We bought a home that is 3 years old. The kitchen appliances, which were installed by the builder, are all GE. The markings for the burner dials on electric cook top (Model PP 932S M3SS) are just about all worn off. We consider that a safety hazard. After multiple communications with the manufacturer, their opinion is that the cook top is out of warranty and the markings are really cosmetic. They would be happy to sell us a new cook top. I went online and saw numerous complaints about this issue. People were talking about how they were resolving the issue by either painting or etching the numbers back on themselves. This is ridiculous that they won't stand by their product so we will never purchase a GE product again.
Description of Work: This is an electric cook top installed in a new construction house, approximately 2013.

They fixed it fine. It think the cost was about $75 for the visit and $250 for parts. The actual customer service guy was great. Overall the service seemed slightly expensive.
Description of Work: I used GE's general service because I had a GE refrigerator issue.
