the way we visioned for. We are really glad that we found these guys from Angie's, not to mention they were always ready to take our observations be it on the design or when the kitchen work were getting installed and also the partners that they have tie up with in getting the electrical and countertop work to the cleanest possible way.
Description of Work: Hdez Gabinets did the remodel of our Kitchen and Bathroom. Overall it was a real good project work done by Petro and his son Joseph. Very much satisfied with the way the work was done neat and clean. Having seen the quality work now from them I am sure they will be my preferred contact for all other renovation work that i will be planning at my place in the near future. Highly recommend these folks!!

 + -1 moreThey were responsive in coming out to do the consultation but they didn't do a consultation. We wanted a design consultation and what we got was, they just asked us what we wanted done, like an estimate. What we wanted to do is take the existing kitchen space and make the most use of it by maybe changing the cabinets, changing counter tops, direction or changing the floor or the work space or whatever, we got nothing of that. They were actually well over an hour late getting to the...they actually missed the first appointment.
Description of Work: It was a Big Deal. They were supposed to do a design consultation. What we got was an estimate for what we described to them we wanted done.
