This project was a complete disaster of awful logistics. Summary: - Had to do 4-5 walkthroughs talking through the same things with different people who communicated terribly with one-another, all for one $13K project. - Work was only partially finished 2 months after the final deadline - finally gave up and finished with another contractor and some work was never finished because we had a baby (still have a hole in our floor, our window was never widened and replaced). - Terrible communication between sales/management and workers - tons of mistakes, and very unfriendly and unwilling to fix problems because 'well that's Randy's problem, not mine' or 'well that's David's problem, not mine.' - Weeks of delay due to unreturned emails and phone calls - one person said 'i'll call you right back' about 12 times and never once called me - ever. They literally dodge your calls. I would email 5-6 times with no response, until I finally got the owner's email address and copied him (it barely helped). - They tell their unfortunate workers not to do certain pieces of the job that were agreed upon, and then they're unreachable when you try to call. They leave holes in the wall, the floor, bad wiring causing fuses to blow, don't finish painting. - Worst thing is they ordered the wrong window, and then tried to secretly drop it off at our house no less than 3 times so that we'd then 'have to pay for it' because we 'already bought it.' I'm not kidding, and I know it sounds crazy - we even warned them over and over that they need to check with us BEFORE ordering because we'd, you know, like to tell them what kind of window we wanted! And they still screwed it up, and thought WE should have to pay for it! Overall: Some of their sales people and management are dishonest and don't understand customer service. Others are really well intentioned, but completely disorganized and unable to manage even 10% of their jobs. It makes for the SINGLE most frustrating professional experience I've ever had in my entire life. It's a shame, because a lot of the work they DID do was good, and the people working for them were mostly very nice and talented. But this company will ruin your life while you work with them and will take more effort than you can imagine - avoid at ALL costs. FIND SOMEONE ELSE who is HONEST and CAPABLE.
