+ -1 moreLet's start with the first move. The moving crew was supposed to arrive on Saturday morning between 9:00 and 9:30 am, but at 9:30 am, we were called, and a supervisor explained that the moving crew assigned to us had been out until 2 am the Friday night moving another home, and would not be able to come on Saturday because they needed to rest. Oddly, they offered that the crew come on Sunday. So the crew arrived Sunday, and when we expressed concern that they were well rested, they informed us that they were actually in Charlotte on Saturday moving someone else. The second move, the crew was completely different, and not to be inconsiderate, only 2 spoke English, and they were lazy compared to the first crew. They all had Good Samaritan coats/shirts, but as we learned at the end of the day ONLY 1 was an employee (3 months experience), the other 3 were day labor. In summary, we were lied to in different ways on both moves. It was not the behavior we expected.
Description of Work: This was a two part move from Buckhead to Cartersville. From a 5000 sq ft 5 bedroom/5 bathroom home. Most of which was packed by us. We selected Good Samaritan because they presented themselves as a Christian company, right down to the cross and fish in the logos. We also selected Good Samaritan because they claimed to be a professional company that employed professional movers (which was important because we didn't want day labor moving our home), and told us we would have the same crew for both moves.
