Description of Work: THE CONTRACTOR WAS SUPPOSED TO INSTALL AN ELECTRICAL DROP TO MY HOUSE. HE FAILED INSPECTION THE FIRST TIME BECAUSE HE DID NOT RUN THE WIRING INSIDE OF CONDUIT PIPING. THE SECOND TIME, HE FAILED MY INSPECTION BECAUSE THE WORK HE HAD DONE WAS AN EYE SORE. I ASKED HIM TO FIX IT AND HE STOPPED RETURNING MY CALLS. I HAD TO HIRE ANOTHER ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR TO FIX HIS WORK AND WE ENDED UP TEARING OUT AND REMOVING ALL OF THE WORK HE HAD DONE. IN SPITE OF NOT FINISHING THE JOB AND SLOPPY WORK THE CONTRACTOR CONTACTED ME TWO MONTHS LATER AND WANTED PAYMENT FOR WORK HE HAD NOT COMPLETED. WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT I WOULD NOT PAY HIM HE FILED A LIEN AGAINST THE PROPERTY FOR 4 TIMES THE ORIGINAL PRICE OF $450, DESPITE THE FACT THAT HE NEVER PROVIDED ME A WRITTEN QUOTE OR AN INVOICE TO EXPLAIN THE CHARGES.
